Its in lagos. Even those who did tests and interviews in abuja and ph came to lagos for medicals. The previous set of union bank 2009/2010 had trainings in abuja, ph and lagos, but I think they are using lagos only for this set.

You may just go with your mum to where you are posted to, so you will be with her. Its important she is with you.

Union bank is better. The only permanent thing in life is change, and it includes change of environment. I also got the union bank offer and I pray I am posted to ogun state where I live, or to oyo state. If I dont get these two places, I will make do with anywhere I am posted to, afterall, I survived in a completely strange land during my nysc. Except you are married and you dont want to leave your husband. I dont support long-distance marriages, because body no be wood. Its the reality. However, postings will not be done until after the training, so go for the training with union bank and hope for the best posting.

I am only commenting based on what someone in the first batch posted on a job site similar to nairaland. I will do my medicals tomorrow and wait patiently for my letter. Are you making the enquiries for someone?

I think the parlance varies from bank to bank. Branch officer 3 or banking officer 3 ( I cant remember clearly) was what someone in the first batch said one would become after the 6-week training. I cant wait to get my offer letter.

I am not too sure but from what I saw on another site, they pay 80k during training. Duration of training is 6 weeks and after that, you become banking officer 3 or so.

You may not be able to use the first set to judge how our set will be handled. If you are bored, you may go for the teaching job to kill time. For me, na so so sleep sleep I go dey sleep before training. I expect the training to be rigorous, so let me sleep in advance.

What is the name of the company? It should be normal aptitude test though. English, maths and diagrams.

I got the same email, but no graduate should fall for that trick. Banks do collect training fees from trainees, but not directly. When you join a bank as a trainee, your pay during the training is usually not up to what you should earn as a full staff. The deficit is the training fee. They just deduct it from your salary. RGE should do the same.

I think you guys should call them or send emails to them. They are out with a new advert for trainees again. I dont know the problems with this company o. I was not shortlisted for the earlier recruitment you guys are talking about, but I dont know why they should be conducting another recruitment so soon. You may even go to their office because, for you to have gone this far, you guys deserve feedbacks from them. If the mountain does not go to Moses, Moses should go to the mountain.

I think they use gmat. The only material I use in preparing for tests is gmat 2007 edition. I also look for info about the coy. I do my best and go home. I just pray they call us this month for test.

I submitted my cv in june when they did their test at idejo, lagos.

For diamond bank, we dont have insiders there, so when we heard they were having a test in june, we went to gatecrash. They did not allow us to write the test, but they collected our cvs and promised to call us for test in september. That was how we submitted, and we are hoping they call us this month.

I got the same email. Do these people think we are fools or what?

Guy, anything could have happened o. Naija for real. Naija for life. I think you also gatecrashed diamond bank test in june @ idejo and were promised to be called for test in september. The september is here o.
