Why you no wan go? If it is because of the negative things you have read about peopleplus/zenith bank, then go for the test. If you are not doing anything at the moment, please go for it. Dont let anybody discourage you unnecessarily. It is up to you to decide, but if I was in your shoes, I would go for the chat, test, interview and the job.

For the maths, try and solve all the questions and be sure of them. It is possible, because calculators are allowed. You only need to understand the graphs and tables quickly. Also, use calculators only for tricky calculations, because pressing the calculator for every multiplication and division wastes time. For verbal part, I zero my mind that I cant read all the five passages in the time given. So, I read the first three passages carefully and answer the questions with some degree of certainity. The last 90 seconds in the time allotted to the verbal section is spent on what I call tactical guessing. Having answered three passages carefully, I just guess the remaining two passages. I choose two options consistently for the ten questions drawn from the last two passages. I may choose a and b for all, or b and c, c and d etc. For the abstract, you will notice that there are two types of questions. A type (type 1) has diagrams in series. There may be like four diagrams for a question and you just study the pattern of movement of certain shapes or dots through the diagrams for the particular question. This type of questions is easy to get, so scroll through the abstract test to solve them. If you come across abstract questions that consist of only one diagram (type 2), skip them because they take time and are not easy to decode. After solving the easy questions (type 1), you can then scroll back to solve the type 2 questions. I used this method to scale through dragnet tests for glo, pz, gsk and union bank. It only failed me at cadbury's dragnet test. Interviews have always been my bus-stop, but I thank God I passed union bank interview. I pray it works for anyone who adopts it, but there is no guarantee that it will always work.

We people of the south west have to save ourselves from the ACN. Why ask medical workers to work 24 hours when he should have employed more people and reduce unemployment? Answer: Employing more people means more wage bill and less money available to steal. Even bankers dont work 24 hours.

Guy, where you dig this thread from? Anyways, I am expecting my offer letter from union bank. True, the bank went through some crisis, but it is now back to profitability. I wish myself a fulfilling career with the bank.

Oshiomole, na devil go punish you. For crying out loud, there are laid down rules and disciplinary procedures in the teaching service. When I got a job last year with the ogun state teaching service commission, we were given a manual. The disciplinary procedures were clearly stated there. Of course, I am no longer there because the 'progressive' ACN governor ibikunle amosun sacked 2000 of us because 'we were employed by ogd to disstabilize his government'.

Banks are the saving grace of nigerian graduates. If you get a job in an industry you have heard negative things about, it is only sensible that you take the job offer and see things for yourself. Banking is not as bad as people paint it. Graduates work 8am to 6pm for below 40k monthly, so tell me why such graduates would turn down offers of over 150k for jobs of 8am to 7pm. I am sure those banks would not have offered your friends jobs if your friends had not applied to them.

It should be the same as what obtains in the federal civil service, like 1 mil per annum for graduates.

Unfortunately, that is the reason people dump their children. I cant still imagine why people have kids they cant take care of. The reason may sound incredible to you, but people are poor in this country. The poor keep compounding their problems by giving birth to children 'senselessly'.

The motto of the ACN (Asiwaju Company of Nigeria) is driving people down the poverty line. In Ogun state, ibikunle amosun sacked 2000 youths employed by ogd when he was leaving. In oyo state, ajimobi sacked over 3000 workers for alleged forgery of results. Just yesterday, adams oshiomole sacked 20 teachers for coming late to school, when there are teaching service rules which stipulate the reasonable punishment for coming late to school. Oshiomole did not issue queries to the teachers. He did not hear from them at all. He just sacked them. Now, fashola has sacked 3000 okada riders by destroying their okadas. In nigeria, one working person has an average of 3 to 4 people attached to him because of the high rate of unemployment. Cutting off the head can never be the solution to headache.

I dont know much about gtbank recruitment, but I see no reason why they would not accept neco results.

It may or may not be true, but those who said they have not received their letters on a similar site also did medicals at divine. I am sure we have not been dropped. We can only wait for them to send the letters. That will surely take some time though, because the second batch will start training next week, and the training lasts for 6 weeks.
