I have been having blood in my stool for a while now, though off and and on, also pain in anus, I later checked and discover a small pinkish skin tag causing the pain, each time i go the toilet i feel the skin tag and the pain will last for about 3hrs ,Kindly help. I have also been taking vegetables ,fruits ,pap only for over 3weeks , yet same problem.i do sitzh bath every morning .

See the doctor for a physical examination to causes of blood-stained faeces with respect to the lower intestinal tract. It is likely a pile haemorrhoid. However, seeing a doctor will raise up thoughts for other possible differentials.

For the now do as you have been advised by others having similar problem.

My period always comes with migraines before, during, and after. I took paracetamol for a few days before it went.

The chest pain came after i ate beans while lying down a week ago. I dont think it is related to the migraine.

I dont know about ulcer but I've experienced indigestion and what think is acid reflux after eating certain things but never serious. It just goes away on its own. This is the longest duration and the first time i have had to take medication

What if you were open to the idea of prophylaxis to this migraine before your menstrual bleeding comes just as a prevention?

Since you have started having such things, If I were you I would have myself open to have a simple Urease breathe test for Helicobacter pylori to know if this can complicate to Peptic ulcer disease.

In other hand, when this episode of indigestion comes again don't use an antacid, either use any of those drugs as Cimetidine, Famotidine or Ranitidine. The use of Proton pump Inhibitor and Antibiotics is also a great idea.

These should be taken on prescription bases.

It is not necessary since you are not sexually active unless your doctor request so, he or she should tell you why a pap smear should done before having the vaccine.

yes sir menstrual migraine. It has gone away except a little occasional faint headache. The chest pain just started going away. When i feel the gas trying to come out, the chest gets tighter. But i burp when i walk around and when i drink water and it hurts when i swallow or inhale deeply. I've been using antacid.

Is this your first time experiencing a migraine during or after your menstruation? What did you use to reduce symptoms?

The chest pain came soon as you started the treatment for the migraine headache or, it was something associating with it before treatment?

Do you have problem with indigestion or peptic ulcer disease before now?

Culture yielded: yielded scanty growth of staphylococcus specie after 24hrs incubation at 37°c

Also....no hepatitis

Malaria seen with typhoid also.....

I have to cut off alcohol totally I guess

Treat your malaria and typhoid;put a stop to your alcohol drinking and one month later, you may try to run a Plasma cholesterol/triglyceride profile to know how much it has improved. It is normal to have a scanty growth of staphylococcus aureus even in the most healthy person. Don't bother about that.

You will be fine. I am positive about it.

I had sore throat some weeks back, took drugs prescribed by doctors and it worked. I have been sweating excessively throughout the day especially after doing little work even after walking a certain distance. Thyroid function test is to have knowledge of your thyroid activities and to know if a low thyroid activity could have been responsible for this.
A low blood sugar can come up with such complaints too. So, it is necessary to your blood glucose for the now, though I feel it is okay.
WBC and RBC count and differentials is to know if there are any cases of anemia, infection or even allergy.

Okay. But you really have to see the doctor if this has been on for a long time. Some of these symptoms are transient and with good rest and less stress the body will get its proper shape and function.
However, if this cold intolerance and other symptoms such as her's continue apart from the pain, you likely may want to repeat same test I advised her to.

Manaan, we advise you have your sister taken to the hospital for proper evaluation to that mass. It is all that matters, the cause of it will determine if treatment will be non-surgical or not. Getting better is all that matters at least.

You didn't mention the names of the drugs given to you by your doctor. Tell us please.
By the way, you really have to stay with what the doctor has said so far until your day of physical examination at the surgery clinic or ward. This means, though the sitz bathing ain't cool and soothing as expected, just manage. Also, how many minutes do you sitz bath? Content of your sitz bath fluid?
Take easy going food, eat fiber containing food and vegetables. Should the pain comes too often than expected kindly use some Paracetamol to wear it down. And if it is kind of getting itchy seek your doctor's help for the use of any applicable antibiotics.

You and your girlfriend just have to do one more thing to nail this diagnosis to what it is.
Though boil formation at the private part is a normal attribute of Staphylococcal infection but for the sake of antibiotic sensitivity for it, it is expected that both you and your girlfriend have a culture test done which will be confirmed by laboratory biochemical reaction specific for that cultured organism.
When this is done the best antibiotics for this infection of yours will be given. Please follow treatment duration as to avoid wasting the efficacy of the drug.

I expected the right diagnosis was done and it was Athlete foot as you presumed. If this is not true, kindly have that person meet with a doctor to know what the real health situation is.
But if it is exactly what it is then the following applies:
1) Avoid tight and wet shoes for the now.

2) Avoid walking barefooted.

3) Let the affected foot be clean and dry as possible as you can.

4) Wearing of warm socking to avoid moisture may be necessary.


Drug:

Topical application of Clotrimazole cream for 1-2weeks.

The condition has a name. The patient needs help. Why waste their time when we know what it is? People don't know the name and therefore they cannot treat and that's why she has been suffering. You cannot treat what you don't know bros.
This is a case of dyslexia caused by brain damage. The info is enough for a diagnosis. If you probe further you can find out the cause.

The problem is not to give name to the situation at hand, it is not to acclaim a full stop command from here too. How do you know she or he has a brain damage? How can you diagnose someone with Dyslexia without a physical examination?
Let that person see a doctor and let him or her be examined properly as it should.

Hi docs, I am 40W5D today, I had a membrane sweep/strip done yesterday by my doctor

Afterward I felt cramps in my lower abdomen and also noticed blood stained mucus like discharge. He said if I do not go into labour within 72hours of the sweep, then it didn't work.

How effective is it in inducing labour. Also I am Rh Negative, hope I don't have to worry about bloody mucus causing sensitization.

Esheva, you really have to buy the idea of eating properly especially avoiding the hunger contraction stimuli that comes with hunger before going for a meal. Though the pain is independent of this little practice in some person, who among us can tell the difference if you stay at it for a while. Me? No! Only you can.
