Because it must have been since primary school where he steals Pencil, biros, etc. as the mom you should have noticed your son with more than one Pencil of which you can identify the one you bought for him. You should be very observant with the slightest things with kids. Taking he small things like balloon that doesn't belong to you deserves severe punishment.

Child upbringing is really hard especially when they grow up to become teenagers. Only God can help raise a child. I really feel for the mother, don't neglect the place of prayer and always advice the child, provide him with what you can afford that he needs. Some little children even steals to provide themselves with what they need.

Imagine an eight year old kid that forgot his pen at home and is fully aware of the punishment that comes from the teacher for coming to school without a pen. The next thinking that might spring up in his head may be to take that of his classmate to avoid been beaten. At the end of the day he would most likely not return the stolen pen.

Maltreatment Of MTN Call Center Agents At Mayfair Gardens

''I work as a customer care representative for Mtn Nigeria which was contracted for Communication Network Support Services Limited (CNSSL at Mayfair Garden Ibeju Lekki) we have always been told from the onset that we are not full staff of MTN Nigeria which we acknowledged but MTN has terminated the Contract CNSSL partly and now contracted it to a South African Indian company called ISON BPO. We've been maltreated badly.


The termination took effect on July 31st, we were re-issued another 3months contract letter from same CNSSL. before the termination of appointment, MTN who is the principal partner already sent a mail to all of us that our Unspent Leave days will be monetised. Gbenga Adebayo who is the CEO of CNSSL, paid nobody nothing and we have been working for 3years and (we have been confirmed as a full staff with letters), took up all our Unspent Leave days and cancelled them all. from August 1st to Oct 31st which the new contract states, we will not be going on Leave.
Those of us on Maternity Leave were asked to resume, even if u had the baby a day before or face been sacked I have a two weeks old baby and am working to support my family, so I can afford being sacked. But the stress is killing I leave home 4:20 everyday and get home close to midnight, except on night shift I can't even continue breastfeeding my baby, Our HMO has been cancelled. We were left with nothing after which he's sub contracting from ISON BPO for the period of 3 months (1st of August to 31st of October) We would be paid just our normal salary which is 75,367.05 Our work time has been unjustly increased from 5hours 20mins to 9hrs with one hour break which is unfair to us. This increase is only applicable to those in Mayfair Gardens, Ibeju Lekki, meanwhile most of us stay on the mainland, All other call centres (Apapa, Ikoyi, VGC), still run the normal shifts as usual. MTN has abandoned us and now we work like slaves. We can't talk because if we do we would be sacked, alot of people have been sacked unjustly. We're expected to pick calls and speak with 194 customers for the 9hrs. And for the night shift speak with 228 customers in 12hrs.

This is injustice.

While the stress is killing alot of us, we cant enjoy the free medical care because of the cancelled HMO. This is slavery I hope we would be saved from CNSSL/ISON BPO before its too late. This silence is long overdue and that is why I am sending this mail, Indians are here on Nigerian soil, slaving us and using our money to en-rich their lives. This must stop.

The MTN staff in south Africa recently protested for salary increment. We are not asking them for too much, all we ask for is our normal shift hours and for them to put an end to this madness''.

I saw a documentary some years ago , can't remember the name, but it was about roads built in America in the 1920's or so that are still in perfect conditions today. Upshot is, roads can last long. Roads built in Nigeria are deliberately substandard for the purpose of generating contractors money, climate has little to do with it.

I haven't a clue about road building so don't laugh when i suggest maybe we should construct our roads using steel sheets. Expensive in the short term but money saving long term. Just think, roadside sellers would be able to roast yam and plantain on the surface for free and dogs and madmen would think twice before scampering across roads causing nuisance.

The Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, on Monday appealed to the Inspector General of Police to deploy additional 7,000 police officers in the state.
Mr. El-Rufai, who made the appeal in his office during a courtesy call on him by the Deputy Inspector General of Police in-charge of the North West zone, Mamman Ibrahim Tsafe, explained that the state was under-policed and needed more personnel to enforce laws.
The governor said the success of the ongoing campaign against cattle rustlers was a collaborative efforts by five neighbouring state governors, adding that although Kaduna takes the rustlers’ activities personal as it is losing more cattle than any other state.
“We are lucky because 1 Mechanized Division Nigerian Army Headquarters is here in Kaduna and there is our committed Police Commissioner,” the governor said.
He added, “I observed that before the general elections, Kaduna police command was different from others in terms of professionalism and commitment.
“The deputy governor and I will continue to do our best for the police. Kaduna state is under-policed and we requested 7,000 police men and women,we are still waiting and appealing to IGP. Law enforcement will be enhanced and crime will reduce.
“It is easy to blame police without knowing what police DPO faces. We will continue to focus on security,” Mr. El-Rufai said.
On his part, DIG Tsafe commended Mr. El-Rufai, and other governors in the zone for being security conscious and committed to ending cattle rustling in the affected areas.

The Comptroller General of the Nigerian Customs, Abdullahi Dikko Inde, has turned in his resignation letter to President Muhammad Buhari indicating he wishes to leave the job on August 18, according to sources in the presidency.

Mr. Dikko has two years to the expiration of his tenure, and it is unclear why he has decided to go in one week’s time. Our sources however note that several Customs leaders are currently being investigated for corruption and some may be fired or arrested.

President Buhari is reportedly looking to fill Dikko’sposition with a Customs officer from the South-South.

It is understood that President Buhari had earlier turned down the resignation letter, asking Mr. Dikko to give him time to study the Customs and its operations, but that he has now accepted the resignation.

SaharaReporters learnt that the President, whose tenure has seen officials of several government agencies turning in similar resignation letters, has resisted such attempts. Our sources say Buhari prefers to watch and then fire them the way he did with former NSA Sambo Dasuki and military Service chiefs recently.

It would be recalled that in 2009, one Olajide Oyewoleaccused Alhaji Inde Dikko of having forged his academic credentials with his help.

In a video testimony obtained by SaharaReporters, Oyewole said the Customs boss illegally obtained Certificates No 10912 and 10993) belonging to the Nigerian Institute of Management, and also forged the West African Examinations Council Certificate No. NGSG 37836, documents that enabled him to eventually become Comptroller-General of Customs.
