kenomobola: I have had a mixed experience with the Redmi note 2, an older MediaTek phone. Xiaomi dropped support for it faster than you would drop a hot slice of yam. They just released source codes for that phone this year (2019), after custom ROM developers had completely lost interest. Let's hope there is much better support for the Redmi note 8 pro. Alternatively, let's see what other manufacturers will produce with the new MediaTek SOC.
Source Code for Redmi Note 2 in 2019 Are you for real?!
I speak out of experience too sha coz I used the mtk version of the Note 3 that year
Samyj247: zoho23 don't b angry with ursef. u did the right thing for ur future. the fact that u are scammed doesn't mean that u hv failed. you are far better than those who did not try. I like ur type. don't give up..take more risk.
What sort of silly encouragement is this?
So he should continue trying his luck on Ponzi? Seems you're among the perpetrators of this type of scam
Gptech: The Redmi note 8 and 8 pro remind me of the Redmi note 4 SD and mtk versions, the note 4 mtk had the faster Soc also, we know the end of the story, maybe part 2 of the movie is on the making .
Ifemide123: I'm really sad about this. I have a shop I run here so except I get a good job outside our town I can't just leave. The best bet is to rent a place and stay on my own but No! I am not married so why should a single lady live alone in same town with her parents? Yet they won't give me the freedom I should have. I can't stay beyond 7 outside, I can't visit a boyfriend in his own town too.
Why are you in such a haste to go meet a guy? That does not only reek of desperation but also means you dunno what you truly want at the moment. You even run a shop but you're giving the impression your parents don't let you go outdoors or interact with people.
As a man I'll advise you as my little sister. First of all no responsible and matured man will pester you to come see him physically by all means especially when a relationship is yet to be defined, laugh at you because you still reside with your parents or discontinue a relationship coz of the above reasons.
Secondly be weary of guys you meet online. The fantasy of dating someone you met online sounds all sweet but 9 out of 10 times they're motivated by getting a piece of what you have between your thighs.
Learn to take things slow, build friendship, observe and study potential guys you'll like to date especially guys within reach. A reasonable guy wouldn't find it out of place to come see you where you reside i.e. shop or home. Am sure even your parents will start getting comfortable that they know the kind of people you interact with.
Gptech: KngGezy, unlike many other threads, we have people using virtually every top brand including Oneplus, Samsung, LG, Realme, Meizu, Apple, even LEeco.. Many here don't just speak without experience, don't need to blow trumpets, but I find that you and some other Samsung users have not even touched a Xiaomi phone before! You sound like one who just discovered how good Samsung is after suffering in the hands of Transsion for years. I wonder how you speak of what you haven't seen or touched. You already praise Oneui as the best for instance when you haven't used others. Remember as a kid, until you visit other schools you'll think yours is the biggest .
Oga GP I got another African proverb to that effect. A child thinks the moon shines only in his father's compound
abdsamad: I just figured out why my Mi 8's battery was a disappointment: the poor glo network on band 3 was the culprit. That was probably the same problem I had with my rn7's battery. Everyone kept praising the battery capacity on those phones yet my own kept struggling to do 10hrs unsupervised.
Mi9t is a fine boy - the smoothness of the network is sweet
I noticed this too. Glo band 28 is still the ish. I guess they introduced the band 3 just to stop being the sore thumb in the 4g LTE landscape
samyd1: I followed these thread very well (months) before buying xioami .....2 things make me to join
1....(truth) I discovered that Many will tell you the best Even if it's not redmi/mi ... Even if na another device... As long as it's value for money....they will advice you to buy
2.... (Free services) Many will Go miles to help you out...
Your number one reason which is value for money is about the sole reason we're all here. Nothing beats satisfaction derived from money well spent
okikiosibodu: Well said. It's about my practise too. But this my RN 7 on 32gb ROM, I feel choked. Almst as if I am using 16gb rom on Os 6. The rate at which apps generate extra data is alarming. You install an app of say 30mb.u nber even open am, e don chop like 60mb... Wey person for say mayb na the data person load on top am. When one now starts to use the app, the data size increases rapidly . I just wish apps could be moved to mmc. *sighs*
Well you can always upgrade rather than be managing knowing you can get something better.
For 2 years timeline to work you've to do proper market research, read reviews and checkout all alternatives etc before making a purchase.
Except of course one "careless" money enter pocket & you decide to spoil yourself
ScotMisile: But, why ddn't his boss just Grant him the loan?. ..Isn't he a staff with the company?
He wants to form boss na. Not justifying the foolishness and greed of the driver but most superiors in Nigerian offices are unnecessarily hard on their subordinates for no good reason.
That being said I think it is about time the death penalty is declared on kidnapping perpetrators and their sponsors in order to stop this menace
jaymichael: You don't see? If you don't damage your phone, how can you replace it 'quick quick' las las, na them go still gain.
Naa, if everyone is like me they would have stopped this madness of flooding the market every other month with new models.
It's a standard practice that all my phones must stay a minimum of 2 years minimum before being considered to be replaced. People need to be less gullible.
Why do you always feel the need to write long epistles
On a serious note first of all lemme ask, have you used a smartphone that supports fast charging and always charge it with a fast charger?
If your answer to my question is yes then you & I know that you can't fast charge it for 30 minutes & then use the phone for 2 days like you said. Even Quick Charge 6 that will be released in the future will not have that feature.
It's obvious you have swallowed the marketing gimmickry of phone manufacturers hook, line and sinker.
Secondly it has been observed over time that continued fast charging depletes battery strength. In case you missed it read comment by okikiosibodu to my initial post on this matter. You can Google it if you're not convinced
They are not if you ask me. Both fast charging technology and fast chargers are overrated and only succeed in adding premium price tags to already bloated smartphone costs.
I don't see what the fuss about coz of a 15-30 minutes charging time difference at the detriment of your battery health even.
GoldHorse: If he was arrested for armed robbery last year how did he gain his freedom? .... then started his serial killing enterprise....
This is the part that saddens me. Obviously the Nigeria Police arrest criminals and let then leave after getting their bail fees. This is why people take matters into their hands with jungle justice because they don't trust the justice system.
If the criminal was prosecuted all these senseless killings might have been avoided.
Ramzyranks: Guys Help a brother. i want to get a new phone. my budget is 120k. i want good Battery life Big Memory Good Camera etc. I don't want Xiaomi that was my last phone.
Then vamoose! Does this look like a phone shop to you?
