But Japanese people are the worst people to fight a war with. Those guys have honor. No matter how short they are. Who because of injury or cant keep up with infantry will use grenade to blow themselves up? lipsrsealed. In a war between just the British and Japanese, Britain alone would have been destroyed, They would have even gone to England to chase the royal family away. grin cheesy. The thing is, how would Japan have been, if they were victorious. Japanese soldiers are the original bad guys. cool

They should start a massive campaign on family planning like they used to do years ago on radio and tv. They should also remember to send the message that smaller families = wealth, opportunity or status. undecided

Pukkah:
^^^Don't we have expired drugs now? In fact, you have to be very careful and know where to go if you want genuine drugs, it's that bad.

Secondly, the agencies have not been banned from the ports but they told them to leave so that clearing of goods can be swift and thus be conducive for business.

Thirdly, are you saying that NAFDAC should return to the ports because Customs is corrupt? I would rather say that Customs should also be overhauled and reformed in order to meet the challenges of today's world.

The reps have merely spoken. They lack the power to return any agency to the ports.

Let's please go for leaner process, afterall, we have been complaining about the high cost of running the government. All these wastes in form of overlap and duplication, which also cause delays, should be scrapped.
I prefer delay than dealing with expired food and fake drugs. Yes, there are fake drugs still circulating, but NAFDAC has done a lot to reduce that. It was an epidemic before. People with terminal illnesses will drink chalk and think they are taking drugs. Expired baby food was in abundance. Life is precious and yes they can stop the move. Kudo's to the reps once again. If i have to wait one month to preserve my life, then i will

5. anti-corruption stances in all sectors of the economy
6. Good jobs available for graduates etc

Politics › Re: Yoruba Afenifere Leaders Paid Solidarity Vist To Gbenga Daniel by 2mch(m): 5:52pm On Oct 20, 2011
I wonder why people are getting angry over Afenifere's moves and tagging it support. Afterall the article says they paid him a visit. The article does not say what was said behind closed doors. Only the fact that they believe with his explanation he should be able to get off. Well let us watch and see, if he is truly innocent, nothing will come of it. Besides he hardly has PDP backing these days, neither is he ACN. So let us see the outcome of all these issues. I think as adults we should know when to make a comment. But this is Nairaland. So the ethnic battles begin. To all those jealous of the SW and Fashola, you can feel free to replicate the same in your region. Yoruba chose their Governors. These Afenifere guys are elders, and should also be respected. They are mostly from that state so they have a right to investigate the situation. I think the present party in the SW have the leadership, but the elders are also important. So both groups of people are relevant and needed.

Simple maintenance issue. They should not lie about poor dam designs to give out contracts to "build" the same dams. I have seen some and it is poorly maintained.
Politics › Re: Nigeria: Outrage Trails Representatives' Move To Return Nafdac, Son To Ports by 2mch(m): 5:44pm On Oct 20, 2011
Good move by the reps. These useless economic theorists wanted to take Nigeria back to the stone age of fake drugs, Guns and expired food. Customs are the most corrupt body in Nigeria. Anything can pass through the ports. The other agencies are good checks and balances. Nigeria is no ordinary country. The economic theorists should know that what works in Oyinbo country will not work in Nigeria. grin cheesy

While JTF were paddling crudely made canoes and dodging mad crocodile attacks, they were truly shocked to find that boys were using sophisticated GPS and flying drones. Amnesty was the best way to surrender. LOLZ!

Anyways, start teaching ya pipul fast, especially the women, they gats to shake it really nicely. Bad boys will need to relax after a hard days slug, injuring hammer wielding almajiri's with computerised drones whilst sipping a chilled beer. grin
We dont give our daughters away to strangers. It is only the ones that will plan to elope to their death, which common sense tells you no one will do. You are fighting people that think 70 virgins are waiting for them in heaven, you think they will be sleeping. Politics › Re: Landslide Hits Enugu After Heavy Rainfall by 2mch(m): 10:54pm On Oct 19, 2011
SE really needs to study their ecological environment. There may be some certain specie of trees that are being cut, which may have been creating a balance in their ecological system. All terrains are different. They need specialists to come and study the problem. It will also help if they can redirect the flow of water, and build dams. Who knows, they can even turn this into a benefit by building power stations through the dams. Seems like a very wet region during the rainy season.

Ah, you have to fight your enemy fire for fire. Hausa/Fulani will not be looking for Garri and Akpu, and Yoruba will just watch from the SW. We shall observe and declare the winner of the war. You better go and exercise in advance and learn to starve to match Fulani especially. This war even seems too sudden and unplanned.

Do you think those people are all Ijaw? Lol!
When GEJ newly took over power and there were problems in the Ughelli area, were those Ijaw people? All ND people are together in our singular struggle against oppression and slavery.

Why are you shaking so hard, sir? grin
Abeg, boys are doing what they wish right now in Waffi and you're here yarning dust. I can see you are praying that your folk will join the fray; well, you are welcome, but una go de back, doing the cooking and singing. What are friends for?
Nutin do you. grin
Friends ke? No come spin that side. You declare war, you fight it to the end. Hausa/Fulani will just clear the road for the 3 big tribes to move in en masse. Instead of una to come together and support fiscal federalism, una want the fastest way to be taken advantage of. The fact is there are great opportunities for the big 3 in this. grin grin cheesy. Go on soun, nothing do you. The long term benefits are tremendous. This is an investment and sacrifice by the ND.
