– Samson Siasia may quit the Dream Team VI after the Rio Olympics

– Solomon Dalung has reportedly been frustrating Siasia’s efforts

– The Dream Team VI coach is silent on the issue as he chooses to focus on the Games

After leading the Dream Team VI into the quarter finals of the Rio Olympics, coach Samson Siasia has threatened to quit the team following the ill treatment meted on him by the Minister of Youth and Sports Solomon Dalung.
A source said: “The coach has been calm because of the players who have endured hardship with the team but he is ready to quit if this unending efforts to sabotage his work does not stop.

“Nigerians should know that a lot of people are working against the U-23 Eagles and Siasia is very upset but he has been keeping his cool and that is why he has not replied any of the accusations coming from the Sports Ministry and the minister, Solomon Dalung.

“Don’t be surprised if by the time the victory dance is over, the coach sends in his resignation letter.

“He has had it to the hilt and is no longer willing to continue.”

A member of the team also said: “Even Mikel that the Minister is always talking to is not pleased with the development.

“If not that Mikel is quite humble and able to manage the situation, the crisis in the team would have become an open issue.

“But each time, he goes back to the coach to pledge his loyalty and explain to him that he was not in support of the Minister’s actions.”

Recall that Siasia recently opened up about being owed five months salary by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and also called for financial assistance when the team were cashed-strapped in their base in Atlanta.

The question is; which Christian was tried according to Sharia Law? Even with the said law against the consumption of alcohol, was any non muslim arrested and tried according to the Islamic law? Regarding the Act against consumption of alcohol, then I must tell u that no Christain will be arrested for its consumption. And if u need to buy, u can always get it from the nearest military barracks. Or are u telling me that since the law was passed, nobody has taken alcohol in Kano? Certainly, u can't tell me that because I'm a northerner.
simple ,if there's a curfew n u breach it would there not b a punishment. ??. For a law to b pass on all citizenry barring their religious affiliations means they are subjected to the same punishment .

My question is this what was she doing where she was caught , though am not in support of excessive beating n others but how many of u will catch ur 15yr old ward having sex n let her go. N the second version of the story is just meant to incur public sentiments no tangible point raised .nigerians can b funny ,yrs later n she don become full blown olosho, the same set of pple will come out to heap blames on her guardians .

Pls can u mention a particular case anywhere in Nigeria in which a non muslim was tried according to Sharia Law?

To a lesser extent, a similar situation has prevailed in Kano, at least in the state capital. While predominantly Muslim, Kano State has a significant minority of other groups. Alcohol has been sold openly in some areas, for example in the area known as Sabon Gari which is populated mostly by people who are neither Muslims nor northerners. However, in May 2004, it was reported that a new law outlawing the consumption of alcohol throughout Kano State, even for Christians, had been passed by the Kano State house of assembly.

The issue is this ,if a Christian committed an offence in a state that practices sharia would he not be judge according to this laws . Would a muslim lady that goes to a catholic boarding not observe the traditions there. ?. Its all about tolerance. You must accept that other people opinion will defer from urs. Was it not here we saw sultan urging Muslim community to deal with anybody that stops them from worshipping. ??

U see how foolish u are. In our days and I'm sure till now, on assembly ground what song do the pupils sing? Ogbanje song or Christian songs? Did Muslims complain? Now, hijab has been legalised and u guys want to kill yourselves. I beg go and then.
Muslims schools no dey, FYI most of these GOVERNMENT OWNED schools were established by Christian missionaries . I went to a muslim sch n we all sang praises to Allah , i dare not complain because i saw Christian based schools n didn't go there. Muslims have been wearing hijab to schools since time immemorial but in islamic schools

Back pain is no tea party! Anyone who has suffered one can attest to this. The maddening pain, the inconvenience, and the general unpleasantness that go with it are better imagined.
Yet, we are all susceptible to back pain for many reasons. According to General Practitioner, Dr. Joke Anifowose, the most common cause of back pain is muscle tension. She says anxiety can increase muscle tension which, in turn, can increase back pain.
She explains, “Our back contains a variety of muscles that are known to tense during stress. This can lead to mild-to-severe back pain in both the upper and lower back. And that is why you have to recognize your triggers and avoid them.”
She warns that while back pain can affect people of any age, it is significantly more common among adults aged between 35 and 55 years. She says any back pain that leaves you sleepless and generally makes life miserable for you should be reported to the physician without delay.
This is because while back pain may be due to benign causes, some back pain may also be an indication of life-threatening diseases ongoing in the body.

C͎A͎U͎S͎E͎S͎ O͎F͎ B͎A͎C͎K͎ P͎A͎I͎N͎S͎

Anifowose says that among people who use steroid or those who abuse drug, back pain is a common travel companion. She adds that those who are HIV-positive and others with compromised immunity are also more susceptible to back pain.
Again, those who have strained their muscles and ligaments should expect back pain as a consequence, Anifowose says.
She notes that many people don’t know how to how to lift heavy stuff. “If you lift anything improperly, or if you lift anything that is too heavy, your back will suffer the consequence,” she says.
She says the condition is common among pregnant women because of the weight of the growing foetus.
“The same goes for those who sit down all day to do their job, as sedentary lifestyle predisposes to back pain. Again, if you are obese, the weight may lead to back pain.
And if you are a gym buff, the doctor says that strenuous physical exercise, especially if not done properly, can lead to back pain

W͎H͎E͎N͎ Y͎O͎U͎ S͎H͎O͎U͎L͎D͎ B͎E͎ W͎O͎R͎R͎I͎E͎D͎

Experts note that just as there are cases of low back pain that should make you run to the hospital, so is it possible to have back pain if you can’t manage your back properly.
Anifowose notes, “Sometimes, back pain may be a warning sign of cancer, an autoimmune disease, or due to spinal cord damage. That is why you cannot neglect a lingering back pain.”
Experts counsel that if back pain leads to weight loss, high fever, swelling on the back, pain down your legs, or if it is due to a blow that you got in the back, then don’t delay to see the doctor.
“Again, if you notice that you now pee unintentionally or if you have difficulty urinating; if you poo unintentionally, and if you feel numbness around the genitals, anus and your buttocks, visit the hospital, as many things may be going wrong already,” she says.

F͎O͎O͎D͎S͎ T͎H͎A͎T͎ F͎U͎E͎L͎S͎ Y͎O͎U͎R͎ P͎A͎I͎N͎S͎

“You are what you eat, says the adage.” Therefore, in order to save yourself from developing back ache or living with one, watch what you eat.
Consultant Nutritionist, Dr. Simeon Oladimeji, says we should eat in less quantity foods that are rich in saturated animal fats such as fatty beef, lamb, pork, poultry with skin, beef fat (tallow), lard and cream, butter, cheese etc.
“These foods contain arachidonic acid, which can cause inflammation in the body,” Oladimeji intones.

F͎O͎O͎DS͎͎ T͎H͎A͎T͎ C͎H͎E͎C͎K͎ Y͎O͎U͎R͎ P͎A͎I͎N͎S͎

The nutritionist says eating low-fat foods or non-dairy foods will reduce the possibilities of developing inflammation. Such foods include oily fish such as herring, mackerel, sardines and salmon. Again, he urges the consumption of low-fat or no-fat dairy products, lean cuts of beef and pork, and skinless chicken and turkey.
You may also have to ditch processed or white flour baked goods such as cakes, donuts, etc.; and excessive eating of white rice and white bread, which have no nutrients to offer apart from calories that make you fat.
“In fact, processed foods often use up valuable nutrients such as magnesium in the process of metabolising, but have nothing nutritionally useful to give in return. Instead, eat more green leafy vegetables, oats, and beans, as they are rich in magnesium, which encourages the proper absorption of calcium.
“Without sufficient magnesium, calcium may be dumped as painful crystals in and around the joints. Magnesium also helps muscles to relax. People with low magnesium levels tend to feel more pain generally,” Oladimeji says.
Again, instead of sugar, eat more fresh fruits such as pineapple, pawpaw, mango, guava, etc. These all contain digestive enzymes that help reduce acidity in the body.
Drink more water, less caffeine or alcohol, which use up magnesium and vitamins B and C in the body, leading to inflammation.
