The constitution is very tricky about the part it says 2/3 of the majority. IT would have been easier saying 2/3 of the house which will be 73. Now to my own understanding, the constitution is referring to 2/3 of any quorum formed and him Saraki knows. Saraki is not a fool and he is being properly advised by his lawyers as well. That is one of the reasons they fought APC senators sitting last week when DSS invaded the NASS. Now he has gone to court. The same Saraki undermined our law as a country and stepped on it when he illegally commenced a new Assembly without the proclamation of the President of the Federation Republic and became the senate president. IF they want to serve him back the same way, so be it. I am not for jungle justice o but he himself has betrayed his party, his conscience and his country law.

But the constitution was not well spelled out. That word 2/3 of the majority to impeach him is very ambiguous and not self explanatory unless when you push it to the court Nothing stops the constitution saying 2/3 of the senate. Saraki is not a fool and not stupid. He is being advised properly by his lawyers and he knows the stand of law himself. This is the same saraki that commenced a new senate house without the proclamation of the president of the feral republic of Nigeria. I feel they are serving him the same portion he served them. I have a strong feeling the constitution is saying 2/3 of majority that forms a quorum and considering the number of APC senators now, they have the majority as it stands. I might be wrong though.

I don't support all these political fights but if APC senators invade the house without the PDP ones knowing, all they need is 2/3 of the sitting senators that day to impeach saraki. That is the same way he came in. Most of the APC senators were in ICC when he was being sworn in as the senate president. That is why those pdp senators ran to the national assembly the day DSS invaded that place. 2/3 of the number of senators present will impeach saraki and he knows.

NET can exclusively confirm that neither Tekno nor Ciara obtained clearance or permission from Tiwa Savage before infringing on her copyright, a move that has left the talented mother of one extremely aggrieved.

A member of Tiwa Savage’s camp who spoke to us exclusively on the condition of anonymity revealed the level of disappointment she has in Tekno, whom she considered a friendly colleague; not in the least because they both are Pepsi ambassadors and know each other well.

‘We were surprised that they went that route. They didn’t even just sample some strings, the beat and lyrics of the hook are basically the same. Tiwa is extremely upset because it seems like a rip off of her sweat.’

Asked if there were any enquiries from the Ubi Franklin led MMMG, the answer was negative. ‘They didn’t ask or inform us before the song was made. As a matter of fact, we reached out to them when we heard the song but they didn’t do us the courtesy of even responding.

Mountain Black and Med Melon called him out for appropriating their early 2000’s hit Jogodo . Tekno did not deny the charge but soon after was seen with the singers in an apparent reconciliatory mode.

Last year, he was also criticized for interpolating parts of 50cent’s In Da Club in his Go single.
