Am sorry ladies, asmuch as I would love to have you, you keep making me feel I dont belong here, more like an alien.

Even the ones that seem to be good don't know what they want. Being cool is no way to survive their game. Yet, I don't want to be a player. I just checked HIV status which tested -ve.

I just feel my kind don't exist here. I like a very lively and communicative relationship yet they don't want it that way.

As a petroleum Engineer, It is expected that one should understand how oil wells are drilled, cased, perforated and completed for subsequent oil production. It is all expected that one should know how oil is transported from the well-head or christmas tree (after drilling), separated from other impuritiest which it came with to the surface, up to the flowstation and terminals before being taken to the refinery. It is expected that while on the Job, one is also safety consciouse to prevent injuries and hazards. Therefore, all safety rules are obeyed. It is also expect that one know how to operation of drilling and production mechanism, being able to read charts or graph and interprete them is another. etc. Hope I answered your question well. If not please state. Thank you for your time. God bless.

Thanks mycvclinic. I would need your guidance in handful. I made a thread somwhere about my need. I drop the link here so that you can have a look.

I see that you laid emphasis on skills. I am currently doing my HND as a Petroleum Engineering student. The only things I have done are: Took up a job to assist my neighbour, a surveyor, at a project they were carrying in 2008, In 2009 learnt website design using wordpress, I also learnt how to promot websites to gain popularity and traffic and sell products-web marketing. In 2010, I took up a job to sell wines. Can I include these in my CVs? I also know how to make electronic books which publishers can use to sell their books in soft copy. This are what I have done. Currently, while in school, I am in charge of a school fellowship as an usher and choir member. I am also a member of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the Society Of Petroleum Engineers. Can Include all this in my CVs?

Hello house,
Please I need direction because I feel I lack information in this area. I will be graduating next year as a Petroleum Engineering Student from Petroleum Training Institute(PTI) with upper credit,HND.

What should be the next thing to do? I thought of distributing my CV within Delta State, Portharcourt and Lagos and also to submit them online. I learnt that short courses also boost CVs. If that's the case, what kind of short course/ certificate should I go for?

Some folks also said its possible to get a Job abroad from Nigeria. How can this be done with my level of qualification? Though I have been doing some research but all I can see are job offers that requires at least 4 years work experience, which I do not have or can I use the number of years spent in school?

Kindly help me with any information that can help me build my career from scratch. I am the only one that could come this far in education amongst my siblings. Please, come to my aid. I feel a lot of responsibility rest on my shoulders and the thought of it is almost giving me sleeplest night.

Thank you!

Sexkill my question is why would she do this even when she knew that my friend would marry her? Here you are condoning ill-mannered species. Just because some guy behave that way makes right, abi? That's what you mean and don't you deny it!

I did not generalize  my post. Sexkilling,if you see it that way, sorry.

I was only imagining what this girl would go through. First the guy she did it with will dump her. next she would have to wait for another guy to come. She may not even be lucky and so many uncertainy to play with. Do you get the point? I really feel sorry for her.

If a poll was to conducted here on nairaland asking the guys if they would marry their present girl, i bet 80% wouldn't. I hope someone get the idea of what I am saying. Its getting harder to find a guy to get married to and the ladies know the meaning of what am saying. Yet this girl threw away an opportunity.

I understand your point. I didn't mean to make seem that way.

But why would a girl leave a seemly sure guy for uncertainty.

Its really saddens my heart that naija girls are throwing away opportunity at the slightest chance.

I was a victim, mr.chuks was and so was downcasted. The latest is my very close friend.

Among the listed above, one thing is common: they had the plans to marry their girl. . . But the girls in question lost it.

My friend whom, after undergoing a training at a multinational oil company(Exxon Mobil) for one year and half, started dating a girl, pending when he would be called to start work. He and this girl dated and I knew his plan was to marry her. He really loved this lady and cared for her. It was written all over him.

The calls was constant even when MTN came with their magic number.

Two months ago, my friend got a call to start work with Exxon Mobil and off he went. We didn't speak much to each other till we met yesterday and I asked after the lady. Then he dropped the bomb shell.

The lady had s. E .x with another guy and he found out. I was shocked to my bones. He told me she pleaded and he forgave her but he end the relationship immediately and moved on. I really felt pity for that girl and girls of her type because they hardly realise their mistake. Worst is that the guys who they end up s. l.e.e.p.i.n .g wi.th have no plans for them, thereby dumping them later for next chick.

My pain is that considering the economic hardship in this country plus the difficulty to find a guy willing to marry, this girl just lost someone that could have saved her the stress. We are talking about someone earning N500,000 per shift(two weeks per shift).

What a pity!
P.s: This is not a lady-bashing thread. The rate is quite alarming!

TravelGetting A Job In Saudi Arabia--how Do I Go About It? by 2sexy(op): 9:47pm On Nov 24, 2011
Hello house. I am currently studying petroleum Engineering at HND level and would round up in less than 8 months from now.

I hear that some Nigerians apply from Nigeria and they get job outside the country but I don't know how to go about it.

My country of interest is Saudi Arabia. How do I start? What should I equip myself with to get a Job outside the shores of this country?

Has anyone here had or heard anything similar? Please share.
Thank you for your time.

You want payment proof? Did I say I want to sell anything to you?

The links above are from people who have done it and you cant see anything from the above link? Man, I am about to sell mine just by tweaking what you saw in the second link above. You are asking for my payment proof? But do you realise that there are fake payment proof floating the web.

Forget payment proof because I can deceive you with that. Not because I don't want to but what I am saying is that, the fact that someone shows you payment proof does not mean that he owns the screen shot he is showing. It could be a copy and paste and a lot Nigerian guys do it.

Well I use western Union and a friends paypal in U.S.

You know I can't login into the paypal since I don't own it or operate it.

Check the second link from flippa.com and see that it is just 1month and a few weeks ago that domain was sold.

If you feel like talking to me on phone, let me know.

https://flippa.com/2661534-blackberryphones-co-premium-domain-at-1-no-reserve-3-days

just click and see for yourself.

Note that this is not a website,no need for traffic, no need for article writing and or any kind of work. Just the name and you are good to smile to the bank.

But where people, especially Nigerians, make mistake is that they just go about registering any name and end up not making a dime.

There are rules to this business.

Domain names are names which you register first, before you host it. An example is computer.com ,laptop.com, video.com etc.

Most one word domain are taken and have been sold for thousands of dollars. But this does not mean that people do not make money from this.

My pain is that most Nigerians do not believe that it is possible to make money online.

I also saw here on nairaland that someone said that he has tried to sell domain names without success. I will show proof here so that you can actually see that people do it,even now, and they make good money from it.

OP, I remember saying not to accept her back but you have refused to listen.

Everyone here has said the samething and you have refused.

I understand. I did the same when I came to Nairaland to lament in 2 009. They told me to leave the girl and almost everyone did but I refused.

And the girl did another one with another guy and in my presence.
I Learnt from my experience rather than from the advice I got from Nairaland at that time. And that experience has stuck to me like my skin, which goes with me everywhere I go. No wonder they say, EXPERIENCE IS THE BEST TEACHER.

Domain name selling is also known as virtual real estate and its no different from real world realestate biz. And its a multimillion dollar industry.

So, I ask. Has anyone tried this biz without success?

RomanceRe: An Open Letter To The Nice Guy Who Got Heart-broke. . . by 2sexy(op): 4:01pm On Nov 20, 2011
In my own case, my ex thought she was the top. She felt the guy really loved her. The guy f. U. Cked her and she told me. Man, I was crazy. Despite that, she said she wants to come and see me in Benin. I allowed her and at the hotel we stayed, I went to buy some snacks and on getting back, I met another guy with her. She knew I wasn't happy and I went to keep the snack in my room and I came down stairs to get a drink. Lo and behold, this girl left with this dude at 8pm and did not come back till almost 10:30pm.

So, what are we saying guys?

Downcasted, what I did was to analyse the whole thing and it has helped me alot. Despite all this, I chose not to be a bad guy or treat any girl bad because I have a sister and I wouldn't treat any in a way I wouldn't want any person to treat my own sister.

Just apply the ratio as I gave above. In every 10 guys out there, there are only 1 or 2 of me. That will make you appreciate the bad guys who f.u. Ck and dump these brainless girl to teach her a lesson. Hence, she will always regret ever leaving you.

And please DON'T ACCEPT her back!

Downcasted, forget all those cooked up poo she's saying. That guy had sex with her and she is saying the guy would call you? Damn! I could slap that girl. This is what a girl do when she knows that you love her like crazy. She can tell you any lie because she knows you are blinded by love. She knows your achilles hills. I hate girls that play with a guys emotion.

Guys, don't blame this dude. Its really not easy to get out this kind of situation because its his firt love here. I was there and I know how I got out this. I will like to say it couldn't have been easy without you guy here at Nairaland. Back in 2009, Nairaland gave me the needed push.

You won't believe that the idi. Otic ex came begging me like crazy. She begged for months and I told her that I was long gone. After over 6months of begging, she left UNIPORT to come beg me in DELTA STATE in 2011. She was the shadow of her old self when I saw her. Talk about what too much sex can do to lady, humping from bed to bed.
BusinessRe: How Do I Get A GTB Mastercard Online by 2sexy(m): 12:39pm On Nov 20, 2011
@love_decay, the minimum you can fund your card with is N1,000 but that does not mean you can't spend less than that online. If a product that you wish to buy online cost just N500, you can purchase it and you will be left with N500.

The best part is that it is widely accepted than GTB Naira card.

There certain things that you must know. Most Naija girls lack a lot of moral ethics. This not a naija girl bashing thread and I just had to speak up.

Downcasted is being too emotional. One thing is sure, most naija girls do not appreciate the nice guys and so how they often regret ever leaving him in the long run.

One thing that has helped me is when I realised that I am a nice guy and that my type is hardly found out there. It made me proud of myself cos I knew that in every 10 guys out there, there are only 1 or 2 like me and that really made me happy because I knew that the bad 8 guys would f. U. Ck and dump any this worthless girls. I looked around, hardly do any guy want to marry and all they want is just sex and fun. That means the girl will always be moving from bed to bed.

This does not apply to the nice, sincere, down to earth, straight forward ladies out there.
RomanceAn Open Letter To The Nice Guy Who Got Heart-broke. . . by 2sexy(op): 7:02pm On Nov 19, 2011
Dear Heart Broken Guy(Downcasted& MR Chuk), you have been a memory refresher as I read your thread, I remember how I got out of that shackles.

I say kudos to Mr. Chuk for his matured way of dealing with his girl.

But my concern goes to you, downcasted. Really, I was where you are right now just 2years ago and at about the same age and my girl at that time was just the same as yours.

You are giving that girl more chance do what she is doing to you. Being too emotional is BAD and I tell you from experience.

Inasmuch as I want this girl to regret what she doing now,I bet she would if you read me.

Think about this, there are more girls in the world than men. Its a FACT! You are a serious guy with plans but you are only 1 or 2 of you in every 10 guys out there.

That means, that girl of yours will DEFINITELY get F. U. C. K. E. D and Dumped by the 9 bad guys out there. That guy she is crazy about now will surely dump her and so are other to come. Why? Because they have no plan for her.
BusinessRe: How Do I Get A GTB Mastercard Online by 2sexy(m): 10:31am On Nov 19, 2011
Frankly, I wouldn't advice you to go for the GTB due to the charges that comes with it. You may have to open an account with them and imagine how long it will take you to do that. And after you get the card, you cant use it online immediately. GTB require that its card holder activate it for use online at a cost of N3,000 which will not be available to your card. And you pay extra to fund it.

But if you apply for the UBA Africard(a naira VISA card) all you need to do is go to your nearest UBA and ask for the card, but go with a passport photo. and a National ID card, Drivers License, or International passport. On the form given ,tick personalise and get your card exactly one week. And all you will pay is just N1000 and this money will be available to your card and if you pay the 3k to your account, you will be able to use it to buy things online unlike the GtB where the 3k goes to them not you. I get instant sms alert for every transaction made online and web statement of account.
