If we are to go by this, why were igbo descent cut off and added to Urobos and called Delta state, Rivers State and what have you? Those in Asaba speak the igbo dialect and have no link to the urhobos or ijaws?

go to trademarkia.com and upsto.gov( not sure i got that right) there are lots of trademark checking sites

Boss, I think those names were formerly listed by someone else. Contact their support by mail, providing screenshots of the domains in your registrar's dashboard as proof of ownership while informing them that you are the new owner. Please send the email from your registered email with afternic. They will fix it.

you will see "In Review" in your dashboard and if you use their nameserver on the domain, it will not display the appropriate lander that comes with form. What you see is "This domain name may be for sale" with a phone number and no form INSTEAD of "This domain name is for sale"

You guys should check your Afternic Dashboard, some names you listed there are likely still in review stage after several months.

I just checked mine and saw quite a few in that state...

I listed one today and up till now, it it is not yet resolving, even after several hours of sending email to service@afternic.com

does anyone here have a quick fix for this?

I actually forgot to increase the price on Afternic.
Don't know whether to accept his offer or insist on $2000 on Afternic

Long story about this Sale.
I registered it September after someone inspired me by his "Insurance Agency" Sales.
I just registered it reluctantly even after all the appraisal tools I used gave it terrible appraisals..Estibot even appraised it $0.

I sent Multiple outbounds (up to 90 end users)..Not a single reply.
Then I followed up and got 2 offers($45 & $10)
I accepted the $45 though but the buyer refused to pay even after reminders.

Fast forward to first week of December, I followed up the end user that offered me $10 initially with $125..then He countered to $75 which I reluctantly accepted because I was really broke but then, He refused to pay after multiple reminders also.

1 week later,I changed the price to $150 on Epik and sent fresh outbounds to all 90 end users again..still no reply.

Then later that night when I was about to sleep,I decided to check my mail then I saw a congratulatory message from Afternic that the name has sold for $999.
I was shocked because I've forgotten I actually listed it on Afternic also.

The funny thing is that the landing page from the outbounds I sent was to Epik which was $150..I don't know why the buyer still went ahead to Afternic to get it for $999.
I think it was just God's Grace sha.

If you don't want to be scammed, always do a background check on the person you are doing business with. More often than not, he or she will have what we call "online footprints." Scammers have lair you can use to find them out. For example, if I want to do business with 2sexycom because he wrote this post I'm referencing (LOL), I will simply go to Google.com and enter without the quotes "2sexycom sucks" or "2sexycom scam." I will find his online footprints of every scam he has done or failed at on the web.

You'll even discover various tactics, email addresses, nicknames, etc he uses at various times. This is very common with domain appraisal scams. Be warned before you leap!

As a starter in this hustle, what I learnt from beckplanet today and I want most starters to know is percentage of his sales and his portfolio sizes, his sales percentage is below 20 and he had over 300 domains but a lot of starters will buy their first 3 domains, if the domain did not sale they will be discouraged.

I wish someone will do this kind of account with a geo so that most of all that are into Geo will know what to expect.

lol, Beckplanet has another source of income aside domains... that should sink in but you can still do it with high knowledge. You guys should spend more time learning than quickly going off to start registering. I think I spent close to 3 or 4 months reading namepros before the first sale.
