Tell your parent who got upset because of Gold to get you a new husband.

If someone can travel down to US just to see you, then he is real.

So because of gold now una clap down on him. They even send you some items to confirm what they brought was cheap. I thought you said your parent don't wanna sell you....?

God bless that guy for me.

Someone cannot watch por'n in peace again.

If you fight your man because of por'n, what are you going to do if he cheats? Lies? beats you?

Me and ma woman download por'n together, then we compare the quality of each por'n and together, we make decision on the best sites to download the best quality por'ns.

I met him in 2010, and I had to leave for graduate school in 2012. We continued dating and he visited me in the U.S as often as he could. After one of such visits, i discovered he had used my laptop to watch pornography. We had a fight, broke up, then made up again.

I am currently studying for my Doctorate and my greencard application (thru sister) is pending, therefore, i cannot travel out of the country now. So last year we decided to do our wedding in the U.S, and he and his family went to my family in Nigeria to pay my bride price.

My dad gave them a small price because he said we don't need their money and he is not selling me. But the problem was that the boxes of items they were to bring for me ended up being all cheap stuff, not even one single set of gold jewelry. My mum was unhappy and embarrassed, and i was terribly unhappy too. His excuse was that they didn't think the stuff would actually get to me since i am far away. My mum actually sent some of the stuff to me to see for myself. So we got into a huge fight and didn't speak for weeks. I later reached out to try and sort out our differences but he now says that he doesn't want to get married anymore.

I am distraught and embarrassed to even tell my family now because i had to fight for him and stand on my decision despite their hesitations. Is this relationship worth fighting for at all anymore? Do I deserve this after all this time?
You killed off your relationship because of your attitude.

First of all, would you allow material things to deprive you from your own happiness? Secondly, is this guy himself is financially OK? You mentioned you always fight with him, that alone could piss him off or got him tired of the relationship. There is always ups & down in every aspect of life, you are the home maker, call him and express how much you still love him. in addition demonstrate sign of submissiveness to him through conversation. We men are not much different we dont want too much nagging. Most important thing, every insult from a woman is like a bullet in our body. I believe its can still work. Sorry for any error. Form oracle.

I WANT AN INTELLIGENT WOMAN
I WANT A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN

but a woman should not want or know what she wants because she's a woman.seriously. smh

Who said or even insinuated her desires arent valid? Definitely not me. But guess who is the one creating thread on being dumped? grin cheesy If she wants let her fück offff and want someone else and not complicate a poor guy's life.

Her dreams and desires are valid, and so is her boyfriend's.. and his desire right now is for her to fück offf!! Because he's tired of the bulllllshitttttt!!!!

Please next time dont carry your problems into a thread. If the patriarchy has dealt with you, it is not me, ChiefSweetus that put glass ceiling or overruled bigamy. Stick to the topic, Wonder Woman!

OP sounds like a silver spoon entitled petulant nag with snobbish mother who didnt work hard but became proud when her gentle husband hit gold.

Mother wants society wedding with Chief & Mrs Bleep's rich and handsome son.

OPs boyfriend is selfmade. His monthly earning is about 600k right now.. but they dont know he's going to be way more successful in 10yrs. Even if they know, they dont care.. they want their sweet and intelligent USA PHD daughter to marry into old money or "pedigree".

OPs boyfriend is finally realising the truth. There will be no happiness with an insatiable horror of a mother in law.. and a naive nagging entitled sanctimonous princess bride who doesnt even suck dïckkk. grin

His ego has kept him in the relationship thus far because he enjoys his friends telling oboy your babe set.. fine girl, rich family, even if she no sabi cook baba una go hire maid.

Also, OP is Roman Catholic and boyfriend isnt.

If I'm wrong on any of these I'll delete my NL.

eyah sorry oo...

Long distance relationship is a fragile relationship, and so many people fail to understand that, it is very easy for one to opt out because He MUST be getting attention from female folks around him, trying to please him, (even a 'almost broke' dude with average obasanjo look do) and someone somewhere is making him sad...

So try not to pick quarrels as often as you are displeased about a thing.

Wish you the best, i know how painful this experience is.

exactly my thought. If you fight to make him committed you Will keep fighting and begging for him to be committed or stay committed. You don't want anybody to make you feel like he's doing you a favor for marrying you
Was there any point in the over hype girl post where she said the guy is not committed, a guy that flies to US just to see his babe deserve an award, am sure the guy is not a gold digger and has something going for him, no man wants a wife that nags on trivial issues and make him feel cheap. The guy better run for his life and up his game, the family has indirectly rubbish him. Am sure wherever the guy dey, I pray God enlarge your hustle and give you a good lady with better family. Amen

and who said Gold is usually part of the items presented for engagement, what part of the country are u guys from.

I did my wedding and was not asked to bring any gold item. Except this was spelt out clearly in your list.

To be honest it is difficult to say where the problem is from but i dont think the issue is far from materialism.

Always think about the marriage and not the wedding this is the mistake most ladies make.

I almost broke up with my fiancee during courtship cos of this kind of issue, but thank God, it was even her own parent that called her to order.
