@dupyshoo, greetings: Thank you very much. @optionese: I attended OOU but this current ECA request is for my MBA which I did at Lautech. If I understand you well, you collected your transcript in person and sent it through FedEx? |
aumoria:You may quote them and request that they modify their initial posts (thereby removing the figures). |
@boldinc, GrandCommander How often does Ontario select from the pool? Was it a one off selection or they do so at intervals? Would appreciate your feedback. I am expecting my IELTS results in early March and want to determine if it's something my wife and I can work with. |
raymege:Did you use it for WES? I just used hellofax to send an application to IQAS. Has anyone used hellofax to contact IQAS before and how did it go? |
Baroba:@bolded: which phone is that? |
GrandMufti: ![]() Any recommendations? I am open to suggestions, even if it's not Xiaomi. I want to add SD card to my RN3 Pro, so I am going to need a new phone soon to accommodate the second sim and another line. |
@Baroba @GrandMufti Thanks. Seems I might have to consider Infinix Note 3 ![]() |
vosquare: ![]() @all Which Xiaomi phone has double-sim card slots AND at the same time, a dedicated SD card slot like Infinix Note 3? cc: Gptech, GrandMufti |
MyMail2D:Yes you can. Go back to the comment, click on "Modify", make necessary changes and "Submit". |
@bellong Kindly ignore any comment that you find insulting. Don't allow it to dampen your kind spirit. The vast majority of regulars on this thread really appreciate your selfless support. |
@primeson1 Sorry about your cracked screen. Once you get it repaired, please buy tempered glass. I almost got a cracked screen last week but the tempered glass saved the day. I even have an extra. @initialize: Any original screen for this member? |
Gptech: ![]() Meanwhile, my RN3 Pro has been updated to Stable 8.1.2.0 Noticed that most Xiaomi phones are sold out on Gearbest and Aliexpress. Have you observed this? |
Page 296? Wow! This thread is really growing. I have a lot to catch up with because the last time I checked in, it was page 200 ![]() @Gptech, GrandMufti, quivah, Worksunlimited, I hail o ![]() |
bellong:Hi boss, please I need a little clarity@bolded:Are Masters by research and PhD free for PR holders? Upon arrival in Aussie, at what point does one qualify for this? |
Congrats @Gymme ![]() |
@Garykasparov @raymege Thanks for the insights. We started the process before the information became available to us. @raymege My wife too feels that ICAN really needs to up their game! ![]() |
MissMoroti:You can visit the following threads for guidance. Meanwhile, please use Google to your advantage. I am talking from experience. https://www.nairaland.com/3069963/how-achieve-ielts-general-training#52546839 https://www.nairaland.com/2426588/preparing-ielts-get-here/53#2426588.1726 |
@wunmimi Thanks for sharing your experience. We are actually looking at another way to increase our scores. @our new members, as it has been stated severally on this thread, you are encouraged to take time to read the first few pages of this thread, if not all. We really need to invest in reading. No short cuts! If you can dedicate a weekend to read the entire thread, you will be so empowered that you would not need to ask so much questions or ask people to drop their phone numbers or emails. Imagine people still asking questions like: "Is it necessary to do ECA and language test before creating EE profile....." etc. This was clearly explained on page 0. Another suggestion: At the top of the Nairaland page is a feature named "Search". You can type any keyword there and it will bring up related comments. You would be amazed to see the wealth of information that you can gather that way. Example: Type "gift deed" in the search area and see what it brings out. You can even limit the search to a section, in this case "Travel" section. Please be generous enough to share your experiences along the way and timelines when ITA eventually land ![]() May all our positive expectations for this year be fulfilled. |
Bimpsy99:Thank you. We evaluated our BSc degrees with ICAS way back 2015. WES came into the picture in early 2016. It was an attempt to increase CRS score by assessing ACA since ICAS doesn't evaluate professional certificates. The idea was to claim "2 or more certificates" but I later found out on this thread that WES has not been nice to holders of ICAN qualifications. At this point, we have nothing to lose having made payment for the evaluation nearly a year ago. |
Gymme:Very unfair. They have a bias for ACCA though. |
aumoria:**Modified #XX is the discount value of your investment. The difference between this and your #Bleep bid is the upfront interest that has been left in your account. At maturity, you get the face value of #Bleep. Happy investing! ![]() |
@SlowlybtSurely, Gymme, Wunmimi, Bimpsy99 ![]() Thanks for your concern. We are not evaluating WAEC! Sometime April/May last year, my wife requested for an assessment of her ACA. They further requested for her Senior School Certificate. Note that they specifically requested for this and we complied but still no response for them. Negative feedbacks about them in respect of ICAN qualifications also made us not to exert energy in that direction. She has actually "forgotten" about it until recently when she got their mail that they have accepted her ICAN qualifications for assessment but she should get WAEC to send the documents directly to them. |
My wife has a pending assessment with WES. Please see reason provided by WES as the cause of the delay below; "The document was not received from the institution or the appropriate examining body that awarded the degree/diploma as required by WES." This was their further instruction: "Please arrange for your academic documents to be sent directly to WES by the institution or examining body that awarded your degree/diploma." Has anyone been able to get WAEC to send their examination results for the Senior School Certificate directly to WES? Does WAEC respond to enquiries from foreign assessment bodies the way our universities issues transcripts? Any useful contacts at WAEC please? |
WoodcrestMayor:CBN no try at all. Why wait till this evening before publishing the stop rates on their website? Their ICT unit needs overhauling ![]() |
feelamong:Sorry boss. I almost missed it too. Eventually went for 18.4% on 364 days instead of the initial 18.35% proposed though I was tempted to follow your lead i.e. 18.5%. Just got a debit alert from my bank. Heard they went for 18.36% ![]() If the rates at the secondary market are not attractive, 2 weeks is almost here. @zamirikpo: Congrats. |
Nice |
Blessedgurl:Generally, the minimum amount should be N100,000 though there has been feedbacks from members that some banks stated higher amounts such as N500,000, N1m, etc. You need to find out from your bank regarding their position on this. Currently, I use Stanbic IBTC and Union Bank for my Tbill transactions. So far, there has not been any major issue. Some members here too have spoken well about other banks. The key thing is to familiarize yourself with the basics as it has been proven over time that most branch-based staff have limited knowledge of this "market". Knowledge is power. This thread is more than enough to equip you. |
chuglothen:In that case, I think you should take a close look at NOC code 6551. Seems to align more with your job function in my opinion. Check my previous post for the link. |
