peppers: Hello House, so I am extremely bothered about this link I just read. http://decisions.fct-cf.gc.ca/fc-cf/decisions/en/item/223933/index.do
Please read it.
It's about a Gtbank staff, Infact 2 that were banned from Canada for 5 years because of misrepresentation.
So my question is, please is ther anyone's on this forum that worked with Gtbank that is successfully in Canada or does anyone know anyone? I am extremely bothered. The thing is the bank does not give a letter stating what we do, just our level. Please read and advise o beg you. I am confused. I was initially speechless just like @dannio but then, I am aware of a GTB staff that has successfully relocated to Canada. IMO, you don't have to be "extremely bothered". This incident should be an eye opener to the rest of us, especially those working in the financial services industry. Like @seedgie observed, it could be a case of NOC mismatch plus apparent submission of letters that did not originate from GTB's HR. Note head office's reply; "please note that the letters were not signed in line with the Bank’s mandate and as such we are unable to confirm same”.This made the visa officer to conclude that the letter was fraudulent. This shows that they do confirm, at least, some of the supporting documents post-ITA. We must try to be as honest and transparent as much as possible to avoid a whopping 5 year ban. If a letter/document is not obtainable, we can get alternative documents to support our claims and do a LOE. cc: dupyshoo |

cookies: Hi all, please in the IELTS speaking test is there any right or wrong answer? As long as you speak on the topic given even if the point you are trying to make isn't correct? Just want to have it in mind as I prepare. There are no wrong or right answers. What matters is your ability to "flow" on the topic, so to speak. Even if you are talking "nonsense", just try to be fluent and use good grammar. One trainer even said that nobody cares if you are lying, just stay on the topic Don't worry about going overtime; you would be stopped anyway since the session is timed. You should not give the examiner the impression that you have nothing to say. It has also been said that vocabulary matters too, so you can try to beef up your vocabulary. |

virtual3xpert: Most Australian assessing bodies follow the AEI-NOOSR CEP which is done according to institution. Institutions can fall under section 1 or section 2.
For section 1 Institutions, BSc (4 or 5 years) is equivalent to an Australian BSc degree while for section 2 Institutions, Bsc (4years) is equivalent to an Australian associate degree but a 5year BSc degree is equivalent to an Australian BSc degree.
Simply put, if your institution falls under section 2 and you studied for 4years, you'll most likely get a negative outcome. VETASSESS follows this to the letter. The others, not so much. Thanks for this information. Please share the link whenever possible. Looping: vcole |

Well said @timbros @ToriBlue, Xiaomi phones have come to stay. It is not for nothing that they are called "Apple of China". I was like you until sometimes last year that I got my Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro. There is an Infinix phone in my house but i can tell you that my RN3 Pro is more durable. Besides, I discover interesting features on it from time to time. Open your mind! cc: GrandMufti, Gptech |

I received expression of interest from Ontario but I need an urgent response on how to draft a gift deed and to whom it will be addressed to.
Thanks Hous This issue has been addressed severally on this thread. Use the search tool at the top of this page to Google "gift deed". Check the ones that appear in the Travel section, particularly this thread. By the way, when did you get your NOI from Ontario? |

cookies: Thank you. Please which other payment method can you suggest? My naira debit card is declined because it's above cumulative limit and I don't have a dom account. If you have a friend/family with a foreign currency MasterCard, obtain FX from the parallel market and fund the account tied to the card with USD, then make your payment. Also, you can use the credit card of a relative who is resident abroad. cookies: Please is it only a soft copy of my ECA I need? Meanwhile the total to pay for IQAS is $275 thought I read here $200? $200 is for the actual assessment while $75 is for courier charges for applicants outside Canada. $15 is the cost for within Canada. If you have a relative in Canny, you can use his address for the collection of the hard copy and pay just $215 since you should still get a soft copy anyway. |

Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by 40manlappy: 8:36am On Mar 09, 2017 |
@MummyJaygirls: I have two suggestions for you;
1. Ask your UNILAG contact to give you the tracking number so that you can verify and contact IQAS with the information.
AND/OR
2. Call IQAS on +1 780 427 2655 to confirm if they have received your transcript. Make sure that your Transaction ID is handy before you make that call. Remember that we are ahead time-wise to guide on the best time to make the call.
IQAS did not acknowledge my transcript until I put a call through to them even though it has been received by them 7/8 days earlier. Bear in mind that they are currently handling an unusual volume of applications. That may inform the increase in their processing times from 10 to 15 working days. |
