As for considering CA, my qualification as ATS holder cannot suffice as Financial Reporting and Mgt Accounting are not part of the courses taken in ATS, though I could get Financial Mgt from my M.Sc Banking & Finance? How do u see it?

I think it is worth giving a try but I can't say that authoritatively.

If it were VETASSESS, would have advised you to try their advisory service that has now been rebranded to "Skill Assessment Support".

That will save you unnecessary expense.

1. Based on what we know so far, VETASSESS start counting experience from your last qualification.

2. IMHO, what is crucial is the content of your job description(JD). Confirm if it aligns with the JD of your nominated occupation as per ANZSCO.

3. Statutory declaration should be okay supported by the other documents that you mentioned.

4. I suggest that you evaluate with your MSc. Gurus in the house can talk more on this.

5. Add your ATS certificate. You may also consider CA cc: angiesteve, kubbiebrownie

6. Go back to page 0 and review yourself point-by-point based on the general criteria.

Purchased a voucher from a PTE staff. It is cheaper that way.

Wifey scored Listening-80, Reading-74, Speaking-65, Writing-88 in December.

Retook the test yesterday after a very vigorous preparation and got the following;

Listening-90, Reading-76, Speaking-90, Writing-90

Good morning everyone. May all our positive expectations for 2017 be fulfilled.

Has anyone gotten an "upward" rescore on PTE-Academic? My wife wrote the test in December and got the following:

Listening-80, Reading-74, Speaking-65, Writing-88

She prepared very vigorously and retook the test yesterday and got the following;

Listening-90, Reading-76, Speaking-90, Writing-90

At this point, I find it very difficult to even ask her to write the test again. She even made me promise before the test not to push her to rewrite the test if it doesn't swing to ''Superior".

She really pushed herself to the limits on this new test in spite of a very demanding job, so I can understand how she feels right now. Besides, we also expended a fortune on online preparation materials.

The results would have been ok if it was merely to obtain 10 points i.e. Proficient English. She already had 10 points from IELTS-Academic; we explored this option to get additional 10 points and increase our chances of getting ITA in view of the stiff competition in her nominated occupation.

Accountant (General) is on pro-rata, so the earlier one can get ITA, the better. No one knows what the position may be from July 1, 2017.

I have ALL the documents required for a VETASSESS assessment. I know we can claim partner points (5 points) upon a positive outcome but we felt that PTE-Academic is a faster, cheaper and more productive (10 points) option.

Suggestions and advice are welcome. God bless you all.

Yes indeed this is still on lollipop. The Chinese MM updates were released as beta stable rom, late November - while that of global stable was released first week of December as 'beta stable'. But it has been released as global stable since 2nd week of December. I was shocked when @40manlappy said he just got his chinese MM update for rn3 pro on Monday 26th December, which is rather strange because xiaomi normally releases Chinese updates before global updates. For example, I went from 8.0.6.0 (lollipop) to 8.1.1.0 (MM). But you are ahead in terms of lollipop (8.1.3.0).

You can exercise patience till next week, at least you are now getting updates as you confirmed. I guess the initial updates were pulled down.

VETASSESS wahala is "four" much sef.

During the holiday, I used the Nairaland "search" feature to check mentions for VETASSESS and it brought out 20 pages.

Come and see lamentations upon lamentations. That body no try at all.

However, reading through the entire 20 pages gave me some insights which would be useful should I go ahead with the assessment .
