software:bros no long thing. A girl raises her voice against me in public its bye bye. I fully expect a girl to do likewise. If you cant respect her outside neither will you respect her inside. Cassiel:At which point? Pouring juice on his crotch? ![]() |
@ debosky . . . at this point i must say i support leaving the guy. A man who will yell at you in public while still ur boyfriend . . . dont call me when he starts actually beating you when you get married. |
Cassiel, u're gambling on the possibility that the guy doesnt have a violent streak. I personally wont advise my own sister to fight in public . . . use ur legs . . . some men can be unpredictable. |
morenike09:no be ur fault ![]() morenike09:now that's what i'm talking about. |
morenike09:after u'll come moaning into my ears. @ Cassiel . . . you're simply assuming this "guy" will watch u pour juice on his pants and do nothing? A man who is not restrained enough to yell at you in public will not think twice to give you a good bollocking after that. What does the nollywood script say to do next? I once watched a man whip his wife mercilessly in public . . . the woman was running naked for dear life and everyone just stood by and watched. Even if that woman had a gallon of juice i doubt she would have tried ur "remedy". |
Cassiel na people like you i dey avoid. Controlled violence can turn to acid bath tomorrow . . . done quietly while the guilty partner is asleep. Morenike oya lets have a public fight. ![]() |
morenike is still living in Alice's wonderland. Cassiel:I thought you were the one defining what a "real man" would do if his woman insulted him in public? why is a woman allowed the priviledge of "controlled violence" and the man is not? |
Cassiel:I beg to disagree. they say when your chasing a mad man for ur clothes . . . no one can tell who is mad of the two since u're naked. It takes a lot of guts and maturity to walk away without doing anything. |
ayinba1:I love how you never answer any of those questions but rather prefer to insult those whose opinion differs from yours. I'd really love to see you one day engage the topic instead of hounding me for my opinions. Did i insult you or even refer to ur person at any point in this topic? If i "sound dumb" why dont you just show me those places where i do so with clear evidence to the contrary? I asked a pertinent question . . . where is all the millions of dollars in aid to Gaza going? Why cant Gazans get food and yet can procure 50 rockets a day? |
Cassiel stop watching too much nollywood. ![]() |
nwando:na today we begin dey warn them? I saw two "doctors" come visit once while i was in Yola . . . they looked like dusty long distance cattle rearers! I had to go to the hospital there to take a vaccine, the place would just about qualify as a dispensary and that is talking about a whole "Federal Medical Center". |
Instead of the Bauchi government encouraging its own citizens to go to school. I dont blame them, oil money has spoilt everyone. If the tax payers had to cough out the "fantastic remuneration" for those Egyptian doctors we wont need to remind them that doctors dont spend learn their trade by following cattle. |
Radiant:you bet. D-reloaded:Really? I have one in my family and i'd wager there are tons more of such marriages . . . |
just plain silly from both of them. |
JosBoy4Lif:Josboy . . . you people should stop this hypocritical attitude of reading history from the yr 2000 only. ' When Iraq and Iran were engaged in an 8yr war of attrition that led to the loss of over a million lives was it the US that was at fault? When Saddam gassed the kurds . . . was it because of the US army? Where were you when Pakistan and India came to the brink of using nuclear arms over Kashmir? Bush's fault too? Was the red mosque in Islamabad that housed terrorists built in 2003? Was the Taliban born in 2003? Gaza has NO food but it has enough to fire up to 50 rockets a day into Sderot . . . does that sound reasonable? Gaza has NO food and yet there are luxury cars in Gaza and the palestinians had enough money to buy goods from Egypt just a month ago? Where is all the aid that goes into Gaza from foreign nations? Even if Gaza has NO food . . . who is supposed to provide it for them? Israel and the US? |
tkb417:I think i remember those guys faintly . . . i went to that side once or twice to get some movies. Man e don tey o, i don almost forget every body. I was in the HIV/AIDS CDS wey carry us go village o. Came back after a week and never returned. won fe pa man pikin si ilu Atiku. I will check the yr book tonight! O boy see as this world small reach. Did you know Morgan? Was at FUTY too with one rickety ride. |
Na wa o . . . tkb417:I was in platoon "pipe alipe" 5. No lived far from the airforce base . . . Federal medical center doctors quarters na there i base o. I remember Chimoney, the rest i cant fix now . . . dont think i met any Zara chic. Man wetin be ur name sef make i go look that yr book again. What zone was FUTY sef? we used to have this zonal meeting of FUTY pips then, maybe ur face dey there. |
tkb417:o boy! Where you at NCCF at any time and what platoon where u? |
ayinba1:1. Are you sure the majority do not sympathise with Israel? Where you sleeping when Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama made it VERY CATEGORICAL that America is a staunch ally of Israel during their last debate in Ohio? If "majority of Americans" do not sympathize with Israel neither of them would have done so. Besides . . . . what truth? The same arab propaganda that is being bandied as the "truth"? Keep living in denial. YOU are the one being left behind. The world is tired of mus'lim violence . . . is it any surprise that no major world power is interested in Darfur anymore? Is it anymore surprise that NO world power is interested in dabbling into the intractable Palestinian problem anymore? |
ayinba1:Same ol' same ol'. Dont you people get tired of shutting others down when they say things that dont necessarily agree with ur warped sense of judgement? |
tkb417: I love everyone with the love of Christ. Yeah i was at Yola . . . Batch B Sept 2004 - June 2005 pahtahkee:The star of David. |
Islander:No problemo . . . get well soon anyway. |
Islander:someone remind me what happened on the other thread last week. Talk of hypocrisy. |
DRANOEL:My dear, did you hear of the mus'lim threat to Seun's life? A bomb blast just killed 24 in Pakistan this morning, 5 US soldiers were killed by a suicide bomber in Baghdad yesterday . . . Gaza is still burning . . . Ask me again what is with me and mus'lims. |
DRANOEL:there is no such "fear" . . . stating an opinion is not an expression of fear or insecurities. The north can preside from now till tomorrow they cant prevent individual southerners from achieving their inherent potentials. Very soon the north will left alone to rue its many wasted opportunities. DRANOEL:You mean the "indices" that your leaders churn out each yr to decieve you? You have a mon-economy that is wholly dependent on crude oil prices that may crash tomorrow and u are depending on bogus figures? DRANOEL:I dont need to be in the country to realise he is just another Shagari in disguise. Plenty of talk and no action. DRANOEL:The greater pity shld go to ur northern elders. It is they who equate oil with "development" (that is assuming they went to school long enough to understand that development is more than just having a fat bank balance). If they had any idea of development they wont be going cap-in-hand every month end to demand their "share" of the revenue they had no part in generating. |
DRANOEL:This is how you gauge the mediocre thinking of the average northerner. If money were the sole criteria for development then Saudi Arabia and the UAE should be the most powerful nations on earth. It takes more than 8yrs to correct the gross mismanagement of the 20 locust years of Shagari, Babangida and Abacha. Besides . . . you make a big mistake when you simply claim that Obasanjo had 10 times more money forgetting that inflation rate now is probably 10 times higher or more and the exchange rate has almost rendered the naira valueless. when Shagari was in power the naira was stronger than the dollar . . . what did he do besides plunder the $3bn external reserve? DRANOEL:What sanity and to which systems? What specific thing has Yar Adua done in the last yr? DRANOEL:Oh pls . . . insecurities? I dont live in Nigeria so why shld i be insecure? Even your northern leaders know the north is nothing but a leech on the backs of the south. |
Ujujoan:You're not making any mistake at all . . . i'm a product of such a marriage. Here's the only "problem" though . . . both of u will just have to put up with speaking english only forever. |
DRANOEL:The sad part is you pple love to live in denial. Wake up from ur mediocrity-induced slumber. From Shagari downward you people have effectively ruined Nigeria. |
Ibime:That is the star of David that just happens to be a part of the insignia on the Israeli flag. It is a christian symbol (of my name) as well as a jewish symbol. MC Usman:why am i surprised? Same old arab propaganda. |
dayokanu:Yes and no. Yes in the sense that it has indirectly benefited the South even more. This singular policy had the effect of driving thousands of frustrated southerners out of the country to seek the golden fleece. In essence we now have a new generation of better equiped southerners. No in the sense that it has simply entrenched a system of mediocrity where Audu knows he really doesnt need to work hard at all. Like one northerner once told me, all he needs is a pass . . . and soon he'd be my boss. |
