Yes and no.

Yes in the sense that it has indirectly benefited the South even more. This singular policy had the effect of driving thousands of frustrated southerners out of the country to seek the golden fleece. In essence we now have a new generation of better equiped southerners.

No in the sense that it has simply entrenched a system of mediocrity where Audu knows he really doesnt need to work hard at all. Like one northerner once told me, all he needs is a pass . . . and soon he'd be my boss.
