Kobojunkie:You live in the US, does Alaska's oil belong to the country as a whole? Can you in your state be demanding for the share of oil proceeds from texas? Is it any wonder African is where it is today . . . backward rules. bawomolo:The FG wasnt signing oil contracts until Gowon ruined our fledgling regional government and Murtala finally nailed the coffin with his nationalisation policy. Oil companies in Alaska deal with the state and not with Bush. They just pay tax for working in the US. |
@ kobo, that was tongue in cheek. I favour Doyin13's ideas . . . To your points: there is no way we can start holding our leaders accountable for every penny spent, look the money they spend is not our taxes but oil money drilled by them and their foreign conspirators . . . why shld they feel the need to explain every penny they spend? Ever heard the term "government money"? Until we relegate oil to the background we will continue with so much motion but no movement. |
doyin13:We can jaw-jaw from now till Christ comes, this is the only solution to Nigeria's problems. |
bawomolo:Why didnt they crumble between 1960 and 1966? Infact this period corresponds to the only time we could regard ourselves as the giant of Africa and on par with the Asian tigers with an economy stronger than that of Japan . . . so what happened when "federal funding" came into play? bawomolo:It will only spark ethnic sentiments from those who have become used to earning what they did not work for. Why shld revenue be allocated to all states? If those states were unviable why did we create them in the first place? In 1960 we had less than 15 federal ministers, and only 3-4 governors . . . today we have 50 ministers and 36 governors . . . why are we worse off? |
we can start by giving 95% of that money to the true owners - the Niger Delta. |
bawomolo:It says nothing of the sort. It merely aims to explain that spiritually and maritally the wife is supposed to defer to the man as the head/leader since no two captains can steer a ship. There were female judges in the bible . . . i doubt they'd be judges if all they were doing was bowing to every idiot in sight who just happens to hav a p enis dangling between his legs. Outside the marital bedroom a woman could as well be ur boss. |
iice:Perhaps u've been meeting boys all along. No real man i know will start off with such gibberish. |
Sorry but is this thread meant to ask a question or a short summary of ur dancing abilities? ![]() I thought SOD was the best at one point but with time i thought Ambassage did a better job. Havent been so much a dance connoisseur but i enjoyed GP . . . you guys did an incredible job. Does Yinka still dance? |
foolishness at its best. |
the ref basically ruined this game from the 4th minute when Adebayor's opener was wrongly cancelled. |
4 Play:We are noticing . . . next season will be radically different as i see Wenger going straight to the market for new players. We need to weed these goons out. Pls what stops us from getting Aguero from Athletico Madrid instead of Bendtner? Maybe Wenger shld retire and we shld get Ramos. |
double post. |
nazzyon:Walcott shldnt be anywhere near the Arsenal team. Pls we have money, time to buy established players . . . look if care is not taken Totenham with Ramos in charge will start challenging for the title from next season . . . see the players he is in the market for. |
kgoddie:let you know what? that the fulltime whistle has already gone? Ol boy na time to bite fingernails and start asking what is wrong. These are the type of games we shld be winning . . . now we enter a rough patch of no less than 6 tough matches between now and end of april. How do we face Chelsea with this form? Bolton should be easy but def we will go out of the UCL to Liverpool. |
leave us alone jo. 4 draws on the bounce is not the end of the world, Arsene Wenger is learning his lesson . . . |

o boy ur name na real wahala ![]() |
1-1 Toure. Game on! |
why o why did i watch this game? See how Liverpool won their own from a goal down . . . we need goal threats in the mould of Torres not Adebayor. |
doyin13:Bros me sef i agree . . . $140m and we did not spend a penny? We need some established wingers please oga wenger . . . We wont win anything with plenty of dribbling and passing. What is Bendtner still doing in a gunners shirt? Eboue at right wing? |
Even my cable has gone on strike . . . satellite problems. |
na wa o. |
Gamine:I'm shocked! ![]() Gamine:You bring it on urself . . . pele. D-reloaded:oh puhlease . . . who is looking for naive women these days? Certainly not me. You can travel the world and not learn anything beyond the names of the world's capital cities. ![]() |
Qur'an 37: 100. "O my Lord! Grant me a righteous (son)!" 101. So We gave him the good news of a forbearing son. 102. Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I have seen in a vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills, one of the steadfast!" 103. So when they had both submitted (to Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice), 104. We called out to him "O Abraham! , 105. "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 106. For this was a clear trial- 107. And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice: 108. And We left for him among generations (to come) in later times: 109. "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 110. Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 111. For he was one of Our believing Servants. 112. And We gave him the good news of Isaac - a prophet,- one of the Righteous. 113. We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to themselves. Here is the problem with the qur'anic description of the sacrifice . . . Ishmael is not mentioned ONCE! Did al'lah also forget him or was his name smuggled out by christian writers? Brings me back to my earlier question: If Ishmael was the true heir, why did God neglect his children for approximately 2600 years? How could God possibly be faithful to Abraham if this was the case? Why did all the prophets (except for Muhammad) come from the line of Isaac? |
D-reloaded:I dont think she's ridiculously naive, i think she's living the life of the rich sheltered child. All she needs is a bit more exposure and she'll be a radically different person . . . there's only so much you can learn cocooned in daddy's house 24/7. |
Gamine:well yeah ![]() |
I'm so used to my laptop that i subconsciously expect the keys to be in exactly the same place when i use another computer. I dont need to look at the keyboard . . . i know where everything is. i call this beast . . . my machine. |

Gamine:You're not "sharing" clothes as such because she cant buy any. Its like a bold statement that u're mine and i'm urs. Geddit now? ![]() Gamine:Get a bf first. and make sure you grow some mammaries in the process . . . |
Gamine:There is a difference between "pants" and "panties". ![]() |
babs787:As at Gen 22, Isaac was the ONLY son living with his father. babs787:No, the only person dubious here is you. This ur analogy makes no sense . . . so if you lived in Japan and your father died (God forbid) you'd refuse to come and bury him because Japan is too far? babs787:This question is appearing twice . . . its a sign of ur own confusion. As at Gen 22 Ishmael had long departed with his mother and several yrs had passed. babs787:No one has ever told you that Isaac was the only son of his father. babs787:Nonsense . . . Isaac was already born in Gen 21. Did the bible writers smuggle his birth into the book of Genesis too? Look at this: Gen 17: (20) "As for Ishmael, I have heard you; behold, I will bless him, and will make him fruitful and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall become the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation. (21) "But My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah will bear to you at this season next year." (22) When He finished talking with him, God went up from Abraham. It cant get any clearer than that except of course to a mus'lim decieved. babs787:You've asked this question a second time in one post . . . a sign that you are thoroughly at sea and grasping for straws here. The bible clearly says that Ishmael came to bury his father and YOU fraud have already quoted it so what other "proof" are you asking for? That Ishmael came to bury his father does not prove that he was the one being refered to in Gen 22 . . . to attempt to link both is to try to pull the wool over our eyes. babs787:What is the purpose of this? Did the qur'an even give any ages at all either of abraham or ishmael the alleged child of promise? Havent you stolen all the facts you scream about from the bible? I ask a relevant question u are struggling to pretend not to see . . . If Ishmael was the son of promise . . . why did all'ah ignore him for 3000 yrs? Why were ALL the qur'anic "prophets" from the lineage of the lowly and unworthy Isaac? |
Gamine:lol pele. put on some flesh . . . i enjoy seeing a woman fill my t-shirt. Cute! Especially if all she has on is the t-shirt and no pants! ![]() |
