stillwater:nothing. ![]() |
stillwater:definitely still live with ur parents eh. ![]() |
If a guy cheats, the first person he tells is his best friend. I wont lie to protect my friend, i wont tell you anything either. |
olabowale:it all sounds so rosy until we dig deeper to ask the pertinent question . . . what "God" is being referred to in both the bible and the qoran? Certainly not the same "God". |
Vicjustice:hush, no point bristling over a non issue. No one is gnashing his teeth over what you "feel like doing" . . . there are people here who call the places you have illegally emigrated to home . . . they don't come splashing their photos all around. This is not about trying not to be faceless . . . its about shameless self promoting. |
the children will most likely stare. Many Nigerian kids never get to see foreigners except on Tv so its always a thing of amazement to see one up close. The novelty wears off after a couple of days and u become "the oyinbo next door". |
sometimes you just have to wonder if this is about photos of great cities or another opportunity for vicjustice to launder his image. |
you'll be treated like royalty. I remember the first white guy that visited our home, i was only 8yrs old then . . . my brothers and i used to go peep at him just to wonder at his skin color and nose. Imagine our amazement when we finally discovered he ate (we thot he was a god!) Oh for the days of ignorance. Nigerians are very welcoming to visitors . . . u shld enjoy a good time there. Welcome to Nigeria. |
these are just horrible . . . no stage presence, no vocal talent. |
that's if Yar a Ill lives long enough to bring exciting times. |
be realistic peeps, the day i love a woman so bad it hurts just being away from her . . . aha i know i just struck gold. |
~Lady~:Excellent statement, that has never been in doubt. Ask them a question and all of them repeat the very same lies as if on clockwork. |
A-40:My feeling too. Venus is even worse. Its about time they quit for something else. |
Not seeing the face of the woman you married? how do they have sex? thru a hole in the wall? |
She didnt have to lie, she could just have easily married another man . . . however the issue is not really about her "lies" but about the fact that judging by her moslem background that lie probably saved her from being just another statistic of honor killings. |
Serena lost again . . . becoming a staple now eh. Venus wont go farther than the quarter finals. Marat Safin is no longer much of a threat, 28 . . . he's just playing to make some more cash and enjoy the game. Sharapova, Ivanovic now have a good chance of winning this. Nadal is just imperious!! |
KAG:if there's any intellectual dishonesty it is from those who erroneously/mischievously assumed "in God we trust" was not used in the US until 1956 and those who dishonestly reference the "treaty of tripoli" to show the US was not founded on christian religion (it wasnt founded as a theocracy). thanks for ur time too. |
African foods may have a lot of fat but we generally burn most of it off. Blacks are more susceptible to high blood pressure and atherosclerosis but that is predominantly among blacks in advanced nations who live sedentary lifestyles. |
KAG:especially as you cant really defend your position beyond posting sarcastic ripostes. |
huxley:Jewish laws may appear in the bible but are not necessarily christian principles. One example - the jews celebrate the feast of passover till tomorrow as expressly commanded them in the bible, christians do not. One more example - jews celebrate the feast of Purim (book of Esther), celebrate 50yr jubilees . . . none of these pertain to the christian as we are not jewish. The ability to correctly identify what laws pertain to the jew (as a nation) and what pertains to the christian (as a member of the body of Christ) is critical to understanding several of these questions you ask NOT for clarification but for derision. huxley:Love is the cornerstone of the Christian faith, the death on the cross symbolises the greatest love that any man could have for a friend. huxley:again, a tribal jewish law that has nothing to do with christianity. huxley:the bible says nothing about catholic priests. The bible speaks so many times in parables . . . turning the other cheek is symbolism for the 2nd question you asked earlier and not literarily refering to the cheek on ur face. huxley:Again another wrongly applied parable . . . the same bible says . . . he that will not work (or plan) will not eat. |
Dano (powdered). |
KAG:more roundabout discourse saying nothing of substance. God was an integral part of the lifestyle of the men who drafted the US constitution and served as its founding leaders. As for christian principles? Pls read the bible. |
huxley:The founding fathers of the US were smart enough to understand that not every citizen would subscribe to the christian faith. They realised that the foundation of a modern state was to keep religion separate from state . . . HOWEVER there is no shying away from the FACT that those devout men who put America on its feet relied heavily on their christian faith. Such is evident from their various writings. You will not find christian doctrine in legislative documents of the US, it was not founded as a theocracy. |
huxley:1. Did the communist states (supposedly athiest) like Russia (Stalin), China fare any better? Christianity does not gloss over the fact that as humans we will make mistakes. 2. "leading lights" of freedom? Thomas Paine moved to France in 1781 and did not return to the US until 1802. To parrot the lie that he was more instrumental to the founding of the US beyond writing inflammatory pamphlets is to pander to your own propaganda. |
KAG:Sorry, it was widely used on US coins as early as 1863. Considering how common coins are i'd wager pretty much every school kid as at that time was familiar with the motto. The country was founded in 1776 not 1863 (a moot point): but since you choose to pursue the matter . . . President George Washington, September 17th, 1796 "It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible" |
KAG:You're not really seeking an answer so i will pass on that. In God we trust - became official US motto in 1956 but had been widely in use as early as 1863. Below is an 1864 US coin https://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j82/davidylan/coin.jpg |
olabowale:What was this ambigous "religion" and pls tell us with proof . . . what qu'ran were these "prophets" reading? At least Moses had the Torah which is the very basis of Judaism. olabowale:The "ill organized militias" have one thing going for them, they hide behind children, in mosques and residential areas. The only way to defeat them is to destroy the entire Lebanon . . . with hypocrites like you ready to scream "massacre" at every single ant killed by an IDF tank its tough to see how Israel could have defeated hezbollah. olabowale:Israel did not require US expertise to develop nuclear weapons. olabowale:Neither was there any knowledge of arabs and their bloodline. olabowale:It is you who needs a lesson in US history . . . care to tell me how IN GOD WE TRUST came about? |
