Busta:not all men are guilty of this. There are plenty of men out there who have enough discipline to keep themselves for their woman only. Women always want to eat their cake and have it; if you want the "bad" boy then dont be shocked when he cheats on u. |
not hard at all when you truly love the woman. |
there is no dry land Nigeria is actually in a better position than most countries,,, our reserves are estimated to last another 50 or so years with current demands (keep in mind that demand is increasing) some European countries hav reserves to last as low as 10yrs on current demands why do u think there is the sudden interest in reusable energy
There is no dry land . . . easy to say from the relative comfort of the UK. The problem is not even how much oil we have, whether it will last for the next 400yrs makes no difference to the common man who cant even see the proceeds of the oil we have now. Tonim:That is all good on paper. Where is the political will to harness our non-oil resources? We once used to be the world's largest producer of oil palm, what happened? Its not as if these alternative sources were never being harnessed before . . . without oil we were still able to develop a strong economy well into the early 1960s on the back of agriculture alone. If you want to boost your earnings via tourismm then ensure your crime rate is lower, that you at least dont suffer 2 nationwide blackouts every week, that the niger delta is not rife with kidnappings, that the north is not a volatile center of islam'ic extremism . . . |
our season seems to be falling apart gradually. i suppose very many of the players are not confident we have the necessary players to win titles despite our early promise. Good luck Flam, i bet u'll wish u stayed by the end of the season. |
attests to the strength of your character doesn't it?
whatever that means. Leaving an opinion on NL says absolutely nothing about my personality in real life. |
iou111:that's why i tell Nigerians to be smart, dont wait there until the oil dries up. Get ur family out to dry land in Europe or north america. |
Frizy:no, u'd be a confused mus'lim. |
After 3 years? That's a shame.
man, it was real bad. that girl cried like i'd never seen a woman cry before. The yellow pawpaw relationship didnt last more than a yr, very rude little thing. Gamine:long meaningless theory. You are indirectly influenced by those around you. Face it, if your brother brings home a cute chic u'd look at ur own again and wonder silently if u could not have done better. A couple of yrs ago, my gf used to be the barometer for my close friends . . . after we started dating everyone else started looking for light skinned girls . . . ![]() |
Isnt the "aesthetics" of a person the first thing you see though? If a man sees a woman and isnt immediately attracted to her, why would it even get to the point of a relationship. It was when they were IN a relationship that she realized the dude ate like a pig as oposed to when you meet someone and you see that they LOOKS like a pig so it wouldnt even get to the point of marriage in the firts place
You'd be surprised how many men start complaining about their partner's looks after they've been dating for quite a while. You just wait until your brother or friends come with far more beautiful women, you'll start looking at your partner with more critical eyes.Reminds me of a friend in college who dumped his gf of over 3 yrs because she had become too fat . . . this girl had been big ever since we were in secondary school . . . cute . . . everything u'd want in a chic. But he dumped her as soon as he saw a "yellow pawpaw". things happen o. Sheniqua must have noticed the eating habits before but she was probably blinded by "love" and the bible. |
Lakanye . . . i bet you did not require your white "wife" and "one night stand" to have these criteria and YET you claimed to have loved them? Why the sudden inclusion of these silly criteria now that it comes to a black woman? Oh wait . . . have you gotten over your "phobia" so fast? What drugs did you use? Seriously, there are times i sincerely feel for the black woman . . . rejected by the white man, looked down upon by the black man. Very sad. |
how can you compare looks to table manners??
I'm not compareing bothin literal terms. Sheniqua says she cant live with a man with poor table manners, the same way many men feel they cant live with a woman who does not satisfy their aesthetic desires. |
sheniqua:and yet you all complain when men say a woman's looks are important when it comes to making a committment. |
just keep looking. you never know, the person u're looking for may just be right by under ur nose there and u didnt even bother to look. Marriage is scary but if others can make it work then so can you. |
sheniqua:and i tell you it is 100% possible to "pass through" elementary school to university level without being able to construct a single sentence in English. At least i have cousins for proof that such indeed happens. I remember a UK born and bred fellow who came over to finish his secondary education in my school, while his spoken english was impeccable his writing was so horrible he had to come to me sometimes to proof read his work before submitting. |
Uche2nna:English may not be a marital requirement for her. |
sheniqua:She's from my father's side so no problems. My mom has to tap the bag of garri and point to her mouth to pass the message though. Sign language is cool. |
Uche2nna:half bread is better than none. |
Aisha2; northerners are forever complaining about everything from nollywood to the economy being monopolised by the south. What is YOUR contribution as a group to Nigeria? Why cant you go and create your own hausawood? Do something besides begging for once! |
Uche2nna:My cousin had A1 in geography. ![]() She's such a "brilliant" girl. At least she makes good eba. ![]() |
not new, i've got a fairly distant cousin who can't communicate in English and is about to graduate from a polytechnic, accountancy too. At least she's nice. ![]() |
what is even more puzzling is the unspoken idea that all the woman needs is just find a fellow who is ready to marry her NOW. Is anyone asking what Keenee herself has to offer any potential suitor? |
olabowale:why shld you expect a blatant fraud to be in the bible? olabowale:Bull. Greek was a recognized language in biblical times as well as aramaic and hebrew. Not only does the bible indicate that, archeological evidence and history proves that greek was a language spoken and written down earlier than the 1st century. Luke was a greek. Now were Spanish and Italian 1st century languages? Those are important questions to ask rather than beating about the bush. olabowale:bull! Where did moha'mmad raise any dead? olabowale:what a shame. The book of barnabas rather points to your own dishonesty. First you said the bible was lost now u've suddenly found an authentic copy? there is no argument alhaji, when the judgement comes go and argue your case at the throne of fiery judgement. |
stillwater, you will soon wake up from ur sleep. ![]() |
We grow rice in the Bendel area (ofada rice) but they are certainly of poorer quality compared to the Asian rice. |
another rant at men again? |
stillwater:It still wont change the law of nature. ![]() |
Its not the amount of land we have, its whether we have the kind of soil conditions required to grow rice. If it were a matter of just land then the US and Europe would long have been the largest producers of rice. |
never. What is a woman without her looks? |
