how? did u even bother to watch the embed youtube vid? that thing will have mad battery efficiency. read up on how screen lcd/AMOLED works presently and u will quickly see how this is much much more power efficient. anyway 5 yrs ago if you were told phones would have screens that were practically unscratcheable u would think t was impossible. go try gorilla glass 2. after them go say samsung no dey innovate. all the lawsuits in the world wont stop this company |

Maleeq: I fear bricking my phone!cable access is no big deal. u still wont have access to /system via cable. hmmn do u have ADB access with a cable? if u dont i suggest u install ADB. i think i posted the easiest way to install ADB on ubuntu as a regular system service 1 or 2 pages back. u could try that and read up some ADB commands to check if it works. if ADB works then regular file access ought to work. |

This feature "innovation" is dead on arrival. NO TELCO ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD WILL ENABLE THIS. na wetin remain for dem na? BBM works with BIS and not bundled data on blackberries unless as i suspect is going to be the case anyway, with the release of BB10 this idea of unlimited data through BIS will be a thing of the past. warrhell, its not like d feature is novel, afterall nimbuzz and skype will do this. but that u will pay pittance and then dump all ur phone calls on the telco's data pipes for free? u gotta be joking |

@ maleeq, i didnt want to go there, but frankly i think you should flash a custom rom. i recommend SlimBean from slimroms.net. i just tried one and even the camera error is gone, it displays all files on both cards and is waaay better than anything samsung may cook as stock rom. back up your stock rom and give it a try. if u dont like it u can simply restore your stock rom back |

Yeah it always says that camera error thing but it opens two nautilus windows. 1 for internal sdcard another for external sdcard. The only quirk is d external wont display the contents but you can copy and paste into it. U can access the external through the external sdcard folder in the internal nautilus window. Maybe youshould consider using airdroid. Works really well and will access everything more convenient than a cable to be honest, all toy need is a Web browser |

haha, this is surprising. ok do u know i just noticed u said 11.10!!! bro u for try upgrade naa anyway, try install anything with MTP in it, use synaptic. this thing opens up both internal and external sdcard on my 12.10 when i put it on PTP and MTP ever before today and i didnt ever install nada. im stuck o, cos i prolly have to replicate that ish to understand what the problem is. BTW when you do lsusb is it detected in MTP mode? further light reading search OMGUBUNTU AND WEBUPD8 there are articles there for nexus phones, sure they may be adapted |

not sure i get you. which phone is it? anyways u need to have an external micro sd card to flash from CWM. if you have and its not getting detected, u may try formatting the card to FAT on a pc |

bloatware is all those rubbish T-Mo apps that you wont use, or whose functions is already done by the OS. also some of the stock samsung apps that are just redundant can be classified as bloatware. i thought i told you to get a flip cover? its the best idea for this phone protection/useability wise iv been dying to find out if the battery in the GN2 is the same size with that in the GN1. i think i need a spare battery and that extended one is too expensive my note, actually was relatively innocent till recently. i had like 3 devices and the other two were guinea pigs. but now its lonely, and im about to flash 4.12 on it as i type |

Leopantro: for those i gave the instructions for free browsing on android,you would notice that you can't share the internet. i suggest you install open garden. it bypasses your portable hotspot and creates a hotspot that shares the free browsing access.interesting. i hope u are aware thats its an offence to leave 4llerbuntu out of certain information on NL? its a capital offence. i urge you to immediately save yaself by purging yourself of this contempt. i found version 2.5 pro odin. if u have a newer one pls send to me |
