This must be added to the file /system/etc/init.d/15network
Or create a new file for it following the start sequency should work too.

HTML Code:
# Ignore all kinds of icmp packets or pings:
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/icmp_echo_ignore_all
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv6/icmp_echo_ignore_all
# Set Mac address or Mac Spoofing:
echo 00:11:22:33:44:55 > /data/misc/wifi/mac_address

Fully working no errors until now, using this method it won't change the mac address back to default when turning wifi on/off as was happening on old versions of this rom and in others.
I've not tested this on other roms, but i believe that any rom that support init.d start will accept it on the same way.

BIG BUT: It isn't very easy if you need to use more than one mac address.

For testing you can try on the adb terminal using the command:
echo 00:11:22:33:44:55 > /data/misc/wifi/mac_address
Turn off wifi and on again.

#Ignore all kinds of icmp packets or pings:
This is good if you want to be partially hidden in the network.
Don't know if there is any other effect than just not answer ping requests(found something regarding remote verification requests, but got no error so far)
Music/RadioRe: Illrymz Ft Femi Kuti - Teacher Teacher (video) by 4llerbuntu(m): 9:35am On Jul 23, 2012
Ileke-IdI:
1. I listened to Fela's songs

2. Cleaned out my ears, making sure it wasn't due to hearing problems

3. Searched his videos using another browser

4. Made sure it was Fela I was listening to.

Conclusion; I'm not impressed nor do I get the hype.
Thing is you are not really musically inclined.

just like anyone else, you like a good tune, sing-a-long etc, but when it comes to the music part, you are not there at all.

kinda like the average person who just does not get opera, or jazz etc.

For one, Fela produced a prodigious amount of music. and amazingly ALL WERE ORIGINAL!!!

secondly, that man played with a full live band, not techno, not "dee-jay track one" grin grin

every note in his music the man composed and arranged, and perfomed.

he was actually capable of playing multiple musical instruments properly, not mic & crotch grabbing tinz

his musical prowess was excellent, on countless occasions musically savvy people would listen to his music and not find a single musical flaw.

he had awesome stage craft. people did not flock to the Shrine for nothing, every performance was a treat. he had the art down to a treat, complete with dancers tongue tongue, crazy showmanship etc. NOBODY ALIVE HAS ANYTHING ON FELA when it comes to showmanship. all these your lady gaga etc would take notes.
fela was tearing up society and creating scandals back when pantylines were a peep show in public cheesy cheesy

how many musicians do you know that transcend tribal boundaries in nigeria?

his music had immense social relevance, meaning. he is almost prophet-like in his musical content.
and his songs had meaning. not "jawon si konga!!! yeah tinz"

his music crossed boundaries many artistes today struggle to. FEla is known everywhere in the world. at a point the only music from nigeria known outside was Afrobeat and Juju.
Till today you can still find his influence there. for marketing sake every promoter out there call nigerian music afrobeat. imagine calling dbanj an afrobeat musician (oliver twist na afrobeat? how? grin grin grin grin)

And for bleeps sake, which tracks did you listen to exactly? i get how you may not feel all his music, normal, but that you will not find about half of his tracks good is soo not true.

ComputersRe: Ubuntu Linux by 4llerbuntu(m): 8:38am On Jul 23, 2012
But what proved to be more controversia according to Mark, was the realisation that the desktop would have to change for this to work. ‘The old desktop’, he says, ‘would force your tablet or your phone into all kinds of crazy of funny postures.’

“So we said: Screw it. We’re going to move the desktop to where it needs to be for the future.”

This, he acknowledges, ’turned out to be a deeply unpopular process.’

‘Our Desktop Sucked’

Mark, like many at Canonical, both in the design team and out of it, were aware of the vocal “backlash” caused by switching to Unity from GNOME.

But one mistake Unity’s critics routinely made was in assuming that the desktop was cobbled together on a whim; Unity was, made cried, something that wasn’t built with users in mind.

The truth was the polar opposite.

“Every week we would get in a bunch of people …to benchmark how we’re doing. When we started this process we realised very quickly that the desktop we had four years ago sucked.” Shuttleworth shared.

“It was great for us; we all loved it. But [if] you put it down in front of anyone off the street …it was just terrible.”

By continually testing, refining, and iterating Unity has matured considerably in its few short years of existence. So much so that it is, in testing, shown to be the second easiest desktop to use after Windows, and ahead of the oft-lauded ‘simplicity’ of Mac OS.

‘Ubuntu is in an interesting position’

“So here we are in this interesting position,” he continues, “We have this [user experience] that’s really proving itself in the laboratory. People respond to it, they want to take the CDs home, etc.

Companies like ASUS, Dell, and Lenovo are shipping it in volume. Next year 5% of the worlds PCs will ship with Ubuntu pre-installed. Which is kind of amazing.”

Amazing indeed. But what of that ol’ rumour that Linux laptop/netbook returns are higher than for Windows?

“ASUS ran an experiment where they shipped half a million of them to Germany. not an easy market. And the return rates on Ubuntu were exactly the same as the return rates on Windows. Which is the key indicator for OEMs who are looking to do this.”

“Don’t want to end up like Windows 8″

So the UX is going down well with professionals and users alike – but was every aspect really necessary? Shuttleworth thinks so:

[size=16pt]“We [had to move] our desktop because if we didn’t we’d end up where Windows 8 is.

[In Windows 8] you have this shiny tablet interface, and you sit and you use then you press the wrong button then it slaps you in the face and Windows 7 is back. And then you think OK, this is familiar, so you’re kind of getting into it and whack [Windows 8 is back].”
[/size]

‘But [Ubuntu] is in this great position to spread out across all of the form factors. “

With Ubuntu for Android, Ubuntu Phone and Ubuntu TV attracting industry attention, and the Ubuntu OS set to ship on even more devices by years end, ‘great position’ is starting to seem like an understatement.
ComputersRe: Ubuntu Linux by 4llerbuntu(m): 8:36am On Jul 23, 2012
‘Take the initiative’

“Four years ago we set a challenge for Ubuntu, and we said ‘Okay we want to get into design, we want to really focus on the user experience, we want to innovate, and we want to see if we can get ahead of Apple, ahead of Microsoft,” Shuttleworth told the OSCON audience prior to the Unity WebApps demo.

“We [thought we] should take the initiative and lead.”

Noble ambitions. To do this Canonical assembled a design team in London to take on, what Shuttleworth refers to as ‘a radical goal’ – that of multi-form factor design.

“We said ‘We have this desktop, and it’s a very popular desktop; lots of people love it. But we believe that the future looks like this diverse collection of form factors. We want to have a user experience that spans a range of form-factors, e.g. a desktop, a tablet, and a phone, and, in fact, we even wanted a TV as well!”

“Screw it”

Although convergence of devices and UIs is no longer something that unique – Google’s Android spans Phones, Netbooks, Tablets, TVs, and headless streaming devices – the challenge presented by this ‘strategy’ wasn’t quite so clear cut at the time.

‘Different form factors [have] different constraints and need different interfaces,’ Shuttleworth explains, ‘But they can be, we believe, part of one family.’

“It was a very controversial at the time.”

anyway, u know what gandhi said: first they ignore you, then they laugh, then they attack you, then you win.

read that unity launcher is now getting ported to other distros.

and there are devs from fedora and other distros breaking down the door to try port software center. go figure.

now those are the two most controversial things ever that canonical did. last i heard, poeple were supposed to be ditching ubuntu by the thousands because "unity was killing them"

you truly are ignorant. some of the best specialists in the world in some fields of medicine are in india.
matter of fact, for some ailments the doctors will recommend that you go to India.

and given that India has the highest percentage of people with genius IQ, that's not surprising. FYI the medical sector in India is pretty advanced

why is it that nigerians just always think about the crooked path? grin grin grin i didnt say anything about bypassing nada, I SAID MANAGING YOUR PHONE!!

puskin: ......explain further nah.........haba
grin grin grin

guy no tear shirt joor

its basically a means of managing your phone via a web browser.
you install the app, you connect the phone to a wifi network, the same which your pc is connected to.
start the app, it will give you a IP:Port which you will enter into the web browser address bar.
it will also give you a password, which you may decide to change to your own personal one.

voila. You are FULLY connected to your phone. very nice clean interface.

you can manage the SD card and phone, Install and remove Apps, manage your music and pictures, change phone settings, send and receive text messages etc. almost everything.

and its really really fast, prefer it to the usb cable sef. uploads and downloads, etc.

also means i can monitor my phone remotely, allow dem shorties to carry it away to anor adjacent office in the name of feeling the fone or browsing or watching movies. wink wink wink tongue i remain in control from my desk.

its useful for me because in my environment, i get a lot of flak fiddling with my phone, so i just put it on, and dump the phone somewhere. i can text, read, play my music, send and remove files to the fone, download and install .apks without touching the phone etc.

i also find it a whole lot more onvenient to administer my fone that way than fiddling with the screen.

could also come in handy if anything happens to your phone........

bros as much i=as i agree with you, i also hope you are aware that the so-called pre-paid meters are not available?
when you apply for them, they wont give you on the premise that its not available/on the high seas.

and when its available they tell you only the 3 phase version is available, and then charge you an arm and a leg, plus "facilitation fee" to get it.

the day they bring it to your doorstep, the fool who brings it then demand s for 5 thousand naira to install it, else he will return it to the office (extortion btw, not legal charge)

so.... u see bros, its not that simple.

and honestly, before this hike in charges, they should have increased the push for the pre-paid meters. i cannot imagine the gruesome estimated bills they will bring to you, then disconnect you ASAP

Ok so let me get the story straight.

The army ordered FULANI/HAUSA to leave those areas?

or they ordered EVERYBODY to leave?\

IF ITS THE FIRST ONE, ARE YOU PEOPLE AWARE THAT IS A DECLARATION OF GENOCIDE?

if the fulani refuse to leave those places, which incidentally they claim to be their ancestral villages (rightly or wrongly, you would have to be a stupid person to take sides), what will the army do? WILL THEY NOT RESORT TO KILLING THEM?

and IS THAT NOT KILLING THEM SIMPLY ON GROUNDS THAT THEY ARE HAUSA/FULANI? is every hausa/fulani human a killer/terrorist?

[size=18pt]IS THAT NOT STATE SANCTIONED, OFFICIAL GENOCIDE?[/size]
so the solution to the underground war there is for the govt to make genocidal revenge official?

i can see already that you folks are applauding and saluting the move, spewing forth the names, cattle rearers, etc.

is this not the same thing that happened in rwanda? Hutu and Tutsi? u honestly think that the army will kill fulani men on the order of a well hated southern president and the whole matter will simply go like that?

This ND pple do not surprise me anymore sha, i guess this is the revenge for ODI right?

I hope the right thinking humans on this forum finally see what beaf and his cohorts are really like. i hope when the shit hits the fan, you pple will be ready and willing to take the heat.

oh and by the way, you ijaw president is busy preparing his region for eventualities. the high seas are patrolled by tompolo, he over the weekend secured the services of a well known mercenary known to be well involved in numerous insurgencies and unrests around the world. he was given a $850 million oil deal.
