These sort of things were always likely to happen to the Arse as soon as you listed.Get real folks.If Kroenke is determined to get his hands on the Arse ,he will and nothing will stop him

He can start chipping away at the shares gradually as soon as he can raise the finance.

That "one year agreement" is a laughable PR stunt.They want to sell their shares at the highest possible price but at the same time,give Arse fans the impression that they were reluctant to sell in the first place

A £600 million take-over might actually reduce the spending power of the Arse.Where will the new owner find extra money to spend after spending that amount,even if its just a majority he is seeking.

What difference does it make to Arse fans whether Kroenke is the owner or the likes of Fizsman?Arse is not like Barca and it barely makes any difference which moneybag owns the club

I was just trying to be conservative with figures.Actually, the projection is for 300 billion naira($2.3billion) as Londoncool stated.
Any be aware that those projections are from the very reputable KPMG.
I think with that kind of money, Cross riverians are made 4 ever!!!

If it was that easy,the process of development will be a piece of cake.That figure is over-optimistic and in the fullness of time, we will realise that.

This is not the first time we have had such overly optimistic revenue projection for projects in Nigeria.

Why didn't they sign it for 3 years?They are only playing "hard to get" to get as much as possible for their shares.This is normal practice in take-over situations in the Corporate world.Just give it time and you would soon join us in being American owned

stock exchange rules prevent a take-over (public that is) without 30%, since the rest of the board is adamant in not selling, he needs that 30% to start anything.

I don't want to deluge this thread with the details of the takeover regime in the U.K but the rules don't prevent a take-over offer being initiated prior to the 30% mark.They only oblige a take-over bidder to make an offer at that point.

If he gets 54.5% of the shares,the board will be in the minority and its only a matter of time b4 they capitulate
