PoliticsRe: Why Is PDP So Lawless? by 4Play(m): 1:05pm On Apr 15, 2007
They are a law unto themselves. As Seun noted,a human being will do whatever he can do so long as he faces no repercussions.

It is not really a PDP issue,it is a failing of human nature

MANCHESTER UNITED are ready to make a sensational summer move for Michael Owen.

Sir Alex Ferguson has focused his search for a striker on Newcastle's 27-year-old England star, who has a £12million release clause in his contract.

Defensive injuries mounting

Rio Ferdinand looks set to miss Tuesday night's Premiership encounter with Sheffield United after limping out of Saturday's FA Cup semi final win over Watford.

Ferdinand was originally a doubt for the game against the Hornets after picking up a groin strain in Tuesday night's Champions League clash. But, after aggravating the injury at Villa Park, Sir Alex revealed the United defender would undergo a medical scan on Sunday morning.

"Hopefully it's not a long-term injury," the United boss told MUTV. "We have three days' rest now so we'll take advantage of that."

Ferdinand was replaced in the 40th minute by Darren Fletcher, who made the unlikely move to right back. With Fletcher's introduction, Evra switched to his favoured left back position, while Heinze moved into the centre to partner Wes Brown.

Rio now joins fellow United defenders Gary Neville (ankle), Mikael Silvestre (shoulder), John O'Shea (calf) and Nemanja Vidic (shoulder) on the treatment table, although O'Shea and Neville are expected to return soon.

Sir Alex does have youngster Craig Cathcart available and could hand the 18-year-old his United debut when Neil Warnock's Sheffield United side arrive at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

I once saw an old edition of Oprah in which the theme was Nigerians marrying American women for "papers" and then dumping them. This was dated back to the early 90s

What struck me was that she allowed the victims, mostly unchallenged,to tell viewers to "be careful about hooking up with Nigerians".

At the end of the show she did add the caveat,"not all Nigerians engage in this activity" however, anyone watching who was not Nigerian, would have been left with that impression

This is bewildering! grin If I was to declare myself the Oba of London ,Emir of England,Sultan of Britain,e.t.c.no one will pay me any heed. They may call me crazy  but the Queen will not take actions to insist that I can't call myself what I want.

This time last week, there was some news report about a young lady in the Gambia roaming the streets and muttering loudly,"Blood Baptista"!  cheesy

I have also heard about rising sales of Kleenex products in the Gambia since that gripping 2 weeks of disaster.

Could this have anything to do with a certain Mukina?  huh

@debosky

Last season ,you made it all the way to the C.L final and that accounted for your poor showing in the league. You are pushing the bounds of reason,if you think this season's performance can be categorised as an improvement. That will be a triumph of optimism over reality.

You have not had the full complement of RVP and Henry? When they were available, where were you?

CrimeRe: Sex-for-grade Harassment In Nigerian Universities by 4Play(m): 5:36pm On Apr 14, 2007
In a male dominated society, the blame for any cases of sex-for-grades must lie with men.Men create an environment where women are encouraged to trade their bodies for grades and those who reject this ugly bargain are treated as outcasts.

My friend once caught our Faculty Dean taking one of his female classmates out one nite. The Dean drove his car into a ditch and when he asked for help,it was his student who came to the rescue. He was embarassed and had no choice but to award him good grades
