@Viera 94/95 ,you made it to the final of the European Cup Winners(am using your criteria) and Wenger became the manager in 96/97 |
Fabregas has scored only 3 goals all season and has no defensive abilities. No wonder the Spanish press wanted him to lose his starting place and the Coach obliged The boy is overated. He is having a good run over the past 3 months and suddenly Arse-anal fans think he has arrived |
@Viera Before he came, you won European Winners Cup in 94,FA Cup in 93,so you can't say you were not winning |
The NPT is an entirely voluntary treaty.Countries are free to chose whether or not to sign up Having exercised that choice,it is only reasonable to call on Iran to observe its treaty obligations.Nobody coerced them into signing up. The comparisons to Isreal are irrelevant |
Their is an ignorant presumption that underlies some of the argument.People seem to think that while Isreal decided to acquire nukes, their neighbours took a conscious decision not to acquire nukes Far from that, the neighbours, including Iran embarked on a nuclear program at the same time as Isreal(Iran's nuclear program was started during the reign of the Shah). The key reason why it has taken so long is the lack of expertise That is why Iran signed up to the NPT.Under it,you can get nuclear cooperation from more advanced nations so long as your program is for peaceful purposes .In return ,you have to maintain full transparency(including inspection regimes) . This is where Iran has fallen foul of the law they signed. They have sought to have the best of both worlds.Sign up and get nuclear cooperation and then covertly use the tech acquired to embark on a clandesting program It is not the good faith of the Arabs and Iranians that has stopped them getting nukes,it is their lack of technology and expertise |
Ok,so the issue is not so much that they should not try and stop others, but that they should not do it hypocritically If Russia is trying to stop others from acquiring nukes, aren't they the biggest hypocrites?Russia's stockpile is larger than all the other nuclear countries, including the US, combined. |
@topic Have you considered amputation. You remember the Biblical saying If your hands are making you sin,you should remove it. |
Ok,Russia does not try to stop countries getting nukes ![]() |
Is it not funny that Russia has far more nuclear weapons(almost double) than the US |
See as una dey disrespect the President of Nigeria ![]() Its not his fault that he looks like evidence that man evolved from apes |
@debosky 2 barren seasons are not a "tough patch" but a calamity. You have to consider that Arsenal have evolved from a team that regularly challenged for the title to a team that is satisfied just finishing in the top 4. The responsibility for the chaotic change of players lies with Wenger. That sense of chaos is going to persist if Arsenal don't start winning trophies. Many of the players will not want to remain at a club that wins nothing |
Certain footballers have a fearsome reputation that has no connection with reality.I constantly have to wonder what all the fuss is about Wayne Rooney springs to mind.He has not had a good consistent performance since Euro 2004 but yet is constantly hailed as if he is the new Pele(witness England's agonisation over his potential abscence in the last World Cup) Sure he scores some spectacular goals but has yet to perform consistently over an entire season Deco of Barcelona is another media hype. That man is a shadow of his former self in his early days at Porto when he used to score plenty of goals.I even thought his performance under Mourinho was not as good as is made out now.He was much better before Mourinho became manager of Porto . Fabregas! That boy is as deadly in front of goal as Emile Hesky yet is hailed as the new Guardiola. His ball winning skills are non-existent and he is one of the prime reasons Arse-anal are in 4th place There are plenty of others but these are my top 3 |
Vieira:Ok It is still possible that you will win the Premiership Which kind of weed are you smoking? Vieira:It may also mean that you are losers!A bunch of nearly men.Funny enough, when Wenger was at Monaco,he was known as the "nearly man".Seems nothing has changed |
Genial:Only 500 years? You be small child now. I was born 4000 BC, yet noone shows me respect on NL. |
@ikamefa Disgusting?Don't forget,it is you people who bleed from the vagina on a monthly basis |
@Viera I rephrase my claim to 2 seasons then.It is interesting that you rebut my assertion that you failed to win trophies by refering to your CL final and carling Cup final appearances In the world of Arsenal, making it to the final of a competition is as good as winning a trophy. ![]() Vieira:All these question marks mean what exactly. Are you going to win the Premiership? ![]() |
Arsenal can keep deluding themselves.3 seasons in a row without a trophy My prediction is that next year ,the title race will be between Liverpool and Man Utd if Mourinho leaves. Arse-anal won't win the league for years to come.I was reading an excellent article in the Times about Wenger. He feels his job is very secure so he can afford to go for years without a trophy. Each new season,he promises a difference but each season remains the same. He uses the "youth policy" as a shield to excuse his team's poor performance NB:Reports in the Sun that Man Utd are interested in Adebayor, hence he has refused to sign a contract extension.I don't like him,he should stay with the Arse |
The whole toilet seat debate is symptomatic of what is wrong with the female sex. We want the toilet seat up,they want it down.If we come in and see the toilet seat down,we don't complain but if the reverse is the case, women complain to the high heavens. It is as if the world should only be how they want it. They are not prepared to countenance the fact that humanity is diverse and our needs are similarly diverse Good luck to my brothers in the struggle to keep the toilet seat up ![]() |
Attention Gunners Fans Invitations are out for the Gunners End Of Season Party ![]() |
@Kitaun I checked the old posts again. He said he was born in 1991.That makes him 16 years The boy was a little baby when Yekini was knocking in the goals. |
I don't really understand why people think DSTV is a rip off.I ask them this, rip off compared to what Before DSTV,what did you have? With DSTV,you get to watch more premiership matches than anywhere on the planet(even here in England) at a reasonable price I guess if you are not so keen on Premiership football then DSTV is not the answer. Most of the cost we pay is actually due to the football |
I heard Solskjaer is out for 4 weeks while Rooney had a knee injury which has not yet been fully asessed.Obviously Larson is leaving on the 12th of March Larsson has not been particularly useful except as a way of keeping the forward line fresh so I don't think we will miss him when he leaves If Rooney remains unfit,we should put Ronaldo alongside Saha in attack and bring in Fletcher.Whatever happens though,it is too late for injuries to have a considerable impact on the title race |
Make una cool down for the kid(D-Block).I think he said somewhere that he is 17 or was it 16 |
