@op people are not really interested in the ACT but the ART in the ACT.anybody can kick anything but not everybody can play football.anybody can talk but not everybody can pass a message tru songs hence the followership musicians have.people respect people who do things they cant do.so dnt judge wot u dnt really understand.am sure u ve things dat givs u pleasure.i do also smh wenever i see people watchin wrestling. |

Airtel is fond of withhelding information just to decieve.when you ask the customer care agent why that is not included in the advert they will never give you a good response |

A guy who has never used a shaving stick before saw an advert on tv where a man was smiling and shaving in the bathroom.a beautiful woman came in and started playing with the mans jaw because it was so smooth.so this guy decided to buy this same shaving stick.the first thing he noticed was that it is not possible to be shaving and smilling at the same time.he slept and woke up the second day only to discover bumps as big as beans on his jaw. Another person listened to a radio advert calling for admission in a certain school.they claimed the school had qualified teachers,labs etcby the time the child finished the first term he couldnt spell his own name again. Another person heard on the radio about how to make money.he traced the adress that was announced gave them the amount of money they asked for and was told to come back at a certain time.by the time he got there,they have moved away so he is now blaming the radio station.are there regulators here in Nigeria,wot can be done to at least reduce this to the bearest minimum |

getting d cut off mark or above does not guarantee ones admission.there is a slot 4 staff children,governor,vc,deputy vc,catchment area,indigenes and anoyingly who you know before thinking of those who shud be admitted on merit.dis is crazy. |

First of all i wish there were sections for law here on naira land where we can be enlightened about our rights.All d same after sitting for jamb for like 4times and passing the post jamb convincingly yet you are not admitted isnt it possible to sue d university for collecting ur money and not admitting you?plz lawyers in d house wot do you think? |

This topic was debated around october 2007 here on nairaland and was touched by two instances that was given. 1 A husband had a fight with is wife and decided to give a silent treatment.After 4days the wife couldnt take it any longer so one sunday they went to church together the husband left her behind knowing fully well that she was still going to be ignored she decided to go to a friends house.armed robber came to the house and violated the wife.she told her husband and he started blaming himself for his action. 2 Another husband beat his wife as if that is not enough he decided to ignore her.during the beating she sustained an internal injury which led to an internal bleeding.she couldnt tell him because he was not talking to her.they went out together he left her in the car expecting her to join him.after sometime he didnt see her so he came back to the car only for him to see her dead body. For me,i see silent treament as an alternative to yelling and beating and i use it only to get an apology but reading peoples coment they made it sound like something evil. Kids are very adorable expecially because of there sincerity and honesty but they can be very very funny when it comes to expressing themselves.a kid wanted to find out if i can speak igbo so he said 'se you gbo ibo' another one ran to a class and shouted 'haa everybody Tunde have kobalize us' which simply means Tunde has put us in trouble.Feel free to share yours.  |

After reading your views i guess the most important thing is to learn the basics of everything we can learn.not everything taught in schools are helpful to all students.so students should basically be taught ao to be the best in any field they choose not forcing 'anything down their throats' |

I was teaching my students a topic in mathematics one day, number system to be specific, and i asked myself wot exactly is the usefulness of dis topic to the students in the real world most of wot the students know nowadays is not wot they were thought in the classroom.which is why most of these students seem to be bored in the class because they do no see the relevance of wot they are being taught.these keeps me wondering is coming to school a necessity or just a fulfilment of all righteousness.your opinions will be appreciated. |

a personal experience:a teacher was suddenly promoted to the post of a vp because she is a mother,married and read education.another teacher from another section was also brought in to come and head a section filled with lots of experienced and dedicated teachers.the two new heads hardly agree on issues not mentioning the fact that they were promoted ahead of those that know far more than them.a section that was once peaceful is now becoming an unbearable place for teachers.ao can students learn in such a place. |

for instance there are establishments that promote workers based on wot they have in terms of certificates despite the fact that they have workers that are better in terms of contribution to the progress of that establishment. |

how about teachers in private schools isnt this becoming a double trouble 1 no increament 2 things are now expensive because of minimum wage yet they must go to the same market with government workers.our labour leaders aint really brilliant. |
