I believe she was saying men are interested in their women's bodies with a loving interest as opposed to them wanting rail thin or perfect wives. Relate it to sex if you will.
I think what the writer is trying to say is, your body is just as important as your soul. Physical attraction is just as important as intellectual/behavioural attraction. In order words women should realise that men see physical attraction as a very big deal. We worship the female body, moreso when it is a female we love. When we have sex with a woman we love, its much more than just a romp between the sheets and sexual gratification, its a deep physical and emotional connection. We yearn to give as much pleasure as we recieve. In fact most men reach climax faster from the visual confirmation that we are giving pleasure to the woman. That is why a man's sense of sexual achievement comes when he makes his woman climax. We dont just have sex, we make love.

Something like that anyway.

But men are happiest being men, and women are happiest being women, with few exceptions. The differences start to manifest themselves very early. In one study Dr. Laura mentions, a barrier was placed between 1 year-old babies and their mothers. What did the little boys do? They attempted to get around the barrier or knock it down. The little girls? They cried until their mothers’ picked them up. Men tend to respond to things physically, women verbally. In fact, the two sexes are just right for each other

I'm confused,so Mr. Okafor's child is actually Mr. Ogbonna's going by the DNA analysis. But Okafor's wife says she never had sex with Ogbonna, but that she used his sperm for artificial insemination and so this can't be cheating. undecided

My question is,why did Mrs. Okafor's use Mr. Ogbonna's sperm for artificial insemination without her husband's knowledge? And how come the sperm donor lives right in the same compound as the sperm recipient?

You guys are getting it wrong. I'm not saying my friend has done badly. There are many men out there you wouldn't do such. I'm trying to make a comparison. Let's not be blinded here. The fact is that the number of men that wouldn't allow their wives access to the cars far outweighs those that would, but out of sentiments, we just pretend that it doesn't happen that way. Both of us know many Nigerian men don't give their wives access to the only car in the home. Good morning.
Modifed.
The bolded statement is very very false. I grew up in the south and have been priviledged to work in the east and western part of this country. It is a common occurrence in families with one car for the wife to have more acces to it. It has nothing to do with pride or manliness, its just the more practicable thing to do. She runs more of the errand while the man is away at work. If she doesnt drive she'll be disturbing oga non stop.

Yes there are families where the man will drive to work under AC car and leave his wife and kids to be struggling with okada, but that is the rarity and certainly not normal.

How is this strange or new? This is actually the norm! , or at least in my own world.

The only car, best car( in terms of safety, operation and efficiency) is for the wife and children ;the considerate husband and best daddy manual 1800.
It is the norm everywhere, from when i was little to when i grew up. Dont know what part of the country op grew up in.

Thank you very much, my sister. I posted this because a lot of men in the part of the country I reside in find it difficult to do this. They would rather drive to work and allow their wives and children trek under the scorching sun! Some would never compromise the car key even if their office is located in the next street.
Which part of the country is this pls?

It is good people remain silent when they don't comprehend issues. Where in the post did I say I'm against his decision? huh I'm just trying to use his decision to compare the attitude of some men I have seen who would never allow their wives to drive, even for once.
These men are few. And the arrangement hardly lasts as they find thier decision turns them into the family driver.

A friend and colleague of mine at work bought a Toyota Camry early this year. Ever since he bought the car, he has only driven it to work twice.

I inquired recently, to know why he doesn't use the car to come to work, since his residence is far from the workplace. He told me that his wife is the one who uses the car; that he only drives on Sundays...probably, taking the family to church. He wanted sufficient comfort for his wife and kids. To him, he could sort his way out even if it means getting up early to wait at the bus stand.

How many men would do this if there's just one car? huh
Most men do this. If there is only one car in the family and the wife knows how to drive, she eventually takes over the car. The man finds himself using the car less often, especially when he doesnt seriously need it. Its actually more convenient as it frees him from running random errands for the wife.

If the wife does not know how to drive, the husband finds that most times he has to take her places with the car. Wether it be the market place or to help with school run for the kids and whatnot. It can honestly become quite frustrating and most times the men enroll thier wives for driving school so they can have some of thier freedom back.

Your question of how many men do this presupposes you dont have many friends that are married. Ask around for those couples that have only one car, its a pretty common occurrence.

which other evidence? I read the messages, she even told the elder sister that the years spent with the husband is a waste
Sometimes women say terrible things out of anger. If you follow every word spoken by your wife you will just get bp.

How has your marriage been over the years? How will you rate it over 10? If it has been miserable all through then there must be a problem you two have not addressed? If it has been fairly ok then she might be in a desert phase right now where she is rethinking her life with you after 4 kids and wondering what might have been i.e with her ex. Now is the time to show her love, that is, if u truly love her. Take her recent emotional flirtations with her ex as a challenge, not as an insult. You have four kids together and almost a decade of marriage, surely that must count for something! Have you been paying her any attention recently? As guys we tend to stop forget to be romantic and become absorbed with the wahala of maintaining a family, finances, work, etc etc. When last did you take her out to eat peppersoup like you used to? if she didnt love you she wouldnt have stuck with you through 4 kids.

Take a step back. An old ex wants to invade on your property, your family, your home. Your anger should be directed towards him, not your wife. Ignore or push aside the hurtful words you read from her to her sister, a message you actually were not meant to see. Woo her again, take her out, make time for her to gist with her and make her happy. Change your schedule. Stop looking for the best way to punish her for cheating, look for a way to make her love for you catch fire again. We all want to be loved, her included. The ex is just a distraction and an obstacle, a man like you. Be a man and overcome him. Win your wife back.

All the best.

I don't support her cheating either
But I am a woman
And from your write uo
You have been with her for years
Even have 4kids
No complaints
If complaints starts popping up now
Then there's something wrong somewhere

Yes we women are crazy
But we only are mad when pushed
What have you done to her is all I am asking
It's obvious you still want her and sure you can revive your union

I may be really small to you in everyway but I am a woman and to some extent I reason like an old one

It is understandable that the bashing is not going to stop anytime soon, but I totally disagree that women started it.
Nairalanders have been bashing famales a long time ago, only recently like last two years that females got enough courage to type back, infact a moniker like that trolled me severally until I responded by bashing him too, even though,I initially ignored.
The (f) are just reacting because there is a limit one can take insultive remarks even if it was not directed to one.

Eg myself, most threads are not affecting me but I am forced to type something in defence of my gender.

Now to the ladies on the frontpage,I don't think anybody commended the lady on what she did, they were only against the norm of bashing women, call it paranoia but that is what this thread is aimed at,and its not surprising that many (m) monikers are out in their droves to add fabricated stories to the Initial post already.

Bottom line-------->
The men should create threads praising women as much as they create threads bashing them for a change.
Someone has to be mature and stop the bashing first.

Anyway. I hear you.

Let me answer this.
A man that doesnt have a job and uses the money the woman sweated for to visit ashawo is not a real man. A real man would be ashamed his wife is going out to get the daily bread, a job he should be doing. A real man wont be able to sit in the house doing nothing, His conscience won't let him do it, he would rather go out and beg or clear grass or carry concre if he is not physically challenged. A real man will quickly go into depression if he cannot cater for his family because he feels he is letting his family down.

A lazy or irresponsible man does not deserve the wife to stay with him. The money she brings home should be for herself and her kids. That will make the lazy or irresponsible man jump up to his respobsibilites.

For the past 8 years he couldn't get a job.
.if you are familiar with the job market e.g post nysc, you will understand how frustrating that can be. See graduates carrying concre cos they cant find work to do.

Do you even know what concre is?

That is the best time to leave any man who was not responsible when he had the money.

No man can have his cake and eat it and yes 98% of threads are bashing women, why can't y'all men create threads praising women?.

How has the bashing solved the problems?
Bunch of frustrated men na hin full NL
But the story was not of a man who wasn't responsible was it?

You ladies quickly see the worst thing in men and then you miraculously expect men not to see the worst in you. Lol.

As far as i can remember, the ladies started the bashing on nairaland. They insult guys at the drop of a hat then cry wolf when the guys retaliate. Guys have simply caught up on the insults, that's all. I doubt most guys here are interested in bashing women but we learnt to do so from the female folk online. I know i did.

Stop bashing guys and guys will stop bashing you. Simples.

Back to the story for instance.
Honestly tell me why the ladies in the first page responded the way they did. A story was told of a man who had fallen upon difficult times. He was not said to be irresponsible. It takes a lot from a proud man to beg but there he was, begging for a job. His wife left him. That's wrong. The op now remembered his mother and how she stood by her husbamd when he lost his own job, even when he was depressed. Thats a virtuos woman. That deserves praise. Yet they left her and went to bash the Op's father. Why would they behave in such a rude and uncultured way? If someone bashed your father here now, would you take it lightly? Why did they respond that way if they were not already primed to be bitter towards men generally?
