johnydon22:
Marriage should be communicative, you don't expect every woman to be an expert like a porn star.

If she isn't as good as you want, it is marriage so you teach her to become as good as you want and also be ready to get as good as she wants too...

It's mutual and supposed to be that way... This is not an excuse
Blah blah blah.
Na so...one like for you.
You think people don't know about the above u typed.
The reality however is very very different.
Most women simply are not interested in all this discussion u people are always talking about. Full stop.
And the men simply don't have the patience. Full stop.
Why do married men have girlfriends knowing fully well that if they get caught it can ruin thier marriage, knowing fully well that they can catch an STD, knowing full well that they'll have to spend more money, knowing fully well that they can get the girl pregnant, knowing fully well that women of nowadays will walk out of the marriage before they can go on their knees and beg etc etc etc.

The answer is simple.

They re not getting enough sex.
Family › No Sex Tonight by 5minsmadness(op): 12:16am On Oct 13, 2015
I 've never quite figured out why the sexual urges of men and women differ so much.
And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing
or why men think with their head and women with their heart.

For example…One evening last week, my wife and I were getting into bed. Well, the passion started to heat up, but then she said "I don't feel like it, I just want you to hold me."

I said "WHAT??!! What was that?!"

So she said the words that every husband on the planet dreads to hear..."You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man." She responded to my puzzled look by saying, "Can't you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?"

Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep.

The very next day, I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, high-end department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several very expensive outfits. She couldn't decide which one to take so I told her we'd just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said lets get a pair for each outfit. We went on to the jewellery department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings.

Let me tell you...she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a tsunami. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis. But, I think I threw her for a loop when I said, "That's fine, honey."
She appeared to be almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement. Smiling with excited anticipation she finally said, "I think this is all dear; let's go to the cashier."
I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No honey, I don't feel like it."
Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled, "WHAT?"
I then said "Honey, I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You're just not in touch with my financial means as a man, enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman." And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, "Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?"
Apparently, I'm not having sex tonight either.

Op lemme tell u something.
I have read stories on this forum, stories of all shapes and sizes, stories with shorthand and longhand, and I have to say, yours is the longest story I have ever read. The only other place I have found stories as long as this is the politics section and even then it's possible they copied articles or whole newspapers. You are the kind of person that when someone asks to explain something to him you will start from when the earth was made, how Adam and eve came to life before you will now go on to explain the things genealogy and ancestry before coming down to the point.
It took me all of last night and early this morning to finish this story. Thanks to you I couldn't comment on any other topic on nairaland. I wanted to give up on the story several times but I felt which kind tori be dis wey wan defeat me in my reading ability? I took it as a personal challenge and read and read and read and read and fell asleep and woke up and read and read because I wanted to get to the bottom of it. And I finally made it! I beat the story! I won!
I mean you would have summarised the story somehow and just said this girl dumped you for a while for no particular reason and then after sometime she retraced her steps and even went as far as looking for a job for you all in a bid to rekindle the relationship but no! You had to mention her place of birth, your place of birth etc etc. Kudos to you! You should leave that your job and go into writing so people thst have the time can read posts as long and heart rending as this!
My advice to you is It's your choice. The lady did nothing wrong. She lost interest in you for a while, probably needed some space which you should have given her instead of harassing her up and down. She finally made up her mind that you were the one for her and came back to help you. It's not as if she came back when things were good for you so she's not a gold digger. She came back and helped you when you had nothing to offer.
But it still doesn't matter. U can't be blackmailed into liking or loving somebody. Granted, you were hurt by what she did but I don't think what she did was that bad and she has more than made up for it. Forgive her and move on or forgive her and let her go. It's your choice.
I hope you enjoyed reading my long post as much as I enjoyed reading yours! angry

@stillfire this is an example of what we Nigerians know as "provocative" bumshorts. Pls pay no mind to some folk who like to paint others in bad light for reasons best known to them. Or maybe it's just honest ignorance.

Is that what they call bum short in Nigeria? I was thinking it's the one the butt would be loosely hanging out, lol. grin
I practically grew up wearing shorts like that in the pic. So people find that provocative? Really?
NO they don't. That's not the bumshorts we were referring to. Theres nothing wrong with that pic. Lemme get the bumshorts we were talking about.

Silly.

My grouse with you is that after propagating that men are natural cheats, you come to take the high road and try to insult people for agreeing with you.

Be consistent.
You couldn't do it.

If you had answered "Yes" or "No" we would have made some headway, but no.

You seem to thrive on argument.

Read your two posts.

What you've learned from who? Yourself? Because you're the chief teacher of "all men cheat".

Now you're trying to blame it on the ladies and of course try to take sly digs at their husbands as is una way.

Who's repsonsible if family section people think all men cheat? Aren't you one of those to blame? So what's the basis of your first post?
The fact that they agree with you that all men cheat or that they exonerated their husbands as you exonerated yourself?

it was just another jobless Xtupid way of looking for people's trouble?
Breathe cococandy, breathe.

When you rant like this you sound like a bimbo. Take it easy.

Your main grouse with me is that my belief that "all men are naturally polygamous" translates to "all men are cheats", right? Pls answer yes or no to avoid unnecessary banter and misunderstanding.

Here look at me I'm 5minmadness and here's what I say.

Day 15 "nairaland women claim all men cheat except their husbands"

Now it's not you but nairaland women who are trying paint the men except those close to them bad?

You don't see how confused and senseless it sounds?
I guess when you say it, you're only stating a fact but when others echo your thoughts they are rubbishing the image of men.

Talk about who's looking for a fight. Mtchew
I can't reason with you when you are being hysterical like this. Show me where I have contradicted my point of view, but no, you go into an illogical hissy - fit. Next thing you'll cuss me out or look for an excuse to leave the thread.

@bold, yet you are looking for who to blame for your crusade of painting the men black.
My point is "stick to your POV"
Next thing you will start lambasting those who agree with you that all men cheat.

Confused much?

Seems like people around here say whatever matches the moment without considering their past affiliations.
You are the confused one here.

Confused, extremely paranoid, and looking for a fight where there is none.

In which of my posts have I not stuck 'to my point of view' ?
Family › Re: Why Do Men Cheat? by 5minsmadness: 3:24pm On Oct 08, 2015

According to you all men cheat.
It is expected because you're polygamous in nature and being faithful is unnatural to yous.

Don't push your ministry and school of thoughts on others.
That's your message and has always been.
Stop dancing from side to side when it suits you.

I tire for these color changing individuals in this section self. One day you're claiming men can't be faithful the next day you're trying to wiggle out of it.

At least stick to one side.

Are all men polygamous or not? undecided
Since I talked about all men being polygamous so many months ago your life has never been the same.

I didn't know it would have such a profound effect on you.

Perhaps I touched on a very sensitive part of your life without knowing?

If so, I want to reassure you I didnt mean to.

Whoever it is that you are afraid will turn polygamous after reading my writeup, I join faith with you in saying he will remain monogamous forever, Amen! grin

Men are the natural cheats, it is not in conflict with the statement that all men are naturally polygamous. It is only willpower that keeps us in check.
So when you see a monogamous faithful man cherish him(like I know you will). He is sacrificing a lot and going through pains for you.
(You can now go ahead and respond that females go thru the exact same thing too though we all know they dont.)
Cheers!
