I wish I could turn back the hand of time.

Mine was a long time a ago in J.S.S.2, then was the most pretty girl I have ever seen and the first day we saw we had a quarrel. Later in J.S.S3 we became friends such that we do everything together, we exchange sandals during school period and most people tagged us husband and wife then. I knew I loved her and she did too but I was too timid to tell her. Then I thought I would tell her when we get to SS3 at least then my parents won't freak out that I have a girl friend. Then one day in SS1 she told me to escort her and her friend to the park that she wanted to take her seat home.  I usually see her off to the park since I stay in the barracks and she stays in town. When we got to the park, she looked me in the eyes like she had never before and told me that her parents have transferred her to another school. I was shocked but being the type that can bottle up emotions I just dragged my friend whom was there with us and left without saying a word. I was heart broken for 3 good yrs each time I went out to town I always wish I could see her unfortunately I never knew her place. Then 4 yrs later I was going to library in town and I heard someone called my name from the other side of the road and when I turned behold it was her all grown and pretty and all I could do was to wave and continued walking. I got to the library I was restless I had to go back to same spot to look for her but couldn't find her. Then I remembered a former class mate of mine once told me he knew her place, I had to go look for him that day and he took me to her place. When I saw her, i was speechless, but then she just got admission into the uni and I was trying to wrap up my JAMB then. I left that day and never had the nerves to go back, but each day I kept thinking of her. Not until the end of my 3rd yr in uni, i summoned the courage to go look for her at least tell her let it be that she doesn't want only for me to get to her's and I was told my her younger brother that she just got married. I collected her phone number and called her and she was like, I tried reaching you but I couldn't, I wished her good luck and consoled her for losing her baby (coz her boyfriend knocked her up and they were forced to get married) and I never got to tell her how I felt. For nine years I carried her safe in my heart and for that nine years I didn't have anything to do with any girl because each day I kept hoping we would some how get back together but it turned out we were not meant to be. Funny enough several times i have ran into former class mates that knew us then and it is usually like i just her few minutes ago but i never get to see her again. Though we stay in same small town.

I hope you have grown some balls now?The worst any lady can say is no, last time I checked "no" never murdered anyone.

I was thinking about him before I started the thread. Even though I've searched for him on Facebook many times, I keep searching just in case I may find him. I never had the idea to call his former high school until it dawned on me that they may still have records of him graduating from there. No, I don't think any of you are losers. I hope this thread encourages others to go seek out old flames because I've been searching for mine for over 3 years now . Will all honesty, I may not ever find him but I can at least say I tried.
