mrvitalis:
Am from IMO state ...I have lived in pH all my life ..
Was born in BMH ...lived in that same harly street for over 15 years ..before I moved to diobu ..mile 2.. ...so please when I talk about rivers state I know what I am talking about

In roads ...ameachi did world class roads with drainage systems ...wine just coats roads and leave them ..even the roads ameachi did some part underground drainage we will just stop there and do open gutter the remaining parts ...

Baba I said name a sector wike is doing well

What has hw done in education
What has he done in the health sector
OK what of transportation
Agriculture ??
Even mile one market he used to campaign is he has not started it ,how long did it take ameachi to build town market

Is it those roads with open gutter that u call roads ??...which road wike had done that u can compare with ada George

Go n sleep
my brother leave that guy and his likes. I know that he won't find a response to your comment here . most Amaechi critics in nairaland and social media have not been to rivers state before. they just hate him because of the role he played in 2015 elections. in Amaechi first two years in office he has already start building the best public schools in Nigeria, best primary and secondary health center, best residential estates, oversea scholarships, best agro initiatives, etc

what have wike achieved in education, health, infrastructure, agric, youth empowerment, etc.
Amaech did wonders in all these sectors and more in his time. in fact his first two years in Rivers state PH literally was a construction site. 70% of the infrastructure in Rivers was done by Amaechi even his biggest enemy knew this and has never accused him of non performance

LexSteele:
no doubt, while he was busy developing the urban areas in line with GPH master plan, some rural schools were neglected
he built more schools in rural lga than even PHC like all the secondary schools were mainly built in rural areas

Port Harcourt being the first city in subsaharan Africa to be given the World book capital during Amaechi' tenure wasn't a fluke

EducationRe: Rivers State Government School Where Snake Breeds In Classroom by 6pax: 5:13pm On Jun 02, 2017
if this is really a school in Ikwerri lga then its quit unfortunate.
for those of you castigating Amaechi let me tell you something. Amachi ruled Rivers state for about seven years 3months. during his time he proposed to build over 500 modern primary schools and 24 modern secondary schools in each lga. he started off his blue with the modern primary schools in which he delivered about 75% towards the expiration of his tenure while in the secondary he delivered about five modern secondary school that can pass for any university with complete sports facilities, ict, library, lab, conference center, school clinic, hostel, etc. he also renovated many schools.
I think Wike having zero interest in education has abandoned the educational blue print of his predecessor and these beautiful education infrastructure is even presently hardly maintained.

NB ONE government can not do it all cos governance is a continuum and I expect wike to continue from the good works of his predecessor.

PoliticsRe: Gov Wike Stop Patronizing Political Contractors In Road Construction by 6pax: 4:15pm On May 30, 2017
gieala:
Gov Wike enjoys the massive support from Rivers state people but that should not be a room for his project to be of bad quality and not durable, I try as much as i can not to compare him with Ameachi in terms of project delivery. But to be sincere, Ameachi didnot construct too many roads as expected but the once he did was of very high quality with underground drainage system and walking pavement.

I am totally disappointed in wike in this road because the road is in my LGA, someone should please tell him to stop patronizing his political allies in awarding contracts to them.

The construction of this road; Eleme-Igbo-Chokocho road (in Etche Local Government Area) was finished in December 2016, and the contractor was WE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, owned by a PDP chieftain from the area.

In less than few months, the road is already in bad state with a very narrow gutter that cannot hold so much water knowing the high rainfall in Rivers State. And we dont even know how much this poorly built road cost because the state government wont make their budget for two years open for everyone to see.
In as much as you are stating the fact about the window dressing incumbent governor of Rivers the bolded above is doing a huge serviced about the Former governor whose road infrastructure in Rivers state is unprecedented in the history of Rivers state. Almost all the major road as we see it today in Rivers State is done by Amaechi. the following are lists of over 75% of the major Roads(excluding minor road and inner streets which he also did a lot) in Rivers they all done by him and almost all with dual carriage way, street lights, sub-drainage system and pedestrian walk way
