Owaincouncil: Going through all comment here, because of sentiment against a particular party, we couldn't find anything wrong in what the past administration did by neglecting peoples heritage. Had it been the place is well manage, what Govt. Will spend now to bring it back would av been use for another developmental project. Fayemi refurbished the place in his first tenure, fayose abandoned it and you are all saying something else. Is that how to run a good government by abandoning the work of your predecessor all in the name of politics? Who suffer it most? Do you wknow the number of people working there before? May God help us. Ignore those LOSERS, there is nothing to celebrate in their home lands, this is why they FLEE in droves. They thought they could brain wash others into backwardness, Yoruba call such " da bi mo ti da ". One old man keep saying it, that those who for SELFISH reasons, do not want good things to happen to this country, SHALL NOT BE ALIVE to benefit, when the plan of God for this country begins to MANIFEST. |

Yyeske: You don't know what you are talking about, the money shared was the extra crude account(ECA)created by OBJ. It had $21 billion as of when it was given to GEJ to manage. The governors found out the federal government was taking out of the ECA illegally when it was stipulated by law that every dollar taken from it must be shared with the federal taking 52%, state and LGA the rest. This was why the governors went to the supreme court and the FG had no option than to share the rest by the ratio mandated by law. Question you should be asking yourself is this, the FG finally got $2.1 billion which is 52% of the money after the sharing, this means what was remaining in the account was about $4 billion, remember it was initially $21 billion, so $21 - 4 billion is $17 billion, where is the $17 billion? Oga gan, Jina and his band of thieves just fun wa l'egbe egbe o. |

You think politics is a straight line and everyone follows your low minded fears and insecurities. Even if people are going to vote Atiku in Yorubaland p, is it because of religion? You think we are handicapped like in SE?. I have cousins who are Muslims, some do traditional religion and I am still praying for them. Get religion out of politics. Besides Osinbajo is VP and PDP is offering SGF position ...LOL. Meanwhile, Buhari is doing Lagos- Ibadan rail and federal roads are being connected up. In any case, it is governors and LGA chairmen that determine elections.
Please if you are a youth, you need to stop thinking narrow minded. That is for old people. Dey just don't get it, all their Governors since 1999 have all been Christians and yet it's been gnashing of teeth about underdevelopment. Their divide and rule CANNOT work in Yorubaland, God first, religion next, this is what both the Christians in the East and the Muslims in the North found confusing about us. |

Go ijora badia, go alaba, go ajah, even the so called lekki, local. Number 1 is to make a city clean, no Governor have been able to do that, build bins every pole, if Tinubu had done that, the people would have gotten used to it. They failed woefully, no single big name store in nigeria, bo Gucci, no vesace, no Valentino Stores etc, Lagos is underdeveloped, your ikoyi bridge is free pass on Mexico, joburg and co, and have been there for years, I am not sure Cyprus is making half of Lagos, but when you get to Nicosia, you see how neat and cozy a city should be. Lagos should be rubbing shoulders with Sandton, Cairo, joburg, Queretaro in Mexico etc, I am not even mentioning Europe. What is not good, Condemn..stop the insult. One reason Nigeria need to separate, we hate on ourselves. If you have traveled before, then you would know Lagos is smelling. No fresh breath. Stop RANTING okay?. Bayelsa with less than 2 million people is one of the richest states in Nigeria, they collect IGR, huge allocations, and 13% Derivation, but there's nothing worthwhile on the ground to show for anything.
GEJ as the governor of Bayelsa didn't build 1 single classroom, not even a dog cage.
Look at Ben Bruce, the senator they sent to Abuja to look out for them, he's one spends his days and night on twitter rambling about issues with zero substance about Bayelsa.
I don't think their leaders in that part of the country have well-defined thoughts per their responsibilities and obligations as public officials. Dey have a well defined thoughts, at least after so much NOISE, Asari Dokubo now have a university in Cotonou. |
