olumide4christ: They say that you can't bite the finger that fed you. Ambode came through a godfather..he was imposed on the party by Tinubu in 2014/15..Fashola then was pushing forth for a Sasore or Hamzat but Tinubu overruled him, brought in Ambode whom Fashola had earlier sacked from the civil service for bad conduct. Is that humiliating enough for Fashola? Yet Fashola gave up & campaigned for Ambode. Now the godfather who imposed Ambode on the people now says he doesn't want Ambode again but let all members of the party decide. What's wrong in that? You came through a godfather system...you either abide by the dictates of the system OR you ship out! You can't eat your cake and have it. You can't conquer evil with evil. That's why people like us can't participate in Nigerian politics for now. If you want to defeat godfatherism, then build your own political structure from scratch...start your own political movement...like Kwankwaso's Kwankwasiya movement and grow from there. You may not win an election immediately but after many tries you'll get there. This is the best way for younger politicians to move up the ladder and not be subject to godfatherism. You can't ride on someone else's political structure and expect to overthrow him in the same vane. That's backstabbing/double crossing/two timing! Let them continue to gnash their teeth, they want to hijack what another man has built. Tinubu started as AC because of misunderstanding he had with AD. Let Ambode build his own too so that he can control the party structure, this is how it's done elsewhere. |

CHUMA4V: This primary purportedly conducted by Lagos APC raises legal questions. Is it the State chapter that should conduct the primaries or the Committee sent by the NWC of APC? If the Chairman of the Lagos APC GUBERNATORIAL electoral panel set up by APC NWC claims his committee has not supervised/ conducted primaries, who conducted the one that Tinubu's candidate is purported to have won? Can something stand on nothing? The NWC were not prevented from presiding over the election, what were they doing in an hotel with Ambode, as at 1pm while the electorates were on ground waiting for them?. Anyway make Ambode go court, abi make e decamp which kind wahala?. |

WritePal: You have never made any valid points and no shame about it whatsoever. Yet you're everywhere hoping to sell your ordinary shafts and smoke story of the 'merits' of continuing with a colonial master and his mindless subjects in the SW colony of Lagos with 'Sir Lord Bolagard Tinumacpherson' as governor general.
When you're confronted with superior arguments, you betray your lack of moral rectitude or depth in modern politics with your stale rants of "Ipob" or you cross out the mention. You leave the message and make a lame, predictable attempt to attack the messenger instead.
You cannot handle the truth. Instead you prefer to continue to wallow in the mud of Zombeism and try to smear others with it.
So Tinubu has a blueprint for Lagos and every governor must follow his blueprint?? Hahahaha. Any governor (a whole executive governor o) that deviates from it must go. What other proof does anyone need again that Tinubu believes he actually owns Lagos?
So what if a different party wins Lagos, they must follow his blueprint too. LMAO. Which other past governor in Nigeria controls successive governors like that. Talk about gargantuan greed!! Me thinks the colony of Lagos should be seeking its second independence with immediate alacrity. Lol Na so una go dey cry more than the bereaved, even Tinubu followed the Lagos master plan, which is the Jakande plan. Themandator: Southwest state of Osun is an Apc state today not because of Tinubu or any west politician but Buhari. During the proper election Buhari left the supervision to Tinubu who promptly relocated together with some governors but without Buhari contributions, what happened, pdp snatched the state under Tinubu very nose
It took an abracadabra from Buhari arms of Apc, Inec and police, for Tinubu to keep the state. And that is a smalL, state compared to Lagos in terms of population If Buhari wants, he can upset Tinubu in his Lagos state after the Presidential election Yeah right, Buhari also instructed them to vote for Ribadu in 2011. Our case in Nigeria is like listing English alphabet and I say A, another person will say Alpha; alpha is the first letter in Greek alphabet but not in English alphabet... There is no ground where any patriotic Nigerian can say Buhari has tried; is fight against corruption is just like robbing from Peter's family and giving it to Paul's family. Who is fooling who? And about the Saraki's Issue you are bringing up, Saraki may not be the solution to Nigerians problem but definitely anyone from another party other than the demonic APC will do better than Buhari.. And there will be no need for ÀPC to try using state apparatus to gain leadership in those state abi?
Performance is relative, the man in river or akwa ibom will also claim to have performed or that PDP have performed over the years. Mendelssohn: Finally, we have been given yet another vent for a lacuna to asseverate for the umpteenth time that popular votes in electoral contests are not acquired by online reverberating ballyhoo or mere centrifugal excrescence of housewife tales, preponderating over a centripetal proclivity of contemporary lexicon and archeological threads of commonplace analysis intertwined with speculative deductions. Even the much idolized US consular has unequivocally averred (against the risk of sounding platitudinously humdrum) that today's exercise of franchise, to the acme and zenith of his comprehension, was a good apotheosis of democratic decorum, one that is void of nkugbuological tantrum and violence. In this state of euphoria in adagio, I acknowledge the conduct of the election into the office of the prima ballerina of osun political natividad and the ever rugged, dogged and inexorably pertinacious governor himself, who as coruscating and quintessential as the word democracy in itself, decided to stay recussant rather than recumbent in this electoral odyssey, despite the imaginative contrivance of victory by the Prime opposition party in the first phase of the electoral exercise and of course, the vaudeville of malodorous anomalies perpetuated by relentless vitriolic effusion in the cyberspace among other irregularities, many of which were mutual between the two major contenders anyway. It is high time we sounded it once more to the auditory sensitivity of many of us that the PDP has been decimated and insidiously being confined within the political ambience of the SS and SE. Ostensibly once more, we have seen the embodiment of people's opinion, not ones won on social platforms and I hope subsequent ones follow trend. Yeepa, we will NOT have this, do you want to kill the F9 parallel dancing crew or what?. |

Who's more qualified in terms of certificates between Jonathan and Buhari? We both know it should be Jonathan but how come with all his education and certificates he messed the country up but Buhari that is not close to Jonathan based on certificate is better off. So if Adeleke will perform better because he had F9 he shouldn't be given a chance? Cos that's what you were saying You still don't get it, Jonathan did NOT perform because he is NOT MENTALLY PREPARED FOR IT. Check how he came in, the responsibility fell on him 'cause this is what the constitution says. And the people prefair the vice president to take charge of the country, than some cabals running the country through proxy aka TURAI. Unfortunately, Jonathan still fell into the captivity of the same Cabal and here we are today. You can not also compare Buhari with Adeleke, Buhari is not an illiterate, how can a graduate of the prestigious American war college be an illiterate?. If Omisore or the runner up to Adeleke had been selected as PDP candidate, PDP would have won this election fair and square since Saturday. The REASON for the cliffhanger on Saturday is the QUALITY of the PDP candidate and other SELFISH interests. |
