its not a tribal thing but a nigerian thing ok take 4 example 70% of yoruba boys in england, america, and all other western countries clone credit cards 4 a living. That i have seen. Stealing peoples identity and rubing them off thier hard earned cash.
This is not an excuse for for comitting suicide.
Don't you think the people involved in credit card fraud are way sensible than those risking their lives to traffic drugs to Asia being fully aware of the penalty involved?.

I never knew that the Ethiopian Jews are Muslims, anyway learn to read before you comment, stop displaying your laziness or should I say ignorance on a public forum like this.
The Ethiopian Jews popularly known as Betha-Israel are Jews of African descent, these are the descendants of Solomon / Sheba.
They were living a quiet life in Ethiopia before the state of Israel went to "exodused" them to Israel, only to be subjected racial discriminations.

If you want to scare little children, just say I'll CANE you.
If you want to finish PDP, just say we'll use PVC Reader.
God bless you Bro, the use of card reader actually killed PDP.
You need to see how PDP was buying pvc in my hood, but when it dawned on them that the card reader must authenticate the card owner or else no voting, most of these cards were returned to the owners and they also have to do away with the clones they've made.
PDP had to result to aggressive campaign and cash inducements which actually left them at the mercy of the electorates who were already disgusted by PDP's style of governance.

Yorubas are visionless. Awolowo never believed in anything that's why he died like nothing. He is coward. He has no choice of his. Zik bring him to nigeria, Gowon kept him in Nigeria even to this days.

Yorubas fight for your own country. ..Nigeria is not a country. ..

It is Yoruba cowardice and timidity that make them want Igbos to remain in Nigeria. Igbos give those cowards a kind of protection and cover from their masters up north. That is why if igbos secede now, yorubas will secede from their Hausa masters.

Yorubas fight for your country. Nigeria is a mere geographical expression. .didn't your hero said that? You lot are lazy cowards with no vision. Your only vision is ND oil

Your hero committed suicide. Your hero is coward who never fight for your freedom. Your hero had no choice of his, remember Zik made him accept nigeria and Gowon made him stay in Nigeria. Your hero believed nothing and die like nothing. ..WHAT A BIG SHAME
Who is this, are you alright?, Yoruba are sitting pretty in their homeland working quietly on the actuallization of their dreams, while a wandering caveman like you out of despiration to throw spanners in their wheel of progress is on nairaland raving mad.

EUROBOMBER:
The Biafran soldiers moved towards the West because Lagos was Nigeria's capital and the war was being planned and prosecuted from there. The aim was to capture Lagos from the Northerners and secure the state thereafter launch an offensive up north.

It was not about annexing Lagos or the West like most Yorubas think today.
You lied, that move was an annexation agenda period.
It's like saying Uthman Dan Fodio jihad was a religious war when actually it was a political war.

All of us can't be the same, this is their own approach, it is called "carpetbagger method" Yoruba will go about it strategicaly while Hausa will go about it violently.
Strategic and carpetbagger methods are ok to me while the Hausa's violent approach is a no no for me, so the Igbos are still on point.

You can't work for fidelity & expect salary from GTB nba
You guys are making more demands than yoruba & Hausa combined. As a matter of fact I've not heard of any demand from any yoruba group
Ogbonaya Onu actually merit that position, he is a detribalized Igbo man, and he has always been faithful to GMB's quest to serve this country.
I used to like three Igbo politicians, Chukwuemeka Ezeife since the days of AD, I like Ngige because he is a fighter, Ogbonaya Onu for his humility and perseverance.
Ogbonaya Onu reminds me of Dr Alex Ekwueme, he is a man that actually fits the position so it should be given to him.

If Buhari ever wants to achieve a sanitized government, he must learn to slate down the rules to all. Tinubu has been bragging all around town to be the brain behind his success, that's false! He only played a part in the success. Buhari was an already established force before this whole APC thing. As it stands right now he sud know his place in APC n not act like a Godfather to a grandfather. No one sud ever let him dictate the doings of the APC, cos that's where the problem will emanate.

Why not recommend that Tinubu be expelled from APC, when Tinubu was putting it together against all odds where were your folks or are they blind?.

Politics › Re: Founder(s) Of Lagos Edo Civilization, Esan War Machine And The Founding Of Lagos by 7lives: 9:22am On Apr 28, 2015
The OP to some extent is making sense, I for one have been telling my mum that her ancestors are probably from Benin.
My mother is a princess from the ruling house of Otto. My mother use to say an I quote "Olotto lo l'eko" meaning Oba of Otto is the owner of Lagos.
She said Olotto is the senior brother of Eleko the Oba of Lagos.
That Oniru that is now the Oba of Victoria island (Maroko) was actually an Abore ( shrine keeper).
She said only 2 kings were recognized by tradition in Lagos, that other kings were actually vassals cheifs that have now been elevated to the status of an Oba due to mordernization and these kings still pay tributes to Olotto, Eleko is sitting, on an island so not much land is available for farming but fishermen and traders pay him duties too.
I say what about Aro the Ojora? she said Ojora is an extension of Olotto clan.
To cut the long story short, all these title holders, Olotto, Eleko, Oniru, and Aro are the real powers in Lagos and any time they come out to the public for traditional event, "they must be dressed in white wrapper and that single Benin like bead with their white cap on their head and they don't wear tops, their chest must be bare ".
And their traditional songs even my mum can't understand, they still dance anyway, and they are fetish, men they've got idols.
One day I told my mother that from my observation, "everything going on in your palace and the drums, the beats, the dressing and your traditional songs and dance exposed your fore fathers origin as Benin but what I don't understand is the correlations between Olofin Ashaye your patriarch and Benin tradition.
However contradictions in the identity of Lagos indigene is not an excuse to call their land a no man's land.
The prosperity of Lagos state was devinely ordained by God.
When Ifa (Oracle) asked the two surviving grand children of Olofin to thow one single stone each as a way of sharing their father's properties, when the first Eleko's stone fell into the Lagoon he wept because his land is too small to sustain him and his family, he is the younger one and the spoilt rotten one, and his brother get to inherit all the remaining lands !!.
But Ifa encouraged him to persevere as that " small parcel of land will be a center of commerce in future.
The first Eleko persevere and look at Lagos island today, the wealth of Lagos state today originates from the perseverance of the first Eleko.
"Olokun bu soke" means the Goddess of the sea blessed us. Virtually everything sells in Lagos, Eko g'bole o gba ole, anybody can make it in Lagos.
But the goddess of the sea that bless you in Lagos can dispossessed you of everything if you become too big for your shoes, this is what Eleko Oba Akinlolu was talking about.
Owo Eko Eko l'ongbe meanimg what you make in Lagos stays in Lagos s a curse that can be activated" so visitors beware.

The north has seceded in bullying us to submission nd proving it to us that they can do anything nd get away with it. Today they did it to gej a s. S man tomorrow it will be a yoruba or an igbo man. This people killed Nigerians through boko haram, through the fulanis they boosted of it nd yet they got power. Funny enough some of us re trying to justify this statement but we never knew we re directly throwing our weight behind the Norths exceses nd we must not cry wen the consequences of our stupidity starts staring us in the face
Nobody bullied me, I voted for a change of government.

it is so sad to see a man that forgets history & play god to another man. OBJ is an ingrate. How will he so soon forget how he was saved from the gallows by good spirited Nigerians & providence.

What will OBJ benefit if Buruji Kuruji goes to jail? In 2003 this same Kashamu sponsored many of OBJ‘s campaign tour & donated so many vehicles to OBJ‘s campaign.

A weak man is that man who can not forgive but goes all the way to rubish that man that offended him.

If Adenuga can survive OBJ... Buruji can.
If Amaechi can survive OBJ... Buruji can.
If Tinubu can survive OBJ... Buruji can.

If the Igbos can survive OBJ... Buruji can & will survive this odeal.
Obj is not responsible for Kashamu's crisis so what are you talking about?.
Kashamu should have known that his sins shall surely find him, bottomline, stay clean, crime does not pay.

There are remnants of truth in these kinda thing . But all power players understands that power can't remain in one place for too long ,else it will self-destruct. Ulterior motives or not, northern Nigeria wants to remain relevant in the polity of Nigeria. And to me, that is understandable.
Aribisala is a bad infuence on todays youth and people should be wary of him.
If an elderly man like Aribisala can not call spade a spade, then the youths are in trouble.
Agenda or no agenda, it is not right for president Goodluck to agree to one tenor only to deny saying such.
This is why majority of the SW were like " abeg make this man carry him wahala go front and I believe maladministration and that his wife is another factor.
