You see all the votes APGA are raking in in Anambra? Those votes are for PDP in 2023. The truth is that the presidency is going back to the North. A Northern candidate will win in 2023. He will be voted in by the East and the North. If the South East are not good for Presidency, the North might as well keep it.
The North is no longer Igbo problems?.
The same North that Igbos been dey give bad name since, wey IPOB don almost kill half of Igboland, while hating on?

Always threatening and barking out orders, Igbos have NEVER support SW in anything and this is a fact.
Why do you think SW opted to do politics with the North?. do your politics make Yoruba do theirs how difficult is this for you lots to understand?.

the boycott call off was a great decision
do you know how many political miscreants hiding behind ipob to cause mayhem?
and all the blame will go to ipob?
at least on Saturday anyone causing trouble will be known as political thug not ipob.
Nigerian government is on a intensive media mudslinging to justify their improper label of ipob as a terrorist group and ipob seems to be helping them without knowing.
the call off will disappoint many pro government and it's a win for ipob.
I said it before that they should always think critically before acting or issuing statements.
they act before thinking and that's the major problem they have.
at least the security personnel buhari invited to slaughter innocent igbos and label them ipob should now rest.

It's unfortunate that even the Op doesn't know what he is saying.
How could you possibly say that igbo land is landlocked; how could you ever believe that narrative; how could you repeat that?
This shows how shallow one could really be.
Let me state it categorically clear to whoever wants to believe that Uzoakwa river in Ihiala Local Govt of Anambra state is the closest route to the Atlantic ocean.
Nigeria state started a dredging work before now in that river and then abandoned it for Lagos.
For anyone who cares to know, Igboland is never and will never be landlocked.
Nowhere in Lagos is being dreged.
If you believe Igbo land is not land locked, tell merskline to deliver your container to you at izoakwa river grin grin grin

Correction:

1)There was a Benin empire, as shown in the precolonial map below. (The Mao is from Gallica website).
2) there was no oyo empire, indeed.
3) I don't think it is even reasonable at this point to dispute the existence of Benin empire, with all the media attention around Benin bronzes even toddlers today know that there was a Benin empire.

https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/btv1b8595583b.r=Benin?rk=150215;2
4) it is due to the existence of Benin empire that the Oba of Benin had a trade monopole in the region, which was one of the reasons the British went to war against Benin. Also the bight if Benin git itS name from an empire called Benin.
You get time explaining things to that guy, ignore him abeg.

Ok, since you asked for it.

Number 1, look well it's a she not a he

You don't agree with a book I wrote, get pen and paper and write your own book chikena! But because you are a trouble fermenter, No, you won't.

You and your kinsmen are the delusional ones here. You have what we call initial gragra and it ends there.
You'd think you know, meanwhile there's nothing upstairs.

The same oversabi attitude is what you have brought into today's political space. No worthy illustrious Candidate for presidency when 2023 is so near. I personally feel south east should be allowed to occupy Aso rock this time but SE seems not to be anywhere near ready. No known political stalwart that can pull the force. That should be a source of worry for you and your generation unborn, not some ancient Alaafin that your grandparents never met alive.

See the divisions in your region. See the killings. How can a sane person be killing his own people all in the name of an agitation or advocacy? For what exactly? Those are the things you should concern yourself with. You can't seem to choose between Biafra and Nigeria. You either lack identity or some of you choose to be bastards. Your political leaders visit Abuja with double mouths. Set of very confused people.

This SW that you hate is where many of you earn your living. Go to Alaba, Go to Ajegunle, Go to Ladipo, Go to Tejuosho, Go to Computer Village, Go to Willoughby/Borno Way, Oyingbo, your brothers full ground. Despite your hate, we accommodate you because we're wiser, you boost (develop) our commerce.

I have Ibo friends, they're great people. My closest neighbor is an Igbo man.

But you see some of you, especially you and your likes are just busy little bees. You are inconsequential. We will crush you! Don't just sit behind your keyboard and type rubbish with your leprosy infested fingers, Be warned!
What is all this na?.
Why are you giving these people attention?.

I've actually been to the Alaafin's palace and it doesn't look anything like this

Take a hard look at that throne, it's a massive artwork.
It's also huge, it's not something that could easily be carried around.

What are the key takeaways?

If the so called founding fathers were still alive to see the Nigeria of today, I doubt very much they would still be believe in "one Nigeria"

Nigeria was an experiment to see if the ethnic nationalities that the British brought together could build a united progressive nation. It has since proved to be a spectacular failure

No point carrying on with failure. No point being together for the sake of being together. It is time to dissolve this failed unity and go our separate ways rather than fighting each forever over a union that will never work
Nigeria was not an experiment, three regional governments were in place, SW was doing well under Awolowo until some never do well, decided to ko eran mo ero, more like trying to stop our progress around here.
Thank God the children are reaping the fruits of their fore fathers greed.

Which kind of protection do u expect securities to give? I think it was the same protesters that killed and eat the flesh of many police officers and now u are saying this nonsense.
Useless protesters with no conscience, if u protest against SARS then why can't they honour the dead police officers who are fathers, mothers, sisters and brothers to many people. The police officers killed from the time of the protest to now is more than thrice the number killed by SARS, so what is the point of this idiocy?
Protest can't solve anything, better get ur PVC and vote for good people rather than descending hatred to people who are oblivious to ur distress!

it was proof our voices were powerful and can be heard. I honestly thought dt was the point the protests should've ended.

But the protesters weren't smart, in hindsight. They should have quit while ahead. I was still kind of in support until they started looting malls and pples homes. Then when they attacked the oba of Lagos palace, burnt tinubus TVC it turned sinister.

Protests just have to be organised in a way dt it doesn't descend into chaos. Pple wt ulterior motives such as hoodlums, politicians, tribalist will always take advantage of chaos.
It was a coordinated attack, this was why people with higher understanding concluded it was Jan 1966 all over again.
