DeadorAlive: And why is Yorubas so greedy that they refused to allow Igbo Presidency.
Obasanjo ruled for 8yrs as President
Osinbajo ruled for 8yrs as VP
Still yet Yorubas want Tinubu for another 8yrs It all started when Your fore father Azikiwe, deceptively invited Awo to Enugu for political merger. Awo flew to Enugu to meet Azikiwe, but Azikiwe was already in Kaduna Signing political merger with Ahmadu Bello. This was how Azikiwe pushed Awo and SW into opposition. See no be today na since independence, Yorubas have since mastered the art of political survival. Did you realized how many years SW spent in opposition while SE and the CALIPHATE NORTH holds sway?. Our odds MUST be even out, what is good for the goose, is equally good for the gander. Feel free to ask further questions. |

So you are also of this opinion?, if you understand this country, you will never join anyone to insult BAT. A knowledgeable and honourable man like the great Awolowo, was eulogized as the best president Nigeria NEVER had, by the people that labeled him a tribalist, for defending his region's interests. Tinubu is their worthy adversary, " nitori werey ita, laa se ni ti inu Ile ". And there are still more worthy adversaries, waiting to continue when BAT retires. Ki eku Ile gbo, ki o so fun ti oko. SW will Never play opposition again in this country. |

U think Deloitte and Mobil did not do a background check on someone who schooled in their country? He even was a scholar and has hosted his graduation set. He made a GPA of 3.5 out of a maximum of 4.0. How can someone forge a result where he topped his class? He would be easily exposed.
Enough of these fabricated bullshit! Deloitte is even one of those who help other firms do a background check and you are telling me they didn't check? How does that sound to you yourself?
Arthur Andersen also didn't check? So, he became a whole Treasurer of Mobil without being scrutinized? Don't let bitterness make you look crazy PLS! Omo easy on them na head dey pain them. |

You are the most foolish person ever to live. The betrayers of Southern Nigeria are the Yurobas, don't claim that you don't know. If the South has followed the principle of justice by throwing their support for a president from South East, I am telling you the North will not find any ground to come out and contest. The Yurobas made things easy for them because of their greediness. You can't rule for 16 years(8 of Obasnjo and 8 of Osibanjo) and still want to contest? If it's possible then they can. Northerners wouldn't have contested for the office of the Presidency, if the South has thrown their weight on south east. Continue to deceive yourself. |

SenatePresdo: Nigga, every Igbo man knows that Peter Obi is almost never going to win in 2023.
We know that, we even knew he doesn't stand a chance in PDP primaries it it wasn't consensus.
The goal is to be very sure that Power remains in the North since Yoruba people are this wicked.
You want to do 24 years (OBJ 8, Osinbajo 8, and Tinubu 8 ) while no Igbo man has done 3 months. Haba na, where are you guy's conscience? If there should be Southern unity, who should it be for in 2023? SW or SE?
Well since southern unity is all about the SW, then its dead on arrival.
Power belongs to the North then. Since independence SW and SE have NEVER agree on anything politically. Keep your inconsequential votes jor. |

We have all seen how we intentionally recycle old leaders and when they take over power and starts dealing with us we'll start complaining. Weather Wike failed or not I think he is the most outstanding for his courage and I give it to him. He saw it coming but he wanted to prove a point and he did. We are never cowards. I'm proudly a Nigerian and a Riverian. The last time I posted anything on this forum was last year, your post made me log in, Wike deserve lots of respect. kayjay69: i did not say Yorubas did fade away even though yhe Oyo Empire has gradually recessed since the Yoruba Civil Wars and the Yoruba -Fulani wars of the 1800s.
i was referencing the fact that in the world, alot of groups and ethnicities have had their cultural identities swallowed up by other tribes and ethnicities thereby making the former dormant. and more often than not, a period of weak, aimless, short-sighted leadership usually accompanies this gradual, steep descent into oblivion. I understand what you are saying but will you prefer that Yorubas recessed into empire era, or play permanent opposition politics like we did until of recent?. I'm happy with the way Yorubas are playing now, at least we are getting some respects and benefits. Unlike before when we carry Nigeria matter for head like gala. Politics › Re: Adebanjo: Afenifere Does Not Believe In Secession by 7lives: 3:21pm On Nov 13, 2021 |
kayjay69: Baba Adebanjo with due respect sir, i do not think the Afenifere believe in anything at all nor do they represent the best interests of the Yoruba people.
The time aged rule of negotiation would have you demanding for secession but in reality getting something close to restructuring, and even this is a pipe dream because the people on the other end of the negotiating table are'nt even interested in talking reasonably to you.
So rather than raise the bar with hopes of getting something lower, Afenifere has lowered the bar with the negotiations have'nt even started yet.
With the way things are with the country, Restructuring is no longer a viable option unless we just want to postpone the inevitable. Better to fight now for what we believe in and build something for our future generation, but sadly no one wants to fight or put up a stand. Everyone would rather run to safe havens abroad than stand and fight for their own motherland.
With the way we are, I will not be surprised if we, the Yorubas, fade away in another 300-400 years. We are ripe for the taking and before you attack me please note such as happened before in history, it can happen again. Tell us when Yorubas faded away. Mind you I'm a historian. |
