kingofchess: I Am Planning To Marry A Lady And This Happened. Pls Help
I am in my early 30 and I have been dating this lady for a year now and we are planning to settle down together and this happened.
There is this 11 months old baby in my compound who is very close to me and she just started walking. The very first time she saw my girl, she was soo scared and started crawling very fast towards her mum and crying. I quickly ran after her and carried her back to where my girl was sitting down, this time, the crying and running became very intense, I was shocked and I asked why the baby was so scared of her and she said she doesn't know.
Two days later, she came to my place and immediately this baby saw her she was scared and crying that was when I jokily asked her if she is a witch and she got angry and left my house. After she left, a lot of questions started running through my mind: like, is she a witch? Does she has a marine spirit? What did that little girl saw in her? In fact a lot of questions. She later called that same night and was like; baby, I am not possess ooh, I should not allow this little baby come between us ooh and that she loves me very much.
To cut the story short, less than two weeks later, the baby DIED. I was so scared if the baby actually saw something in her and she decided to shut the baby up ( I don't know, just an assumption).
Ever since then, I have been scared of my girl and I really don't know what to do. Please, I need your candid advice. Please guys, how can i make the moderators move this post to front page. TOO MANY NIGERIANS STILL RESIDE IN THE STONE AGE...
RIP to the poor baby... Clearly, doesn’t seem she was surrounded by people enlightened enough to take adequate care of her or take her for regular checkups.> |

The FG should have the interest of its citizens at heart because it is a sabotage, treason and destruction. What do you mean by “interest of the citizens”? The government to continue running NEPA for over 50 years since Independence without producing much electricity?Privatization is NOT the problem (as I said, Nigerians often MISDIAGNOSE our problems), but rather that the government is not keeping to the agreements made with the investors in the privatized DISCOs to allow for cost-reflective tariffs. festacman: International Conference Centre Abuja, National Theatre Lagos, refineries in Kaduna, PH and Warri that waste TAM money every year, Nigeria Film Corporation that existed for ages and achieved nothing, etc. etc. should be sold to generate money rather remain cost centres. If not for Igbo traders Trade Fair Complex Lagos wouldn't be 60% utilized though 40% is still wasting away.
Now, the problem is not selling but who are the BUYERS. Don't sell to Indians for they will sell assets and take money home. Don't sell to political party members for they will not add any value. Sell to local or foreign firms who are already in business or known and proven entrepreneurs with clear utilization and development plans.
But this is Nigeria. The last time we sold DISCOs, it was shared among politicians without any improvement in light. It wasn’t! And even if it was, that’s NOT the problem with electricity supply. A big problem in Nigeria is that we constantly MISDIAGNOSE our problems (or simply fail to learn the CORRECT lessons therefrom) and are therefore invariably condemned to repeating pretty much of same infinitum. For starters, the federal government stills holds 40 per of all of the DISCOs and therefore holds commensurate board positions in each of them. Accordingly, the government still wields influence over the operations of these DISCOs. If the government truly seeks improvement from DISCOs, they should allow them to charge cost-reflective tariffs that will enable to generate the sorts of balance sheets to attract enough equity and/or debt capital to invest in renovating, upgrading and generally improving the (60- 50-, 40-year old) mostly-decrepit distribution facilities that they inherited. A situation where electricity is produced at an average of N60/KWH and sold for an average N40/KWH is untenable, and no prudent banker/financier are ever going to deem these DISCOs as bankable! Meanwhile, how can a nation that does not respect the rule of law, where the government often does not respect contracts, reneges on commercial agreements, and harasses some of its biggest investors, expect to attract reputable investors. Frankly, if there is any silver lining in the Swamp of Corruption that is Nigeria it is that there are apparently “politicians” DUMB enough to still invest (aka put their stolen funds) in Nigeria rather than simply salting their loot away abroad. > |

masterP042: Obinwanne is a wise guy, although making money illegally, he fronted a legit and clean company. Was able to launder his image too, to be able to get to Forbes and even give lectures to havard students. To him yahoo was just a way to create capital and funds to pursue and acheive his multi billion dreams which a devilish country like Nigeria have already dashed. He was also wise enough to coperate with the feds to aid investigations, and that fast tracked his trials and sentencing. As for hushpuppy, he's gone and gone forever, upon all his money, no visible investment in Nigeria or anywhere to front his money. Obinwanne targeted multi billion caterpillar company, but hushpuppy decided to divert ventilator funds at the beginning of a pandemic. And having known he's been caught, instead of pleading guilty and cooperating he was busy hiring expensive lawyers and claiming not guilty. Fbi will transfer his case to a judge whose spouse, child or close family was killed by covid 19, his trial will still be extended for him to spend his remaining money on lawyers, he'll be finally sentenced, and trust me, upon his release he'll be injected with moronic injection.
