How can she “used to have sex with yinka” - when she only met Yinka that day?!

Maybe some people cannot get head around just how EVIL some cretins can be, and keep trying to mitigate what is pure EVIL (allegedly)!

Its your curse that you have to always follow the crowd even when they dont make sense.

How would like it if that girl pointed you out as a rapist and no body bothered to hear your side of the story?

How do you feel when people claim you did something you didnt do but no one gives you a Chance to talk?

Now read the story again and tell me how it feels to have no say just because a girl who all of use agree are bloody liars is claiming that some guys raped her.
That’s why the matter is before a Court of Law - where conviction is based on proof beyond a reasonable doubt.

Doyin Salami should be in consideration for CBN Governor.

Personally, I would opt for Bismarck Rewane, but he is probably too intelligent for this government.
BusinessRe: CBN Governor: Aishah Ahmad, 8 Others Struggle For Emefiele's Job - Daily Sun by 9jaRealist: 1:48pm On Feb 26, 2019
References:
As the clock ticks away for the tenure of the Central Bank Governor, Mr Godwin Emefiele, speculations are rife that a woman top banker, Mrs Aishah Ahmad, one of his deputies, and any among eight others may be his likely successor if he’s not re-appointed, although the position has a tradition of rotating between the north and the south.

The other eminent Nigerians being thought fit for the job include Professor Soji Adelaja, Mohammed Dikwa, Bismarck Rewane, Umaru Abdul Mutallab, Obadiah Mailafia, Bello Maccido, Adesola Adeduntan and Herbert Wigwe.

What makes the position of an apex bank governor tick is its direct implication on the economy as he is expected to advise the president on both fiscal and monetary policies from time to time. Aside this, the CBN Act, 2007, states that the Governor is expected to formulate, for the approval of the Board, general rules and any subsequent amendments thereto, providing for:

•The safe keeping of the common seal of the bank

•The safe keeping of the assets of the bank and of valuables entrusted to the bank

•The safe keeping of stocks of unissued or redeemed currency and the preparation, safe custody and destruction of plates and paper for the printing of currency notes and disc for the minting of coins

•The protection of bank notes and coins in transit

•The conditions under which any Zonal Controller, Branch Controller or Currency Officer may be appointed; and

•The conditions governing discounts and advances

•The exercise of dual control and general security throughout the bank; and

•Such additional arrangement which may be made to ensure the efficient working of the bank, through proper observance of security and the accuracy of the accounts of the bank.

As a result of these, an online platform, North East Star, is of the opinion that professional background, regional consideration and international exposure come to play in determining who becomes the CBN governor.

“Given the extreme market reactions to changes on who heads the central bank in some emerging markets, the professional background of the central bank governor must suggest that he or she has the experience to devise and run an effective monetary policy for the country.

“And going by the federal character provisions in any federal appointment in Nigeria. A critical look at the table shows that all the past CBN governors and their tenure suggests that regional consideration plays an active role in the appointment of the central bank governor. One thing is very clear: the position has a tradition of alternating between the north and the south (Prof. Charles Soludo from the South, then Sanusi L. Sanusi from the north, then Mr. Emefiele from the south).

“Again, President Buhari and his government will like to see someone with international exposure and expertise as the next CBN czar. The next CBN governor will be someone who knows how the Breton Woods institutions operates, who has some training from Harvard or Cambridge, someone whom the international financial world can respect,” it adds.

In its February 15 edition, an online medium, www.newsonbanks.com, stated that President Muhammadu Buhari was considering Mrs Ahmad as the substantive governor when Emefiele’s term expires in June.

The news outlet , quoting ‘a highly dependable source from the presidency’ states that “it is not yet clear if there are strong economic reasons for this, considering Emefiele’s sterling performance in stabilising the Naira in the winds of the economic turbulence, hellish recession and sluggish recovery that have plagued President Buhari’s years in office.”

The CBN Governor’s tenure expires in the first week of June and the elected President would be sworn in on May 29, “So the President is being pressured to submit her name to the Senate immediately before or after the election and ensure that it is considered and approved before the end of May,” the presidency source said.Aishah Ahmad, 42, is the youngest member of the CBN Board and oversees the Financial Systems Stability Directorate of the apex bank. She replaced Dr Sarah Alade who retired in March 2017. If this Senate approves her nomination, she will be the youngest and the first female CBN Governor in Nigeria and the first female to hold the position in Africa.

However, aside Mrs Ahmad, an in-depth research and investigation conducted by North East Star revealed that eight others are currently being scrutinized and assessed for the job. These include Professor Soji Adelaja,an economist and John A. Hannah Distinguished Professor at Michigan State University (MSU), USA; Mohammed Kyari Dikwa, a holder of phd in Accounting and Finance, whose success in coordinating the TSA and the blockage of billions for the government through PICA was said to have endeared him to the President; Bismarck Rewane, a financial analyst and the Managing Director of Financial Derivatives Company; Umaru Abdul Mutallab, former CEO of UBA and ex-Chairman of First Bank of Nigeria and Obadiah Mailafia, a former CBN deputy governor in charge of monetary policy, foreign exchange operations, investment management, research, statistics, and cooperation with international institutions. The rest are Bello Maccido, the Chairman of FBN Merchant Bank; Adesola Adeduntan, Managing Director/CEO ,First Bank of Nigeria Limited and Herbert Wigwe, Group Managing Director/CEO , Access Bank Plc.

Seems like every woman in those pictures was carrying a baby or two. Mixed-race is better (but of course "human" is always the best cool)

Half-caste is generally considered offensive because it implies that the person is 'half pure' (with the connotation being that the white half is the pure half).

It's so funny how Nigerians are leaving their free and just country in droves to go live in a well and long established racist nation like United States. Listen to yourself.

Until black people in America let go their past and face the future, they would always be running from the shadows of racism. It's a good thing most whites a beginning to concentrate on facts and realities on ground as opposed to emotional blackmail coming from blacks.

If not for facts and careful investigation your statistics would also included smollet's case. But with time, race hustlers would be left to live in their 17th century bubble.
Have you heard of Morton Downey, Jr.? How about the Boston doctor that shot and killed his wife but reported that they were attacked by a Black man (before committing suicide when his tales fell apart)? Or Susan Smith who drove her two kids into a lake and drowned them, but reported that her car had been hijacked by a Black man with her kids inside it?

Not sure why you seem to think that this is the first or only instance of such false claims in the US or that they only involve alleged black victims - except perhaps you are still struggling to understand the country/society that you have fortuitously immigrated into.

She may well be called all that, but she is unlikely to be treated poorly...
It’s not about what you are called (African-Americans call each other “nigga”) but what it means contextually.

I have lived in white neighborhood all my stay in USA especially. I have realized that with those guys, you are addressed as you are dressed. I have received more favors from whites than blacks and I have been called derogatory names by blacks, than whites I have come in contact with .

Long story short, blacks who complain of racism are mostly racist themselves. I usually tell them to look themselves in the mirror, one time I worked for southern gentle man who treated everyone with respect. Before we knew it the most favored staff accused him of racism and investigation followed.

Finally, it was determined that he was favored amongst all the staffs, besides the fact he occupied a position he's not qualified for, there was no evidence the man called him any derogatory names or any of us at that .

In 2010 I was denied a scholarship that I was over qualified for. The only criteria then is that you have to be a Nigerian, score certain points in SAT, and toefl. In addition be admitted to Maine Maritime Academy. I got all that. Yet I was denied, only to find out the 20 positions were filled by northern Nigeria.

In USA however, I got all that was due to me and more. Even one time I found myself in a financial aid office where a white guy was denied aid cause he did not qualify yet I got it in full.

The black problem is embedded within them, the white man has no business with that.
Abegi, enough with ephemeral overgeneralizations. undecided

Racism is (and has always been) real and alive in these United States! In fact, Nigerians had voted in at least 3 national elections before African-Americans were granted the right of universal suffrage pursuant to the Voting Rights Act of 1965, and while Nigerians were busy jostling for the highest political and professional positions in the land, African-Americans were still being lynched in public squares and made to suffer the indignity of separate facilities while being refused service at department stores and lunch counters and accommodation in hotels as well as being denied admission to state schools under nefarious Jim Crow laws.

Not only is it therefore the legacy of the literal blood sweat and tears of African-Americans that many of the benefits Nigerians/Africans enjoy today in the US accrue from, but also it was the tireless and vigorous campaign of African-Americans for a more racially-diverse immigration system that led to the Diversity Visa Lottery that brought so many Nigerians/Africans to the US. So please don’t be so arrogant not to acknowledge the reality of African-Americans in the US - and not just the crude street racism but the more insidious institutionalized racism.
