So for those of you finding it difficult to get a cheap flight to your destinations, I have an offer for you all.... If you can get a cheap flight from lagos to houston and from houston to your destination, I am willing to pick you from the airport, host you for a day or two and drop you off for your onward travel at the airport. So if you are willing to take up my offer, hit me up and maybe I can help you in your flight search to get the cheapest one possible. #mywayofgivingbacktonl |

Mekurexx: Alright that works for me. Thanks bro. One more question, do I need transit visa(dubai) on an emirates flight? most of the flights I am seeing have long-layovers plus when I tried to book, it showed something like visa If it's emirates and dubai.... I think the airline will take care of that... just fill in any details they require from you. |

Governoryomi: Good morning house. i already applied for B1/B2 visa twice last year, June and October, but was denied. I have again now gotten an invitation in a first tier educational institution for a short program of 5days, of which i was advised to apply for visit visa as i-20 can't be issued to me as i do not need students F 1 visa, for such short program. Now my question is this, any hope of getting it right this time around, even with this kind of situation. I know how it feels to have tried it twice and failed, though i have learnt from past failures, coupled with my exposures here. I now know better! Kindly add your advices and comments pls. Lagos or abuja? Which is better? I have been to both in my past failed attempts. What does your last 2 transcripts looks like? |

Mekurexx: For Form A, check diamond bank. A big branch or their Head office. About your write up, can you confirm one can pay using CBN rate at bank counter,? Cuz qatar etihad etc all showing USD. How did you pay yours? Secondly Cheapest Emirates to where im going is N700k Can i do lets say one way to JFK or closer airport, then book a local US flight to where im going? (I will have the ticket in hand) Or do a bus-strip(stressful i know) cuz most airlines stops is Chicago, JFK, or newark. Plus what you said about 4 seats remaining is true. Its as if the whole world is traveling this Aug Gurus advise oh @ gunther6 Which airport are you flying to? |

gunther6:
A word is enough for the wise. Book directly from the airline website. To the best of my knowl edge having travelled with different carriers, Emirate has the best economical price coupled with good services and Nigerian friendly meals. It's possible you get other cheap flights but, whatever emirate offers you coupled with their service is worth it. Reserve your flights between 2am and 6am and try to select a mid week flight ie between tuesday and thursday. Try to pay at the bank to get the best exchange rate possible. Just my 2cents |

This people are not sadist, they swore to a constitution and they are only trying to protect that Angela Swtty , if you av a good reason to come, abeg do if not think twice |

nellyalph: Greetings all I got admission in a school in Texas to study bsc nursing, and I already have a bsc in biology edu
I was advised to say that my highest educational qualification is SSCE. Reason being that the school is a community college and it will be absurd to say you are going for a second degree
I want to know how possible it will be for a 24 yrs old not to have gone to school after 8yrs(ssce)??
How do I co relate the gaps since 2008 I wrote waec?
Is there anything wrong with the community colleges??
Pls someone should answer me. Will submit my ds 160 form tomorrow. . Do not shoot yourself in the leg, there is no crime in going for a second degree. All you have to do is explain to the VO y you wish to start your second degree from a community college.... |

Bussy123: In DS-160 there is a question: "Who is paying for your US trip?" I have a fully funded Phd offer, so should I fill self funded or university's name?
Do you have any immediate relatives, not including parents, in the United States? I have my elder brother in CA. He is a citizen. Should I answer Yes? I just wanted to truthful as I can.
Please Advice.. Thanks Q1 Put your university name there. Q2 You are free to answer yes and put your brothers name there... Its a matter of choice and should not have any effect on your application. (though most people on here prefer to answer no cos answering yes might pose more question(s) from the VO) I hope this helps |

chrislong: cgpa wasn't that good. I kind of made some wrong turns. so am not really looking for a scholarship. I think I can face tests tho Go and get better funds then. Your 1.5 cannot even pay for a semester with accomodation and all. Not even with what dollar is saying right now. Anyway Google.com is your best friend. So search on there and see what schools are asking for. |

dolapoojo: Hello everyone,
I have a question and i would appreciate if someone who has been in this situation can advice or if u know someone who was..
I would be applying for my f1 soon and would like to travel with my child who is a US citizen, and because she is a citizen she wasnt indicated as a dependent on my I-20. My confusion now is do i go ahead and indicate on my application that I would be traveling with her or leave her out.
Thanks She is a citizen and she has the right to go to her country anytime she likes. Fear not America is her fatherland. Though u can indicate her on your application but the reason she was not indicated on your I-20 is because she doesn't need a visa before she can travel with you. |

Angelapinkytoes: I have a question ya'll,I have a valid visiting visa and my classes resume September..can I travel on my visiting visa instead of the F1 visa?? Then you will have to explain to the officer at the POE your reason for visiting..... and after he stamps you in, ask him if you will av to leave the US before your F1 can count. Am very sure the 30days rule on F1 is rigid. |
