There are no turbos or corollas and civics bro. Those cars have small engine but that doesn't make them slow. They accelerate faster especially the newer model ones and will hit top speed. The difference with v6 is v6 will hit top speed faster and will be more stable at top speed while 4 cyl engine will scream at top speed.

The MDX actually had Bluetooth and satellite radio (which doest work anyway). Just going by the topic of this thread, the navigation screen is just USELESS without the navigation DVD which doesn't work in Nigeria, so I was just stuck with a blank screen asking me to instert the DVD. I just wonder why acura didn't let the screen handle other stuff other than navigation.

Most OEM navs bought in north America don't work in Nigeria, so buying a tokunbo car with navigation is kind of a waste of money, unless u just enjoy having the big screen there for show off. And unless that screen can play back media like DVD or music from SD cards. Most of the pre 2008 tokunbo cars I see that come with navigation can't play DVD or music from SD card so thats a waste of space. I have driven a 2004 acura MDX with navigation and it is as useless as anything. The navigation screen can't do anything, not even media playback as there is a separate screen for that. There's a separate DVD slot but can only take the navigation DVD which doesn't work in Nigeria. Same thing with my friend's Infiniti Fx45, that one displays audio on the navigation screen and that's about it, nothing else works, no DVD, not even Bluetooth or SD card, no iPod. USELESS.

However there are some aftermarket head units with navigation that play music or videos from SD cards and flash drive. The problem though is most are chinese made, good looking and functional no doubt, but their maps are always terrible (can't be compared to google maps at all). I currently installed one in my car and the navigation is a no go area, the thing go lead u enter lagoon if ur not careful. What I do enjoy about it though are Bluetooth connectivity, SD card and flash drive playback, DVD and mp3 playback and my favorite feature: iPod connection. My iPod lives in my car with over 4,000 songs from different genres and it displays album info on the screen.

Yes, it can be done.BUT it is gonna take ALOT of time, money and effort. Most if not all fuel injection systems are computer controlled. So you would need to buy and install all kinds of sensors, wiring and a computer that the Fuel Injection system will work with and communicate with. Also you would need to upgrade the camshaft, fuel system (higher fuel pressures) and ignition system.

it's about being proactive and not blaming your inability and mediocre performance on others and ur opposition.

Not in support of GEJ or Buhari, but the truth is it is difficult to control terrorism in a region dominated by moslems like northern Nigeria. USA, Britain that u mentioned, they don't have Moslems dominated regions like Nigeria. Trust me if they allow that religion to dominate then sooner or later there will be violence.

The problem with fighting terrorism in Nigeria isv that it is based on a religion fight and care must be taken not to trigger a religion war which could be brutal. Boko haram are Moslems, GEJ is a Christan, if he acts carelessly a religion war might be triggered. Yes boko haram kills Moslems too but don't get it twisted, if a raid is carried out other moslem leaders will support them turning into a religious war. As a matter of fact, only a fellow moslem can stop this with eas . Whether that person is buhari I don't know. All I know is this scenerio looks more delicate than most people see it. Maybe northern Nigeria should be separated from the south.

Like I said there is nothing special about them, Mark X is still not a better car than the Honda Avancier , Royal Crown got nothing royalty about it, RR is still the number one royal choice.
Royal Crown is marketed in the US/Canada as Lexus GS, still behind Honda Legend

What u fail to understand is american Toyota's are strimmed down to accomodate the Lexus as the luxury brand. In Asia they don't have Lexus so more details are paid to Toyota to make it luxurious. Search for Toyota aristo, Toyota Alphard and Toyota crown. These are Toyota's sold in Asia. Or and lest I forget, I rented a Toyota mark x in Malaysia and oh my that car is something else, 4wd and I asked myself why they didn't sell this car outside Asia.

Well I'm not a Honda fan let alone a diehard one, I say things the way I see them, even in Japan they know that Honda is the king and pacesetter.
All Acura cars comes with Honda's 5 star reliability and durability tag, whoever draft that crap to convince you that MDX will park up in 2 - 3 years is nothing but a skilled crafty LIAR.

Well I currently drive a Honda and I love it. I have driven the MDX and rx350 and I can tell u the rx350 is a better all round car. The MDX is just trying too hard to be what it is not.

Auto Trends, The Car connection and Edmunds are accredited car reviewers, no renowned automobile expert has ever rated RX above MDX especially in performance and tech.
MDX is so underrated bro, give it a Benz badge then it gets the recognition it deserves.

@chucky, I'm also a die hard Honda fan, but those Acura's are crap after a few years of use. You were wondering why a used Lexus is more expensive than a used Acura? It is because the mechanicals and powertrains of the Acura tend to fail very easily, they are not reliable like the Lexus. A wise man would always buy a used Lexus over an Acura. Acuras are fitted with some useless and complicated techs which make them break down easily. If u must include a tech, then try and perfect it or don't include it at all.

Just take a look at the pictures below and tell me if an Acura MDX is not CRAP compared to the RX in terms of overall quality, powertrain and features and accessories quality. Like I said earlier, the true quality of a car can only be known after a few years of use, so I am comparing 2012 and 2013 models of both cars. Everyone can see here that the MDX falls apart after 2-3 years while the RX stands its ground.

Bros, u and I know different websites will always have different views. The true test of the build quality and reliability of a car can only be achieved after a few years of use. KBB and US news rate the RX350 ahead of the Acura. And take a look at reliability ratings of both cars.

The advanced and tech package of MDX is slightly more expensive than Rx 350 F sport. Whether the MDX is more expensive than the Lexus RX450h that I don't know. But price is not everything, Lexus pays more attention to details when it comes to building luxury cars while acura focuses on tech packages, some which are useless and confusing.

Only automobile novice will choose RX over the MDX, there is a reason people pay $12,000 more to buy the MDX rather than RX in North America.

And why is the Lexus RX the highest selling mid size luxury cuv in the united states? Base price of the Rx and MDX are same. The highest trim of the Rx which is the F sport is about $49,000 while the advance and entertainment trim of the MDX is about $55,000. I don't see the $12,000 difference.

Like I said RLX competes with E class, Lexus GS, BMW 5 series and not LS or A8.
The premium unleaded V6 engine in the RLX is unrival by any of its direct competitors.

Since having a v8 engine is ur criteria to being a full size, then is it safe to call the Infiniti FX45 a full size? After all its got a 4.5L v8. In terms of mid size and compact, the accord and civic beats the Camry and corolla arms down. But when it comes to luxury, the Lexus is always ahead over the acura. Compare an MDX with Lexus RX. Honda don't even have a full size SUV unless u want to put a Honda pilot against Land cruiser.. Guy na die na.

Dude, Audi A8 has a 3.0L version and it doesn't stop it from being a full size luxury sedan. My point is being a full size is not totally dependent on the engine size. The Acura RLX is a full size, the only problem is that it is found wanting among its class.. PERIOD.

Truth is the car performed well on my return journey to warri and I didn't experience anymore water shortage. Then again, the temperature gauge was slightly below the half way mark and not the way you re putting it(Abatically). Even with the AC on, it still performed well enough.

Then again, I wouldn't use the car for a lifetime and as such, I'm not losing any sleep over any car problems. God will always provide the next car(s) for us all!!!

Your record is wrong bro, the RLX is classed as midsized sedan because of Honda's refusal to fit it a V8 engine which the car deserve. Try compare the RLX with A8 base model offering 3.0 V6.
Your LS with 4.6L V8 does 380hp while while RLX fitted with poorly 3.5L V6 does 310hp, take break for a second and imagine the RLX spotting a 4.6L V8 fully armed with Honda's 5 star reliability and durability tag.

The Acura RLX is a full sized Luxury Sedan dude, take it or leave it. It is nobody's fault that Honda refused to add a V8 engine and back seat entertainment and AWD. Every other thing from the wheelbase, size, length and trunk space all comply to full size car.

For the RLX to be compared with the big players like the A8, S class, BMX 7 shows it is a great car, just imagine the RLX with a V8.

No way, the acura TL is mid size while the RL/RLX is full size. Very good car no doubt but u sef know it can't stand where the 7 series, Audi s8 and Mercedes Benz S class are being mentioned. Lexus LS on the other hand will dine with those cars.

I don't see any way the RLX kills the LS in styling and design. That 'thing' doesn't even have an awd version yet. The back seat is so boring and dual LCD screen at the front could be confusing, no match for LS's interface and mouse like control. We should be comparing the RLX with Lexus ES. I mean u can't sell me a FWD car as a full size luxury sedan.

I have driven the 2014 accord. Love it and dual LCD looks good but inconsistent. When I'm playing some music on the media screen, sometimes it also appears on the navigation screen causing a duplicate. They brought the same thing into the RLX.

You prolly havent seen the RLX close enough, I have read head-to-head of both cars from renowned experts from lunch and I can tell you that the only thing limiting the RLX is the premium unleaded V6 engine.
Honda is coming with a V8 engine in 2015, watch RLX with a supercharged V8 engine blow LS to jupiter.

Until then, the LS is still a better full size luxury sedan than the RL .When listing full size sedan, the LS is a brand that is always mentioned along side Audi A8/S8 and Mercedes Benz S class.

They are both in the same class. It is not Toyota's fault that Honda don't put big displacement engine in their full size sedan. The RLX is no match for the LS both in performance and luxury.

Lexus LS is closely behind Mercedes Benz s class and Audi A8/S8 while the acura is no where to be found.
