I worked with a Labanese construction firm that's still paying between #19k - #25k/month to the workers based on categories. The worst of it is that representative from Ministry of Labor will come today on inspection, to collect money from the management without care to know about the welfares of the workers. The truth of the matter is that we have been enslaved in our own country. Lebanese and Syrian with a population of about 7 and 22 million are everywhere supervising projects in Nigeria. Nigeria Engineers are placed under them receiving orders from someone who doesn't have formal education and experience. Engineers are being paid peanuts. They will sack and employ like prisoners.
