Dude, seriously what is this "thing" you have written? |
Took me less than 4 mins. |
OP: You are embittered and resentful. That is a bad attitude. Stop infecting other good women with your bitterness...it is real and oozing from your post. The percentages of good marriages are much more than you think. Reduce the romantic comedies or nollywood movies you watch or better still, dont be easily impressionable. To have an enduring marriage, you need to know God and cultivate tolerance like itsmodella rightly said. Put simply, submit to your husbands, husbands love your wives. Neither is negotiable. This simple creed will bless any union if adhered to by both parties. |
@OP: I UNDERSTAND YOUR VIEWS. Remove the stigma and many ladies will remain single, abi? I think you're looking at the glass as half empty instead of half full. How? Why not tell our men to love and cherish their wives more? I'm sure ladies and men alike desire good things, marriage included. I think we should strike out the point that MEN SHOULD TREAT WOMEN BETTER. And funny enough, some women will even want to die for a wife-beater because he "handles me better","takes care of me" (money) and other foolish reasons. Ladies, please be wise too. Marriage is good and tho' I'm not married yet, I look forward to it. I see how my parents show their love and I also wanna love my wife more. Guys, lets treat these babes with more respect. And come to think of it, if you don't have LOVE (ie God, cos he's love personified), how do you wanna give LOVE?
SO TRUE. If you dont know God who is love personified, you just cannot love. Either the love needed to bring up a child or the love needed to have a home, with your husband, that is working and peaceful or any other type of love. Infact, what the world is seeing is people trying to love by their will/strenght and it always just keeps failing. |
princefunmi: Madam Chocolate.....Imagine the arrogance in your statement. To put aside the Bible and Koran. By what authority do you speak. Man or God?That is some very fundamental allegation! The Bible has all the answers we need. Husband love your wife. Wife be submissive to your husband. Submission cannot be negotiated. It cannot be exchanged/bartered. A man will choose an ugly submissive woman over an overbearing and strife-ful woman, the world over. |
I have this hunch that the boy was prolly sodomised. No nigerian will disenbowel himself because of umemployment. Its just dont sounds right. However, that is my thoughts on the issue. |

I like the concept and what's more? It is very true though like all laws/rules, it admits of some exceptions too. Very much interested in reading the unabridged version. |
This should be a life creed for all Nigerian women. Full of enduring wisdom. |
Shame on you if you fool me once Shame on me if you fool me twice |
It is the phone that is smart not you. If you're smart, you are smart. |
The idea of judgment is found in the justness of the judgment. God is a just God. The idea of natural justice is His. He will give the accused person(we all know that the accused person is truly the accused) to present his case and whats more, He will hear. Another reason, He judges motives, intentions, thought processes before and after an action, right or wrong. He may judge a seemingly guilty person innocent or a seemingly innocent person guilty. His judgments are just and faultless. In other words, the essence of judgment IS FOR YOU TO BE absolutely convinced that God's judgment upon you is just, whether good or bad. |

That is the cost of civilisation and modern life. Nigeria will still get to that stage too, in fact, we are already in that stage and we are not even fully developed yet. Growing up cause people to grow apart too. Reason it is better that you spend your life doing what you love. |
We need fellowship with one another. The smallest form of fellowship is marriage between a man and a woman. The Bible also encourages that we should not forsake the gathering of brothers(believers). Increasingly, technology will isolate people with the illusion of connecting them together in an instant. And I daresay that the benefits of human presence CAN NOT EVER be replaced with any technological counterfeit: holographic, visual, audio, still or even robotic. All these methods of connection are souless. |
What did you gain by lying? Frontpage?! |
