Check, may be deep freezer (https://www.faronics.com/en-uk/products/deep-freeze) or similar software is installed on your system. What this software does is if installed, every time your computer is going off, every thing saved on the system will be deleted before shut down or restart. Be it new software, files, virus, malware, registry data, configurations to mention but few. The aim is to restore the computer to how it was before you powered on. It has a very useful advantage to those who really need it, but if you have only one computer that's where file are saved on, it will be very catastrophic. Just check Program and features under control Panel for any new software installed and study their use. |
Maybe the crisis subsided because we are in dry season where no much of fresh crops on farm to be destroyed. |
What we're seeing seemed to be an expansion joint which should be part of the design. Though the line of separation should have been clearly cut open to avoid urgly zigzag lines when the building become operational. An expansion joint or movement joint is an assembly designed to hold parts together while safely absorbing vibration and temperature-induced expansion and contraction of building materials to allow movement due to ground settlement or seismic activity. As you see those beams and columns showing cracks, they may be an expansion joint material which could be anything from “asphalt-impregnated-fiberboard” or "polystyrene sheets" used to fill and as a pour stop between concrete of both side of the beams and columns. DISCLAIMER: I am not testifying that the contractor used the above method during construction oooo. But whenever you see this kind of cracks, this is the first thing that should come to mine. |
I discovered programming at the age of 37 in 2012. It all started when a friend taught me how to automate my design works in excel with VBA MACRO, venturing into MACRO opened my eyes to further the studies into Visual basic VB6 and I was able to publish my little works for running on windows that same year. While attending the VB training, I inquire how to reach wider audience with my works, another road was shown into web development. I gradually learned HTML, Javascript and PHP online. between 2012 and 2013. By 2015, I enrolled for Diploma course in Web Development with NIIT Port Harcourt. And today, am a fulfilled web developer (PHP specifically). Provided I am able to get what I needed with PHP and Javascript, needless to must learn every-every and thus, dropped further studies into VB and .NET since 2017. But my next take is Python or .NET. looking forward to middle of 2020. If you never thought of coding, you will be looking at programmers like small gods. until the first day I wrote a functional MACRO, I used to believe that programmers are special kind of people not knowing I can code "HELLO WORLD" in less than 10 minutes class and take off from there. |
This particular Nkpolu road from T-junction at Rumu Agholu axis to the east-west road junction at the express has no water outlet for drainage system. Back in 2015 when this road was rehabilitated, in the face of this anomaly in construction, the community were busy hailing the Governor as Mr Project without asking for where will the runoff emptied into? |
Earthquake Safety Tips In MOST situations, you will reduce your chance of injury if you: DROP Where you are, onto your hands and knees. This position protects you from being knocked down and also allows you to stay low and crawl to shelter if nearby. COVER Your head and neck with one arm and hand If a sturdy table or desk is nearby, crawl underneath it for shelter If no shelter is nearby, crawl next to an interior wall (away from windows) Stay on your knees; bend over to protect vital organs HOLD ON Until shaking stops Under shelter: hold on to it with one hand; be ready to move with your shelter if it shifts No shelter: hold on to your head and neck with both arms and hands. Any brilliant dude can make it. I studied Civil engineering in polytechnic and never have carryover once in a lifetime. If you said mine is polytechnic, I would have made the same thing in university cos I made UPPER Credits @ HND and UPPER Credit @ advanced certificate in Land survey. |
The carcass of bird would have fallen from a prey feeding on it while flying. I have witness a half eaten fresh fish landed before me while walking on the street of Port Harcourt. Guess what was happening!!! A river bird caught the fish, took it to a tree where it was going to feed on it, a hawk attacked to collect the fish, the white river bird then flew off the tree, while the duo were fighting for the food, it fell exactly before me. I was terrified watching the fish and sky above, all of the sudden, I saw a hawk pursuing the white bird. The fish was partially alive while the bird already torn the body at the time of falling off to the ground. |
Nice one! Up coming 2pac of Nigeria |

My dream is to go to school and become rich so that I can buy food to people."I lived far away in the south. If this boy can get accommodated, I am obliged to take care of his school along with my children. @ Segun |
I prefer WordPress to all web platform available because of its flexibility and huge development community behind it, or talk of endless theme and plugins. Limitation to the use of WordPress lies in your imagination. I build Civil Engineering design calculation application with 95% WordPress engine, customized plugins and theme built with outlook template obtained from http://www.jankoatwarpspeed.com/wp-content/uploads/examples/OutlookWebUI/ Till today many users thought the apps were built in ASP.net. http://www.jankoatwarpspeed.com/wp-content/uploads/examples/OutlookWebUI/ |
@ Donkenzy47 You made a very good point, but the flexibility and dynamism that exists in the blogging will make it nearly impossible to control the system as mentioned. At any level, you can only do little to control web activities talk less of association as you suggested. While Security remained inversely proportional to flexibility in the online activities, the integrity of blogging continued to get loose day in day out in the hands of armature and dubious bloggers because more tools to make life easier in that sphere continued to spring up every day. Am a Civil Engineer and a web developer with few websites purposely built for deploying web based engineering design applications for construction industry. A friend brought this kind of idea recently but it wasn't followed up beyond three discussion as all my thought and research has been based on creating tools for engineering design. Our aim then was to open up an advocacy web portal were people are to be mentored on how to professionally do blogging. If you really want us to built a system to sanitize blogging atmosphere in our part of the world, hail me so as to continue from were we stopped before by proceeding to Creating the initial web portal for taking off Creating a core team members based on interest and profile Drafting Constitution Electing BOT Suggesting a website Name Registering the name as an NGO. All above can be done remotely at the initial. I don't know if anything of such exist in Nigeria right now. But if there is any kind of such association, I will be ready to join and contribute my quota instead of creating another new one. |
Libya shocked and we av their people full lagos Island.Think about the root cause of repatriation and not just because our guys were been sent back, Nigeria should descend on sending Libyans back. The returnees were in Libya without proper documentation. |
From Google map, Sambisa is actually big. A trip around the forest is about 318km which google estimated to be 4 hours 42 minutes jorney.

omotayo9177:From my understanding, Mark Z. just followed the paradigm for the significance of number 256 in the computing world. See how much important is number 256 One byte is equal to eight bits and has 28 or 256 possible values, counting from 0 to 255. The number 256 often appears in computer applications (especially on 8-bit systems) for instance; The typical number of different values in each color channel of a digital color image 256 values for red 256 values for green 256 values for blue used for 24-bit color (Search Google for color spectrum) The number of colors available in a GIF or a 256-color (8-bit) bitmap. = 256 The number of characters in extended ASCII[2] and Latin-1. = 256 The number of columns available in a Microsoft Excel worksheet until Excel 2007. = 256 The split-screen level in Pacman, which results from the use of a single byte to store the internal level counter. = 256 A 256-bit integer can represent up to 1.1579209e+77 values. Number of bits in the SHA-256 cryptographic hash. = 256 The branding number of nVidia's GeForce = 256 And for the last moment, see this freshdude99: |
The tricycle is a cool one but this is not new to Nigerian roads. Ohakim brought this to Owerri several years ago and he named it KIMKIM with his face portrait boldly printed on it. Even within that 2014, I saw one of it on road at OBA junction driving towards Onitcha which means is not new in Onitcha also. |

The worst phone I ever use was BLACKBERRY STORM 1. Wanting to belong to the class of smart guys in the society, I used almost half of my one month salary to buy new storm 1 when it came out new, sent the earlier curve to become spare. little everybody know that I was nose diving into phone usage nightmare. I bought the phone from Lagos, after calling the seller, he apologized warmly that it is the same issue he was having with all customers who bought the same phone and that I can return it to collect another model of phone of my choice. The problem then was that I based in Port Harcourt, then bought this item from Lagos, the seller said he will only change the phone if I come by my self. The financial cost, time loss (Man hour loss) and the risk on the road for going to change phone in Lagos!!!. I just endured to face the problems until I sold the phone at a give away price. The Problems I faced once you allow the battery to run down to zero before putting it off, the screen touch will hang. This started two days after I bought the phone. After three months into using the phone, here are some other headaches: The screen will double and triple click on you The screen will fail to register where your finger is touching. Touching the bottom right of the screen will highlight the buttons in the top left One or more of the electric click sensors in your screen (one at each corner) will stick down. Failing to register any clicks in that quadrant no matter how hard you press. If all 4 corners go at once, the screen is unusable, and you need to pull your battery. Your click sensors will strangely start clicking themselves when your finger is nowhere near it. I had a condition happen multiple times where the phone, laying on my desk would click and unclick rapidly, like it was vibrating. This continued for a half-hour before it ran out my battery. |
The first and the only time I had this experience was a a day my land lady's dog called thatcher engaged me in a physical physical combat. I lived and work outside the city of port Harcourt but always come around every two weeks for seen my family. On this ugly day, I setup for travelling back to site at about 5:30am. Immediately I was approaching the gate, thatcher rushed me, all shout telling her to "go back to your cage" fell on a def ear. By the time it jumped up to my chest, I dodged the similar way we used to do during catch me game in primary school. before she land on the ground I followed her with a blow from my heavy travelling back. for her missing a target and a blow from my back on her landing on the ground, she missed balance and I followed it with another wave of blow from my bag. Now we are set for the real fight. She ran far back as if she was running away and then turned back this time around I was fully prepared and started waving my bag left and right direction so fast that the single blow that touched the head sent message of not not go to her. We were in this battle until the owner called her to order. If I were not to be carrying bag that day, the Dog was ready to finish me. |
I will add a dozen clues to the available list 1. Focus on long-tail keywords – The days of focusing on a single keyword for each page are long gone. Make sure your posts include all the relevant terms and phrases related to your topic. 2. Start a forum on your website – An active forum can quickly begin ranking for long-tail keywords. They’re also great for decreasing your site’s bounce rate, increasing time-on-site, as well as building a community. 3. Start a Facebook group that drives traffic to your site – Start a niche-specific group where members can ask questions and get support (and don’t forget to point them back to your site’s content where relevant). 4. Submit your blog posts to StumbleUpon – It works! 5. Promote your blog posts to your email list – This doesn’t have to be the main focus of all your emails, but including a link or two back to your blog posts can considerably increase traffic, leads, and sales. 6. Work on your headlines – Your headlines are what will get people in the door, particularly when you share your blog posts via social media; make sure they pique interest and clearly articulate the benefit to your readers. 7. Join a blogging community like ProBlogger or CopyBlogger – This is a great way to network with other bloggers, and to cross-promote each other’s content. 8. Include links to other relevant posts on your blog – When you write a post, always be sure to mention other posts your readers may find helpful; this is great for SEO as well as for increasing time-on-site, conversion rates, and referral traffic. 9. Guest post on relevant blogs – There’s not much point guest blogging on a site in an unrelated niche; make sure you only contribute to highly-relevant, high-quality sites in your niche. 10. Become a columnist or contributor on a well-known website – If you can become a guest contributor on an authority site like Huffington Post or Forbes, you not only drive targeted traffic to your site, but establish yourself as an expert in your field. 11. Optimize your existing posts – Comb through your old posts to make sure they have unique and relevant title tags, URLS and meta descriptions. 12. Arrange an advertising swap – Trade banner ads with a complimentary site in your niche. |

My blog : Igalapedia.com started from a corner of room when my children became too inquisitive to learn their mother tongue (igala). The problem then was that I used to return home for seeing them only twice of maximum 18 hours each every month. In 2010, A small Igala dictionary desktop application was compiled for them making use of HTML executable for learning Igala language. By 2011, there was a high demand for sharing that app. In summary a website was launched @ www.igalapedia.com in 2012, by 2013, first Igala desktop dictionary application was released officially. Currently, this small work of yesterday has transformed into an NGO service preaching the gospel language extinction and how it can affect minority African tribes. |
The cat in this photo is descending from the top to the floor beneath. Looking at the stairs case, you will discover that each of the thread slightly overlap each of the risers at the top, that indicated that photo was taken from the lower floor while the cat was walking down the stairs. From another perspective, what appeared as a series of rectangles with 1" strip on top is the elevation of the risers. |

I knew tooth paste as a good agent for cleaning burnt pressing iron, even a piano and any silver surface that is turning brown color. If pressing Iron burn your cloth, needless to start scratching the heating plate, just spill tooth paste on it while very hot, it will form bubble and don't let it to dry off before doing the cleaning. Just use it like that to rub on a clean rag or hand kachive. You will return the hot plate of your iron to normal
