Osarieme415:Uruguay president is world poorest president, he is not corrupt, no private jet, live ina one bedroom flat, donate 90% of his salary to charity |
Nctrice:Go kill yourself |
nickxtra:It started at Ahwal Ibrahim primary field yesterday close to the private residence of suleja Emirate council emir. I jsut confirmed the development from my mother, normality as returned to the area now. |
adconline:You may be right because most illiterate Northerner will be voting for Buhari because og religion and ethnicity just as so many southern illiterate Christian will be voting Jonathan because of religion. My katsina friend serving in Kano was in kano when some PDP campaign bus were burnt and he was so disturbed that some people can't just conduct themself properly. Jonathan has the constitutional right to run for the office of president and we the electorate have the right to vote him out of office. We know that BUHARI will do a better job. I'm voting BUHARI because he represent progress and development. say no to stealing is not corruption. SAI BUHARI |
rationalmind:This is a matter of Christianity vs Islam now? My uncles is a Muslim and a die hard PDP and jonathan supporter, we've had countless of debate about how stupid anybody that support Jonathan. |
tonytony208:If you must be an 'English Hitler' then try to get a better job |
I traveled home for two weeks, when i returned back to port Harcourt, the first floor block work had already been completed by my colleague (Arc. Emanuel). i will post the picture here later. But here is the slab form work, steel detailed work and concrete work. i personally supervised these aspect of the job. for the form work, here is how arrived at the bill of quantity: Area of deck to covered = 160m2 assuming a soft apu plank of 25 x 300 x 3300mm ( 1''x12''x11'). Note that the length of the plank is 3600mm (12') Area per plank = 0.3 x 3.3 = 0.99m2 No of planks required for the suffice = 160/0.99 =162planks allowing for 25% allowance due to off cute and wastage = 0.25 x 162 = 203 planks No of planks for the floor beams beam along x-axis = 14 x 4 =56m2 beam along y- axis = 13x4 52m2 since the beam will required boarding from both side = (( 56 + 52) x 2 x 0.3))/(0.3 x 3.3) = 65 planks allowance for wastage and off cute = 1.25 x 65 = 82 planks No of planks required for the column; Note since the block was built before the column was cast, i will only need to provide two boarding per column no of columns = 19 height of column from ground level ( minus starter bar/column) = 3.15m Area of column = 2x3.15x0.3x19 = 35.91m2 No of planks required = 35.91/0.99 = 36 planks Allowance of 25% = 1.25 x 36 = 45 planks. No of planks required for slab side ( thickness of 150mm) Height of outside board = 300+150 = 450mm (using 600mm for convenience and easy brazing) outer perimeter = (13x2) + (14x2) = 54 x 2 = 108m2 Area of boarding = 108/0.99 = 110 planks No of planks for stair case = 20 planls Summary of plank Deck = 203 planks beam = 82 planks column =45 planks External boarding/stair case =130planks = 460planks

tonytony208:The problem with you Nigerian is the you always want to proof to people that you know how to speak English, a language of your colonial master that exploited you both mentally and economically for several centuries without any meaningful development. India speaks poorer English despite been colonized by stupid and gaining independent 13 years earlier than Nigeria. i want to see how many solutions you have been able to provide in your chosen field of study how many positive contributions have you been able to make in your life. A PHD holder should be able to have his thesis online. |
Nctrice:You may be insane to assume to know better than everyone you meet online... the man you quoted may be light years ahead of you in terms of intellect. |
ignis:I made first class in civil engineering...Bleep paper qualifications. NIGERIA SAI BUHARI |
DaBullIT:I felt so sad hearing things like this... the truth is Hausas/Fulanis need to put there house in other. The level of poverty, illiteracy and hatred towards other Nigeria ethnic group is high in some areas populated by some poor/illiterate Northerners. Jos violence is a product of pooverty, illiteracy, intolerance and religous sentiments. Northern leaders in PDP had been benefiting from these gullible poor masses politically. They keep fronting weak Jonathan so that they will continue there looting and steeling so we can all remain unemployed, uninformed and poor. That is the major reason why I want buhari so much. Buhari is the best elder state men from the North. The man that believe in the plight of the poor masses, the man that will help us to lift Nigeria people out of poverty illiteracy and underdevelopement. The more education people get, the more work and engaged they get, the more they assimilate more into ssociety, the more they travel and the less the role of ILLITERATE RELIGIOUS SCHOLARS THAT BREED EXTREMISM on the masses. Buhari presidency is win win for all Nigerians. I will be the most happiest man on earth when BUHARI THE PEOPLE'S GENERAL IS DECLARED NIGERIA PRESIDENT |
crazysaint:Stupidity of the highest order... Religion is just a tool used by cunning men to exploit gullible/ignorant and desperate people Oyedipo should be in sera loene, Guinea or Liberia saving innocent people dying of EBOLA VIRUS. This men are only relevant beause of million of men that pay money to them inform of tithe, donation and first fruit. ...emerging what will happen to these insensitive criminals when Nigerians finally get enough education to know that there is no such thing as heaven or hell |
CityNG:I love the simplicity and thee beauty of the design |
CityNG:excellence analysis... But flat roof in tropical Southern part of Nigeria with high rainfal is undesirable as result of the following. 1. Low angled to flat roof tends to slow down water flow and leads to water stagnation which causes leakage. 2. we tends to build our roof truss wood ( as as the cheaper substitute because of our poor industrial production of steel). building flat roof with wood becomes problematic as the span get bigger which leads to sagging of rafter or tie beam as the roof age. 3. wind speed render the roof vulnerability at the elevated level unless parapet is built. |
CityNG:what is type of roofing sheet are you planning to use. are you making the roof truss How high is the roof truss are you using step tiles, long span aluminum roofing sheet or zink |
CityNG:I'm of the opinion that bamboo need to be used more extensively here in Nigeria. it can solve most of our buiolding problem of his versatility and its fast growth rate. Nigeria with a housing demand of about 20 million in a country with per capital of $3000. bamboo and other cheap building materials will do it |
mufutau55:though as a young structural/civil engineer, I'm looking for ways to break some of those tradition. I believe we should be able to build very low cost very attractive building. I am looking at bamboo structures. I am looking at serious rib slab using polystyrene as a permanent former . I am looking at high yield wood as truss member I am looking at very cheap pre fab houses A combination of architecture, civil engineering and quantity surveying will do the magic. I'm learning so many 3 D archi softwares and some project management/costing to complement my primary structural/civil engineering knowledge |
mufutau55:I'm of the view that people need to build more with bamboo wood, polystyrene materials and steel. civil/building engineering need to be involved more than the conventional method of cement and gravel. people are building with bamboo in tropical third world countries in central and south America countries like Colombia, peru and brazil. some of these design are out of the box thinking and technical know how. You will love some of these design because they combined aesthetics, structural integrity and most importantly COST |
CityNG:The problem is people always want to build using conventional and conservative method... modern method will surely lead to lower cost |
asadike:I dare you to upload ur university certificate/statement of result here and will upload mine... I am so sure you will end up with a brain tumor if you ever achieved my level of academic excellence |
asadike:You a big monkey dude. upload your certificate here so we can all see how intelligent you are. |
80% of the so called educated people in Nigeria are actually illiterates! I don't blame Fani Kayode, whose job is, to distract the less informed Nigerians from asking his Principal to account for his 6years of economic wastage and insecurity![/quote I believe it is much higher than 80% This county is so messed up that you wonder if her inhabitants are animal. Certificate is only used as a medium to get white collar job here. with all the noise about literacy and certificate, I ask a simple question. ..what has the Phd. holder Jonathan has done? Jonathan with Phd still behave and act like a retard with little to know intellect. His wife with Phd still talk like an iterate that can hardly construct a simple sentence. |
asadike:what do you mean by northern Nigeria? Nigeria is a very poor country because of empty head slowpoke like you that believe in prejudice and all sort of sentiment. I don't really see much difference between Northern and southern people as regards to acedemic excellence. Though some group like the Yorubas value education more and are more successful, but generally Nigeria is a messed up country |
lexxylalas2:WHY IS JONATHAN BETTER THAN BUHARI ![]() IN YOUR TWISTED LOGIC, LET ME GUESS. .. HE IS A CHRISTIAN AND HENCE BETTER THAN A NORTHERN BUHARI? HE WILL CERTAINLY ISLAMIZED NIGERIA BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY IS A MUSLIM? JONATHAN HHAS BEEN ABLE TO LOOT ANDD ALLOW SOME IDIOTS FRROM THE SOUTH TO LOOT. PLEASE TELL ME THINGS THAT JONATHAN HAS DONE IN HIS 4 YEARS? |
Abagworo:Buhari has no reason to fail his supporters. We are talking about a 72 years old man that has been proven in all his life endeavours to be disciplined and incorruptible, it is a plus for us that he is popular among the northern voters who are known to have religious/ethnic sentiment |
quote author=bankylan post=30027238]Who are the masses? It beats my imagination that any right thinking Nigerian will be fighting for these politicians. Both GEJ and Buhari are not the solution to our problems: Is Tinubu and Amechi now saints? Are all the defectors from PDP now saints. But if one needs to chose between the two....I will rather fail forward and never to fail backward. Buhari represents only one thing, and that is backwardness. If he is indeed an honest man as being claimed, he should not have allowed corrupt politicians around him. His honesty should have prevailed over his ambition. Also what vision will a 72 year old have in this dynamic world? The best he can have is a dream!...That is the dillema of this election. But quote me, GEJ is coming back!!!!!!
YOU GUYS ARE SERIOUSLY SHORT OF IDEAS. BUHARI IS OBVIOUSLY BETTER THAN THE CLUELESS JONATHAN, WE ARE ALL FIGHTING FOR HIM BECAUSE HE HAS SHOWN IN THE PAST THAT HE CAN BE TRUSTED TO DELIVER BY HIS ANT CORRUPTION TENDENCY, HIS LOVE FOR POOR MASSES AND HIS DETRABILIZED TENDENCY. HE IS A MAN WE CAN TRUST TO REPOSITION THE GREATEST BLACK NATION ON EARTH. BUHARI WILL FIGHT CORRUPTION ENOUGH ROADS LINKING ALL THE IMPORTANT CITIES IN NIGERIA BUHARI WILL REPOSITION OUR ECONOMY BY SPENDING MORE MONEY ON POWER, POVERTY ALLEVIATION, JOB CREATION, DIVERSIFICATION OF THE ECONOMY. SAI BUHARI.... THE PEOPLE'S GENERAL |
e is busy campaigning for buhari. Those of us who have tried to study the political landscape know better. OBJ has seen the weakest in buhari and he knows the man buhari will break under the pressure of the presidential seat. His widecard is Osinbanjo. And if buhari wins Osinbanjo might likely take over when buhari is taken abroad for treatment. I see this coming, that's how they masked the ill health of the late president before GEJ took over. We cannot continue to be manipulated like this. Just because the masses have no mind of their own doesn't call for such manipulation of colossal proportion. But what can the righteous do. There are lots of people out their who clamor for "change" and would rather vote for an old weak man. Would you rather take me on this debate. Then comment. Corruption, insecurity, Boko Haram. i already know the places you would likely go. Lets talk. Don't be deceived Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.” ― Martin Luther King Jr you people are talking has if you are God... Obasonjo is older than buhari and he is still strong and able. Buhari is a strong general with a very good life style. No alcohol, no fornication, no smoking and you have a healthy life. s an exceptional Nigeria that has been living a very discipline life.Take your advise....SAI BUHARI |
DPC: the mix ratio = 1:2:4 (one bag of cement/ four head pan of sharp sand/ eight head pan of 3/4 gravel) Area of DPC = 154m2 thickness of concrete =150mm (6'') Volume of concrete = ( 154 x 0.15 x 1.25) = 30m3 (approx.) number of bags of cement = (30 x 1/7 x 1506/50) = 130 bags of cement 140bags of cement for the DPC. in the actual casting, 136bags of cement was used

cheruv:how do you became an citizen of a place? |
succed:i was born in suleja a large settlement close to Abuja which is a local government in Niger state. |
liberty300:Stupidity of the highest order. there is no such thing as north-south divide. The division was initially created by stupid colonial master to exploit Nigerians and latter reinforced by criminal politicians to continue the oppression of people. I am a Yoruba and from Niger sate. Jonathan caan go to hell, he has failed woefully and decerve to be kicked out |
