Webmasters › Re: How Is The Interswitch Webpay Doing ? by abhosts(m): 12:47pm On Sep 08, 2010
Most Nigerian Banks are switching to MasterCard and Visa for their ATM Cards. Paying N150,000 for Interswitch simply makes no sense.

I really do not understand the wisdom in this new arrangement. SS3N is now beginning to look like HITV.
Christianity Etc › Re: Listening Into Others Prayers In Church. Good Or Bad by abhosts(m): 2:00pm On Aug 24, 2010
I personally dont care even if the whole world is listening to my Prayer. I have learned over the years that loud prayer is far more effective that quite prayer. I attended a  church of so-called Sophisticated Folks for many years but things barely improved in my life. It even got to a stage that I thought that prayer does not solve problems. But when I started attending a church were people pray with so much aggression, like deranged people, I was startled by the results my prayers began to yield.

I think you should have quietly kept your findings to yourself and moved on with your life. If your findings are true, this thread actually does more harm than good since it will awaken the contentiousness of  Nigerian scammers to a potential "feast". But you appear to be taking it like a joke. I hope this does not land you in trouble as you have now made yourself a potential scapegoat for all past cases of fraudulent activity on their network.

Moderator, for the sake of innocent businesses that use this payment gateway, Please delete this thread.

Politics › Re: Lagos Gives Okada Riders Fresh Ultimatum by abhosts(m): 5:32pm On Aug 12, 2010
This is a half-hearted measure by the State Government. An outright ban is the solution.
TV/Movies › Re: Nollywood Slams N250,000 Clearance Fee On Foreign Actors by abhosts(m): 2:56pm On Jul 26, 2010
I view this as a Very Childish Response. Even if Nigeria Stands still for a hundred years (God Forbid), Ghana will still not catch up with Nigeria. Nollywood should have just ignored their Paranoia.
Business › Re: How White Zimbabwean Farmers Are Revolutionising Poultry Production In Kwara by abhosts(m): 11:15am On Jul 26, 2010
Those White farmers where virtually the ones that powered the agricultural sector in Zimbabwe but Mogabe drove them out in the name of Land Redistribution. Now who is paying the price?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: The End Of Hitv - Multichoice/dstv Wins Back Epl Coverage Rights In Nigeria by abhosts(m): 12:05pm On Jul 23, 2010
So does it mean we will have to pay HITV 6k just for Champions League? They still have the rights to that.
Christianity Etc › Re: Is Rccg And Pastor Adeboye Obliged To Return Akingbola Looted Offering? by abhosts(m): 5:04pm On Jul 21, 2010
Bernie Madoff gave millions of Dollars in donations to numerous Charities and Foundations, while he ran his Ponzi Scheme. Were they asked to return anything?

For Your Information, Erastus Akingbola made donations towards many causes that were non-religious in Nature. Example: He donated a building to Unilag's PG School. So should Unilag return his building as well?

When you nab a fraudster, you can only confiscate stuff that belongs to him and not what he has spent or given out.

I live in Lekki and would choose Lekki over anywhere in Nigeria (Probably except Ikoyi) any day, anytime. Those pictures are not new. That house is situated in a poorly developed neighborhood in Ajah.
Business › Re: GTB Bank And Their Checking Balance Rule by abhosts(m): 1:00pm On Jul 16, 2010
GTB is arguably the most patronized Bank in Nigeria at the moment. They have probably introduced this measure to trim down the crowds in their banking halls. Why should account balance enquiries lead to endless queues when you can easily check your balance with any ATM Machine or Via the Internet?

Banks expend a great deal of resources to Procure and Maintain these Facilities so that their human resources can be well harnessed for more daunting tasks.

Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or mother, or father, or children, or lands, for my sake, and for the gospel's sake, but he shall receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.  Mark 10:28-30.

It is not his Surname. His full name is Francesc Fabregas i Soler.

This WorldCup Period made me appreciate DSTV even the more. The whole Event was so Colourful. I hope Nigeria would have a chance to host the Mundial as well in our lifetime.

You should be talking to your web host and not MTN. Some tweaking can be done from the Server to Forestall this problem.

The Super Eagles always perform well when it does not count (Friendlies and Third Place Matches). So they should win.

Christianity Etc › Re: Pay Debt Or Pay Tithe by abhosts(m): 12:42pm On Jun 15, 2010
If you pay your tithe based on other people's opinion, you are greatly mistaken. Tithing is a personal thing done in faith.

Christianity Etc › Re: New Rccg's Tithe Collection Format by abhosts(m): 11:42am On Jun 10, 2010
Why do some so-called Christians relish the act of raising sensitive church issues on a forum mostly infested by Unbelievers and Agnostics? What exactly do you intend to achieve by this? Do faithfuls of other religions come here to publish what they perceive as flaws in their own places of worship?

This is a good decision that only solves the problem temporarily. The GSM operators would have started brainstorming with their in-house Yahoo-Yahoo consultants on other ways milk their gullible customers.
Business › Re: Cost Of Living In Lagos, Nigeria by abhosts(m): 1:40pm On May 08, 2010
@Poster,

Since your employers are handling your Feeding, Transportation and Accommodation, you would do just fine and have a lot to save with that salary in Nigeria. You should settle-down easily as there are lots of Indians living in Nigeria.

I wish you the best.
