Technology Market › Re: Brand New Lg Split Unit Ac (1.5) For Sale. by abhosts(m): 4:50pm On Oct 27, 2009
azubike1:
It is from my office. I don't really need it as I have AC in my rooms. I would only need it if I am moving to a bigger house and that hopefully would be late next year so it does not make sense to me to keep it till then. I stay in Gbagada. Sore value? I said I got it like two weeks ago. If that does not answer your question then I do not understand your question. Please call 08032001281 if you have further enquiries
"Store Value" means Market Price.

Mohammad Abacha's Political Fantasy will never see the light of day. Everyone seems to have forgotten that his father was behind the demise of The President's late brother.

Guess who's running the show in the party now? Remember the selection of Soludo?

I have been using Windows 7 for about 6 months non-stop and I would not trade it for any other OS on the planet.

@poster
You a probably running your Windows 7 installation on a low config system.
Politics › Re: Do We Need Another International Airport In Lagos ? by abhosts(m): 9:00pm On Oct 11, 2009
MM International Airport is old and somewhat outdated. Many international flights circle the air for minutes before landing because of the airport's limited capacity.  A modern international airport on the peninsular is a welcomed development.

Business › Re: We Need Genuine And Helpful Nigerians Who Reside In China by abhosts(m): 8:47pm On Oct 04, 2009
Most of the sellers you meet on Alibaba are not manufacturers. Many are just third parties that bring business to the manufacturer and collect their cut. Your best bet will be to save up and go to china yourself, then establish a relationship with a manufacturer that you can transact business with even when you are in Nigeria.
Business › Re: I Want To Open A Chinese Language Training School In Abuja Or Lagos by abhosts(m): 8:39pm On Oct 04, 2009
Pursue your dream and don't listen to negative minded people. With the pace at which china is growing, they will soon dethrone the US as the worlds economic power house. Your idea is a good one and your language school could even receive some form of support from the chinese government when it starts to gain reputation.

The last time I checked, state parastatals were not eligible for .gov.ng. Nira would ask them to go and get a sub-domain under the state's gov.ng domain.

Just when I was about to lose my fear of flying Nigerian planes, the fear has come back again. Im sticking to foreign planes for now and buses within Nigeria. I can see the next plane crash in Nigeria. The eagle is going down!
There will be no plane crash in Naija in Jesus Name. Virgin Nigeria, Aero Contractors and Arik all have fleets that meet international safety standards. They all use planes that are less than 10 years old.
Webmasters › Re: How Safe In A Nigerian Host by abhosts(m): 6:38pm On Sep 18, 2009
Afam is addressing the issue like a true professional. It is very immature to lay the blame of a hacked website squarely on the webhost. 95 Percent of the time, it is vulnerable scripts being used by the client that is to blame.

Webmasters › Re: Do You Pay Fine For Someone Reporting You For Spamming by abhosts(m): 6:34pm On Sep 15, 2009
The Web host is very much in order. Unfortunately, most Nigerians do not read a company's Terms of Service before signing up. Stuff like that would have been clearly stated there and you agreed to it.

Spamvertising is the act of sending unsolicited emails to promote your website. The only evidence your webhost will need is a copy of the unsolicited email from the complainant containing a link to your domain name.
Properties › Why Do Most Agents Use The Term "tastefully Finished" For Even Crappy Property? by abhosts(op): 10:41am On Sep 15, 2009
When putting up adverts, why do most Estate Agents use this term? They use this even when the supposed structure is old and dilapidated. At the end of the day, the precious time of those who express interest is wasted.

It appears you're getting a taste of what NL can dish out sometimes. The mistake you made was trying to respond to every nut-case who's mouthing off about your business and price. The point is, this service is not for everybody and price should not be for everybody. I for one appreciate the service line you're selling, and your prices are very fare, having paid a lot more than that myself in the past. Know this, all the people abusing you here came from pit-toilet background, they'll only appreciate you and your business if you offer it to them in a ghetto enviroment for a ghetto price. Just keep your head up and focus on what you're doing. Concentrate on upper echelon clientel and don't try to rumble in the mud with some of these people.
That was very harsh, but spot on.
