How am I following what white dudes do? Am I the sheep when all of you practice your colonizers religion? And don't even bother to read into your history or past you probably don't even know the fundamentals of your people's religion and you probably believe that they practiced human sacrifice

you're talking rubbish
most of Africa never celebrated homosexuality
it was always a taboo

you're talking crap
You clearly haven't learn anything about traditional religions or culture it has never been a taboo in most of Africa to be gay they just lived their life as normal if you talked to a Babalawo they would tell you that there were gay people in the past in Africa who lived their lives as normal it is the coming of Abrahamic religions that changed our worldviews even in ancient Egypt there are mummies who were buried with many artefacts that were gay and we can tell through DNA tests, facial structures and the mannerism in which they were buried you can cry all you want but that's the fact of the matter

That is what I said yesterday
I said it could be anywhere between 5 and 30% and in any case if it were 30% and none of them reproduced that would still leave 70% of the population to reproduce would it not? And if you bothered to read into these things a lot of people still marry women or men as normal even if they're gay so if the numbers were 30% it would likely only be a small minority that actually openly practice these things

So ya saying in your african heritage gayism was the norm grin grin my culture doesnt approve of that...say all you want but ths stuff is being encouraged by white man..even Americans were trying to force Kenya to accept it but our president said no..bro i dont judge but want i dont like is someone trying to force stuff on others..

I once handle travel stuff on somali refugees an can tell you this..if ya want to migrate to western world just say ya gay an all will be well..
If you bothered to read into traditional culture and religion you'd know there's no stigma againsy homosexuality in Africa. For example a king in Uganda had a whole male harem he literally hired men to have sex with him there were also the queens in Rwanda who used to do intercourse with women of their kingdoms or even the several transgender deities in West and Central African religions

Stigma and hate against homosexuality is of western origin if you look at those who practice traditional religions they don't harbour half as much hate as those who practice western religion towards gay people whether you like it or not the hate towards homosexuality is of western origin and isn't a practice of African origin

rubbish

if its possible then they won't be shouting rights all about the place

the world population would be stagnant or reducing because 30% of people are not reproducing

30% is totally impossible, even in the west not to talk of Africa
even in gay accepting south Africa I doubt if they are up to 1%
Are you even reading to understand? Majority of them ignore the natural homosexual tendencies and some are even attracted to both genders so reproducing isn't a problem I don't see why some of you guys cannot read to comprehend
CultureRe: Long Lost History Of The Moors [africans] by Abohboy: 11:28am On Oct 06, 2021
olamidedivotee:
The Moor” means Omoros, which refers to “ children of light” and can also be referred to as the “ sons of civilization.” These set if people colonized Europe for a period of 400 years and were the architects of Europe’s civilization.

Surprisingly, they were Africans and they were the first to arrive in Europe. This story has been hidden from many, while the few that knows have refused to share it because, it pertains to the superiority of a black man.

They Moors first arrived in Europe in Andalusia, Spain in 711 AD. Tariq ibn-Ziyad was a leader of an army that crossed the Strait of Gibraltar from northern Africa and invaded the Iberian Peninsula. They conquered Spain and also compelled some parts of Italy into their subjects.

The black Moors ruled Spain for a period of 300years, before expanding to other parts of Europe in which they controlled much of the continent for 700 years.

A British historian by name Basil Davidson, narrates that there were no place in the 8th century that were more admired to live in than the African civilization built in Spain.
However, Shakespeare, the renowned writer of Novels, wrote about the Moors in his plays; Othello, Corielanus, As you like it, and others.

The renowned books about these set of people are found in Germany, but it is believed that the English must have altered the version or maybe get the books destroyed. The Moors ruled Europe from Spain and also ruled England as well in which they offered the Jews protection until the Civil war between their kinds.

Their impact and size of their history in Europe is so big and overwhelming and it is understandable while Europe choose to ignore their history completely and they are not even taught in modern schools.
Europe’s civilization, its stock market, culture, is definitely a leftover of these Moors that colonized them during that period.

It is known that Ghana existed in the Moorish maps at least before 1300. The Moors had universal education which was available to all, and according to records, 99% of Europeans were illiterate, and even kings could neither read nor write.

There were only two universities in Europe as at that time, whereas, the Moors had many, numbered up to seventeen great universities located in Almeria, Granada, Cordova,Seville, Juen,Malaga, and Toledo.
Paper and ink was introduced by the Moors to Europe. Arabic numerals were introduced also which replaced the Roman system.

The Moors lived in big palaces while citizens in France, England and others lived in big barns, which had a hole in the roof serving as a smoke exit. This showed the colonization period by the African Moors and were later copied by the Europeans.

Alhambra is a place in Granada which is a Moorish palce till date. Although the palace is today a UNESCO World Heritage site and is considered as one of Spain’s architectural masterpieces.

The Moors brought the Compass to Europe, they also broughtvl the street lights, as their palaces were well decorated with street lights, lambs, which illuminated the vicinity.
The Moors ruled the world, the knowledge today all around the globe is from the Moors.

However, we have only compiled a few in this article, but questions have been popping up. Many asked, if Africans were the first to colonized Europe, then why are Africans now minors?

However, it was revealed that after the rulership of the Moors and the civil war in which they had between their kinds, that dynasty died, and Africans were usurped by the Europeans which led to the recolonization of the blacks.

Had it been the war was compromised, the blacks would still be in power and maybe, most African countries would have been in the list of first world countries today, a researcher opined.
The moors never conquered England or France they only conquered Spain but they were able to send thousands of traders and diplomats to these nations and these people exerted influences there and I will make it clear that not all of the moors were black a lot of them were also Arabs who ended up in North Africa

Even 5% is impossible
As a say many hide due to stigma and discrimination you don't know that same way there was a Ghanaian teen I knew he moved to the UK acted like normal always talked about girls what not then one day he just turned around and said he was gay but was too scared to share but the funny thing is he's still dating a girl and about to get married to her even after admitting to being gay so the likelihood of there being millions of men and women who are gay but pretend to be normal is high

first of all, power isn't a thing of population, it's a thing of consumption, a big nation like nigeria with a smaller industrial base than SA may need smaller power.....what consumes most of SA's electricity is the mining sector.

2...... Nigeria deliberately shut many generating plants because running them without proper transmission infrastructures is wastage.

3..... Power works like a geometric progression, meaning u can actually send out more power than installed, provided the capacity is large. There's difference between installed power and installed capacity.

4...... Nigeria's power connectivity is not 100%, it's roughly 60% and majority of the connected ones don't have it 24/7, I don't know who told u nigeria has 100% connectivity rate.

5..... Nigeria has many ongoing power generation projects that is expected to raise the power to transmission, egbin for example is expected to generate 4gw of power after the upgrade.

6....... It's a question, tell me why egypt has 100% connectivity rate when it generates less power than SA ? Note: egypt is populous than SA.

7....... Oh yes, Nigeria has enough power to power the whole country, but transmission & distribution infrastructures are the problem.

8.....this is the last time I'll respond to ur juvenile rants, u're factless!
1. Yes power can be affected by population even though Nigeria may not consume owe would n average per person as much electricity as South Africa we would still need a lot more electricity then they have installed if 4000MW isn't adequate enough for most people to get even up to 6 hours why do you think that 12 000 will mean constant electricity supply?

I never said Nigeria has 100% connectivity rate I very clearly said it doesn't just shows your lack of comprehension and youe point on Egypt doesn't even make sense what does being connected to the grid have to do with power demand and consumption?

I don't care what power projects are under construction Nigeria needs more then a 100 000MW added to it's national grid if it wants to provide constant power to every single citizen it isn't debatable 12 000MW is probably enough to only power Lagos, Abuja and some parts of Kano constantly not the whole nation

Transmission infrastructure will only do so much what we need right now is more then twenty fold what is actually being done on ground

If we don't have enough electricity to power the whole country, why are we selling our excess unused electricity to Benin republic and Niger republic? sad
Because in the 60s we signed a contract with them stating that if they didn't dam the Niger river upstream we would export power made from it to them go learn history

Added to that the grid doesn't have the capacity to handle the power so exporting it gives us many and stops the power from being wasted

A whole ethnic group cannot be united under a singular thought now can they? People have individual opinions and they shouldn't be changed by the ethnicity they're from only position in which we should be united is in restructuring into a regional federalism and the drafting of a new constitution otherwise every person is free to their own opinions

Go and sit down........ U know nothing!
Why did you stop reading there? For our population that's how much electricity we will need South Africa of 46 million has 64 000MW but still has powercuts so Nigeria that is three or four times larger won't need three or four times more electricity? I've done my reseearch clearly you haven't and Nigeria doesn't even have 100% electricity connectivity either so till then we won't even know the actual electricity demand stop pandering to Nigeria let's speak the truth and be honest in our views and opinions 12 000MW isn't enough to power Nigeria and it never will be.

As someone that worked for TCN public relations for two weeks ( last two weeks and last week ) on the upgrading program, I have more fact on it than u or some news outlet.

Nigerian govt, together with siemens and world bank are about to commence the upgrading of transmission infrastructure, nigeria generates enough power to power the whole country but has problem with the transmission lines cos the lines can't take all the power generated, lest it breaks down.

So, they're upgrading transmission stations and distribution channels. like otta transmission station ( our last assignment ) will be upgraded from 132kv to 400kv while ijora will be doubled to 264kv...... Las las, we went to about 15 substations across this region, they're doing soil testing as at this moment, u know they have to test the soil to ascertain if it can carry the incoming equipments.

they'll be upgrading it in phases and they'll do it for 2years...... And it's not as if everywhere will be blackout when they're working on it, only some sections of the region will be experiencing blackout at a stipulated time.

Anyway, that's my WhatsApp chat with TCN pro SW region, my payment was there sha cheesy and she asked me to send the job to Abuja ( TCN headquarters ) yesterday....
Nigeria doesn't have enough electricity for the whole nation we would need at least 200 000MW for the whole nation we only have enough for like 10 million people at average global energy usage rate and about 40 million for average Nigerian energy usage and in any case the Siemens deal has almost fallen through due to requirements which siemens cannot fulfill for the project being 50% local involvement Nigeria isn't industrialized to achieve that so until that clause in the contract is changed no Siemens deal

Our wildlife numbers are 30+ times more than that of Kenya

Kenyans have decimated its wildlife....won't be long until you guys are just like Nigeria, with no wildlife at all
Who says Nigeria has no wildife? Albeit they're endangered but they still survive in our environment we have in the southern forest regions leopards, gorillas, monkeys, baboons, elephants, hippos, lizards, manatee plenty of animals the problem is the people tend to kill them for food but as we develop this problem will be stemmed it is mainly in the north where most wildlife is extinct but I believe that soon we will have a turn around

Can you now see the problems with some of you guys, you come here to write fiction, when you are challenged to supply supporting evidence, you will claim it has been presented before, what is the problem of simply reposting the evidence.

You are happy to repeat your lies but not happy to repost your supposed evidence when challenged to do so.

You can't make a claim that is strange to me and when I request for evidence, you can't be bothered and ask me to go and do my own research if I am not ready to believe whatever it is you have claimed.

It's like me claiming to Ghanaians that Nigeria used to produce planes and when challenged to provide evidence, I will ask the them to go and research it for themselves.

If you go to court to make a claim, you are required to supply support evidences to back up your claims.

This is a court of public opinion. The only reason must of you run away from backing up your claims with evidence when requested to do so is because you know you are telling lies.
I'm only asking you to do basic research if you're unable to do that then I have no time you'd notice with my threads I do my research first then make the pose like with the Oghane I don't jsut come onto the app completely ignorant and just saying random stuff if you actually wanted to learn google is a free application and you still haven't stated what you want to see as proof give me that and I will give you all the evdence you want

How very convenient sir. Please kindly indulge me, if I am wrong, even if you are not a Nigerian, are you a citizen of UK or US sir? UK and US are not better than Nigeria. There are many places in Lagos and Nigeria with far better living conditions than some places in those countries same way there are some places in those countries better than some places in Nigeria.

I never mentioned that CNN is in UK and just a random search online will show you how Americans queue for fuel.

The UK story being bandied is that there are no truck drivers abi, and you believe it? Please go and read since when long the drivers have left and how come their country does not have citizens with the skill to dominate such a strategic sector like we do in Nigeria (we don't have Ghanaians or other Africans dominating such a strategic sector in Nigeria yet you don't see anything wrong with the UK? ) , why the drivers left and why even now the UK is switching back on its earlier abandoned coal power stations and power retailers declaring bankruptcy .

To most of you folks, you wake up daily feeling they are superior because they and CNN told you so. For a country claiming to have colonized other countries suddenly citing the excuse of difficulty to replace drivers who have left for months now and you believe them is naive sir. They are in a soup. It is way much deeper and even US has been minting USD as if the world will end tomorrow! That's why Russia and China are calling their bluffs.

I know it's too late to redeem most of you to feel the pride in your nationality but CNN will not tell the story of my country. In life,it's what you focus on that expands. If there's generator, it doesn't tell the whole story and it's a big fat lie that the energy crisis in the UK is caused by paucity of drivers. It is systemic failure and very soon ,they will run out of excuses as the winter sets in.
While EU is confronting their own reality and bracing up for it , the UK is lying on top drivers.
How are you even comparing Nigeria to the UK and US? They're not the same those countries are way more developed their worst is very close to our middle class and our richest barely compare to their richest this isn't a valid argument or even one that makes sense
CultureRe: Was There Really An Oyo Empire? by Abohboy: 10:48am On Oct 02, 2021

In order to take what you have written seriously and not as some exaggeration from some story tellers, do you have any written eyewitness historical accounts to these events.

Secondly, I am not saying there wasn't an Oyo village whose Alaafin was regarded as the leader of the Yoruba people, this is not what I am saying.

What I am saying is there is no independent verifiable sources or eyewitness historical accounts to support the claim that Oyo was an empire or a kingdom. At best it was a Yoruba village that tried to control other Yoruba villages, sometimes calling on the Oba of Benin for help when he is unable to subdue his rebellious Yoruba neighbours.

Anybody can wake up and write anything as history, this is why I always request for eyewitness historical accounts to support such claims.

If Oyo was an empire in the 1600s and 1700s the way you guys are claiming, why are there no independent eyewitness accounts written by Europeans who documented all notable West Africa kingdoms and empires starting from the 1400s to the 1800s.

All that was written about Oyo until 1824 were all hearsay, not first hand accounts. Why are there no European eyewitness that visited this so called great Oyo empire or Kingdom until 1824, other great kingdoms and empires from Itsekiri, Benin to others were all visited and documented but not Oyo, why was the supposed great Alaafin of Oyo not visited until 1824?

When the Europeans finally visited Oyo in 1824 for the first time, all they saw was a small village struggling for survival from his Yoruba neighbours, they didn't see a kingdom or empire.

The ease at which the Fulani took over Ilorin and converted most Yoruba people and their Obas from Ilorin to Ibadan to Islam is enough evidence that Oyo wasn't an empire let alone a formidable one with great cavalry.

If you have an independent verifiable written eyewitness historical accounts about this supposed great Oyo empire, present them. Usually, when people make claims here and you request for evidence to support their claims, they resort to insults. Hope you are different.
Tao11 provided dozens of sources if you simply bothered to read you'd find what you're looking for this is purposeful ignorance and i'm not going to entertain anyone who doesn't bother to do their own research
