What should worry you is if there will be any peace if Nigeria stays together
If you truly believe that the violence in Nigeria is due to the existence of Nigeria and not the lack of jobs and good governance then you need to seriously reconsider your thinking

Even in advanced countries, you can't win with an unknown party. It is a game of numbers and parties give you the spread.
But it's the people that make the parties known or am I wrong? If we want someone to win we research them and then do whatever we can to increase their popularity otherwise we'll continue living in this same wrecked state that we're in now

Stop the illusion. Everywhere in the world, democracy is a two party system.
That's false in Canada, UK, Ghana, South Africa and dozens of other countries there's no two party system as you wrongly claim and it shouldn't even be a problem to make Nigeria into a multi party state in my opinion the best system to copy is the British system of governance and not the American one and even if we do have two parties what's stopping us from breaking the system? Is it now impossible for there to be a third force party in the mix? As if before the creation of APC there weren't up to 4 major political parties in all elections and not just two

A brainy person will tell you age and maturity are two sided coin. They are not necessarily equal .

I am not a babalawo , how can I know all the odu ifa, I am just a mere student learning everyday .
Having brains isn't a measure of maturity either so a brainy person can't necessary tell you that I think you mean a wise person can tell you that but in general adults are expected to be more mature then children and teenagers.

Thank you that's all i've been waiting for, It took 5 posts for you to admit you don't know the whole odu ifa

Even Apc had to form a coalition party to win a weakened Pdp. undecided
ADC is part of a coalition of third force parties ( About 16 so far out of a projected 32 ) so it's not like they're stupid it is possible that Moghalu left to join ADC because they joined the colaition meanwhile YPP and APGA shunned it
PoliticsRe: 2023 Presidential Aspirant, Kingsley Moghalu Defects To ADC by Abohboy: 2:04pm On Oct 08, 2021
This can actually work well seeing that ADC is part of the third force party that they're trying to create for 2023 and if they've gotten Moghalu then it means we could have him as the presidential candidate in the third party that is in development apart from ADC there's also NCP, SDP and several other national party chairman of dozens of political parties in Nigeria this next election is gonna be amazing.

I don't understand why this man will continue to lavish the small money he made from bus position as Deputy governor of CBN on his dreams of presidential post he knows he won't win

Had it been it is in a developed country, he would have been a force to reckon with but Nigeria is a country that kills dreams

I suggest he use the money to invest and create job opportunities for the teaming youths and invest in information technology too
How do you automatically know he will fail? You probably won't even vote for him or try to get others to vote for him but then turn around and blame it on Nigeria how does that make sense it is you the people who vote not Nigeria

You don't come online and start debating about age that is too callow . Nobody cares about how old you are here.

If you have enough knowledge to submit, kindly do instead of this hogwash .

I stop the discussion cus I see too much imbecilic meaning, my immediate brother was admitted into university at the age of 15 and he was able to demonstrate well among colleague that are two of his age . So stop being callow and demonstrate your knowledge instead
I'm simply asking you to admit you're wrong is that so difficult the reason why age matters is to show maturity why is it so difficult for you to admit that don't know the whole odu ifa and hence can't make a statement on whether something is inside or not inside the odu ifa?

So I do not know anything about Africa ? Seriously you need up your studying and find fact which is not based on emotion.

Nothing I mentioned in my previous post , you have full knowledge on yet you boast as if you know much on Ifaodu or even Egyptians historical findings that has to do with dna of Pharaohs that reigned at different times. What about the different form of gods they worship even Ram?

Are you even aware of incest and siblings marriage amongst Pharaohs lineage to assert right to the throne ?

No wonder Africa as a whole with multiethnic groups remain backward, despite over 80%+ world used mineral deposits being genereated in this part of the world's continents.
You believe that Yoruba are semitic that is stupidity

You believe ancient Egyptians are semetic that is stupidity

There is a link between the ancient egyptian religion and culture and the religion and cultures of other African groups like Akan, Zulu, Mossi, Yoruba, Igbo etc. But there is no singular origin of any of these traditional religions to the hebrew semitic religion if anything the Hebrew religion is a massive corruption of the mesopotamian, Egyptiana and Canaanite religions to benefit themselves and take over land that was not previously theirs in the name of the one true God

Being an activist for gays or whatever is okay as long as you don't bring lies into it to prove your points.
Gays and lesbians are also human beings and most educated people don't see them as criminals. As a matter of fact, I don't mind them as long as they don't go about raping people. Yes, they deserve their rights. Whatever you do with your life is your problem. wink

But don't twist history especially when you have no concrete evidence that such a thing was accepted in ancient Yoruba society. Thank you.
You're the one twisting history all your beliefs on it being taboo are based off of western religious views and not from a traditional religious standing within Africa or Yorubaland there's no singular story or religious tale that is against homosexuality and if there were to be one it's likely to be a new one same way you and vaxx claim Adofuro is a new term

grin grin grin Honestly, the bolded is where one should wash their hands clean of you.

Are you educated at all?

The same Europeans that reported everything they saw in frontier Africa, not to forget the heavy embellishments they employed. grin If gay marriages were practised, could it be hidden? If homosexuality was accepted and rampant, could it be hidden? These people had missionaries across Yoruba land, not to forget the Arabs who came first. Not to talk about the records of greats like Ibn Batuta in Africa.

Oga, drop this argument if you can't substantiate your claims. Homosexuality has always been universal but in all organized societies it was frowned upon. People like Sadie were even outcasts, even in tolerant France. Not to talk of Yoruba land which was primordial and cultural and placed a high value on chastity and sanctity of marriage before the coming of the Europeans.

I am still waiting for your links which shows there were gay marriages in Yoruba land.
They recorded lesbian marriages in Igbo land i've told you that already and I will say again that there is no evidence that homosexuality was taboo in yorubaland until after Western cultural and religious values became entrenched in Nigeria

And once again himisexuality cannot be rampant it isn't a widespread practice only a small amount of people are naturally homosexual so why would it be rampant exactly? There's no single story, mythology or chapter in any traditional religion in modern day Nigeria that is against homosexuality if it is not clearly said to be wrong in any way, shape or form how exactly does it become taboo?

What exactly do you know about the Yoruba's Tọra-Tura and Hebrew's Tora and not Bible ?

The name Bible came From Middle English bible, from Middle Latin - biblia ("book"wink (misinterpreted as a feminine from earlier Latin neuter plural biblia ("books"wink), from Old Greek βιβλία, plural of βιβλίον ("small book"wink, originally a diminutive of βίβλος ("book"wink, from βύβλος ("papyrus"wink (from the ancient Phoenician city of Byblos which exported this writing material).

The Old English used biblioþēce (from βιβλιοθήκη) and ġewritu (> English writs) for "the Scriptures."

Bible as a word for scripture wasnt Hebrew's but when their written account in classic form of writing such as ideograms were stolen and the elite, from kings, princes, princesses, chiefs, warriors, citizens were captured etc.

It is from this angle that many were killed while some were being taken to enemies kingdoms as slaves and some of them survived to rebel their new adopted kingdoms and got freed through their alliances with the other kingdoms who wage war against such reigning group(s)over supremacy.

The Bible is a book that contains the history of the Yorubas ,from the following
principal one God

Holy spirit,second in command

other spirit servants

God chose a leader amongst spirits to be leader

the creation angle in Eden,

One disobedient spirit being who pride himself

though Eledumare dealth with him.

human antagonists who are disease, death poverty etc

Heaven and earth recognition of birth and death

to ritual observation

Divination system Ifaodu and efaodu

to commandments

intermarriages with darkskin Africans of African descent such as Nubian, Ethiopians, Egyptians of different dynasty

Relationship of sonship between God and man

All these are information are written down but when the early knowledge were taken from the Hebrew, it turned back to memorising, until it was revamp and later lost it out in Egypt.

In present day Yoruba land of Ileife, the semitic inscriptions lay as to the pointer of it all. So, the bible is not static nor was is it , but the account the western world could lay their hands on were in some account misinterpreted while some area have account, which accurately have parallel information found in Ifaodu.
If you truly believe the Yoruba are semitic and that the Egyptians got their ideas from the Hebrew religion or that African religions descend from the hebrew bible you need help I refuse to entertain such conversations

can you tell me why polygamy is illegal in your "civilised west"?

answer this
It's not part of their culture and they believe strongly in womens rights as far as they're concerned it is against womens rights and oppressive which is why they as the civilized west would ban it but here in Africa both LGBTQ and polygamy are allowed in our culture so for them to even be banned is crazy.

you speak too many gibberish. Who cares if you are younger than me. Fact isn't about age , it is about evidence.

None of my write up has claim there exist evidence from odu ifa suggesting the approval or disapproval of homosexuality. The evidence I have are from contemporary Yoruba who perceived it to be irrational , taboo and immoral ..

I only suggest there exist an odu ifa who assume that sleeping with women as a man is more beneficial. In logical stand , we can deduce the ifa is logically against homosexuality, although the statement is open for a further scrutiny.
How is it gibberish to ask you to admit you're wrong you claimed to know or to have read the whole odu ifa which is impossible, age does matter because I as a teenager should be more stubborn and you as an adult should be more honest with yourself the fact that you fail at your big age to admit when you're wrong is shameful and you trying to riddle it down to gibberish is hilarious

And yes women to man sex is more beneficial it isn't a question there are many cons from gay sex like a leaky bum so of course it says the normal way is beneficial but it doesn't automatically mean that the gay one now becomes taboo or immoral nowhere does it say that when we read African history and religion we see it say don't do this and those who did this were banished or executed and what not so why os there no source that shows such for gay people in traditional African religions? All you're going off is the general homophobic views of African people born from colonial rule and western religious views and they've continued to roll with it since then there's no actual source or evidence showing it was taboo amongst most people and if someone bothered to do an in depth research on it they'd find majority of the stigma stems from western cultural and religious values

This baseless, An important topic as this will have warrant a concrete information for everyone of us.

justify your statement by providing an evidence. Provide us evidence in one odu Ifa that agree with you.
I'm asking you to admit you were wrong is that so difficult? I'm 15 many years younger then you but if i'm wrong in an argument then i'm wrong and I can admit that why is it so diffuclt for you to admit that you don't know the whole odu ifa?

And I revised my statement of homosexuality being in the odu ifa accordingly with the conversations i've had with a babalawo who clearly told me that it has no stance doesn't condemn it, acknowledge it or praise it, he said that means it was there and they were allowed to do whatever and there was nothing against them doing said act whatsoever in any religious text

Since you asked me to provide evidence and i've admitted there's no evidence let's see if you can admit that there is no evidence of taboo against homosexuality in yoruba folklore or religion I bet you can't find any verse or story and if you do it's likely made up on the spot by you

And when I asked him what Ifa's views on homosexuality was he said nothing it doesn't condemn it, doesn't mention it and certainly doesn't praise it, it just allows to exist as normal and that is the same thing that we should be doing and not trying to makeit seem like it was taboo in the past when it clearly wasn't

No folklore history nor any existing ifa statement position your assertions.they are simply based on your ignorance.and if I am mistaing, provide one you know that we are not aware of .
And you still haven't addressed the point or the fact that it is IMPOSSIBLE for any one human to know the whole of Ifa at any one time so for you to claim such is ridiculous and I request that you admit your mistake

My evidence is through the Babalawos i've spoken to although homosexuality doesn't appear in the odu ifa it should give you an idea of their stance nothing. There is no stigma or no praise for it they do what they want and that's it

That is the information I collected from conversations with a Babalawo named Baba Yooba and yes there are folklore tales involving homosexuality in yoruba land you just have to talk to a reputable and a reliable ifa priest and you'll get the information you're searching for in any case this conversation doesn't matter it isn't going anywhere
