There is more to ICT than website design and there is a huge deficit in expertise compared to the population size.

Nigeria is not food sufficient in spite of all the farmers so there is a problem somewhere. Knowledge is part of the problem. Knowledge of modern farming methods and techniques.

The government will be giving loans to farmers, marker women and artisans. Stay tuned.

any graduate that can't easily a teaching job in Nigeria of today needs to be questioned, i met such people in large numbers during my youth service especially among the ladies. there's a huge demand for private school teachers especially in the sciences, farmers need loans to improve not this program. we also need protection from Fulani herdsmen migrating now as the rains have commenced, we're now too afraid to talk to them when we see them grazing on our farms, this government is always making the wrong choices due to political reasons.

loan from whom? a graduate that really wants to go for his or her masters won't be at home eating free food after youth service, they buy the form during service, save up money and make adequate plans, go to pg schools and ask them their stories.

You are getting paid to learn skills and contribute to the country's development by transferring those skills to those that need it. The Nigerian economy as it stands can not generate these jobs. It keeps people engaged and offer them opportunities to learn vital skills that can be applied in other areas.

Loans for farmers, market women and artisans will soon be launched. The government has already thought of that.

We do not have an over supply of ICT skills or farmers.

It also gives them knowledge in farming and ICT that can be applied independently of government help... The main benefit is the skills which is often lacking amongst graduates not the money.

bros, there's no sense for a university graduate to leave a better paying and definitely more supportive teaching job in a private school to slave for 23k in a temporary government work, even the youth service pays more than this if you consider both the state and federal allowances. we already have an over supply of farmers and website designers, what we need are serious farming loans and constant electricity, this government is confused and propandist to a fault.

the university graduates would be earning #23,000 per month and people are actually hailing this? the total take home pay in my church owned school is about #35,000 per month with a contributory pension scheme for all teachers and gratuity for any teacher that puts in a minimum of ten years in service.my church school is located in a village in the north and doesn't even pay upto what many private owned schools pay in places like abuja and kaduna. this scheme was designed to fail from day one.

the law stipulates that any money accruing to the country should be paid into the federation account, shared between the states and fg, any party is then free to spend their own as they deem fit, paying salaries, paying the 1.75billion budgeted for buhari personal feeding or buying a new luxury boathouse for buratai and his men to host sex orgies parties. this is a democracy. buhari should follow the law.

In my case before I married my wife she confessed she had been banging a senior colleague at her work place but had long quit the lifestyle before we started dating.
