Family › Re: A Man Has Every Right To Sleep With His Wife After Traditional Marriage by ABOVEDELAW: 7:34am On Jul 24, 2019 |
YOU ARE RIGHT TO SOME EXTENT BUT DO YOUR GOVERNMENT RECOGNISE TRADITIONAL MARRIAGES IN ORDER TO ISSUE YOU WITH A MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE? METHINKS THAT'S THE ESSENCE OF WHITE WEDDINGS IN AFRICA. Rapmoney: It is so ridiculous and shameful at the same time that in our society, people have become so religiously blind to the extent where our traditions no longer have the slightest of value, regard or relevance. It is this shameful disregard for customs and traditions that has made many Nigerians to have a picture of a day called 'wedding night'. It is usually expected that a man and his wife should make love only after the wedding ceremony. That night after the wedding is usually seen as the 'right time' for loving making to take place between the couple. This practice is a symbol of cultural slavery among Africans!
For those who claim to profess Christianity even more than the missionaries, the Early Church headed by Simon Peter concerned itself with leading people to salvation and not to ordain or organise marriages. All marriages recorded in the Holy Book were done or consummated traditionally, according to the customs of the people; including the one Jesus attended in Galilee! This should clearly show the 'religious zealots' that marriage is more of tradition than religion.
White wedding as the name implies is for white people. It has never been a religious way of joining a man and a woman together; it is the cultural and traditional marriage practice among westerners. After all, the Jewish people have their customary way of getting married. Why did the Europeans and Americans not copy them? Africans readily accept alien practice pushed down to them without any slight resistance even if such practice makes mockery of their customs and traditions.
If a mother sends one of her children to go and wash plates and when that child is done with the task, she sends another one to re-wash the plates, it means the work of the first child is not good enough. This is what Africans indirectly tell the westerners: 'Our marriage customs are not good enough; yours are better'.
A man has every right to sleep with his wife immediately after the bride price is paid and the traditional marriage rites are carried out. Same thing applies to the woman. Let us stop enslaving ourselves culturally. After traditional marriage, sex becomes a duty to be enjoyed and not a taboo!
We should learn from the Japanese, Chinese, Koreans and the entire Asian continent who have succeeded in preserving their culture. Between white wedding and traditional marriage, the former is the alien one and should be seen and treated as such.

HOW RICH AND FORWARD WAS AFRICA BEFORE THE COMING (RELIGION) CHRISTIANITY? princeogbeide1: Religion is simply the reason why Africans are poor and backward. We don't want to be logical and creative but we want a miracle to happen. In the fight for this miracle, we go to church and start donating money for pastors and the female followers offers their pussy to their pastors as well. This is a big shame on us because the British that brought Christianity into Africa don't practice Christianity like this. They don't believe in miracles but they explore and make the world a better place. |

BEFORE RELIGION(CHRISTIANITY) CAME, WHAT WERE YOUR ANCESTORS ACHIEVEMENTS THAT RELIGION DREW BACKWARDS? NPComplete: What leaders are u talking about? The leaders are a reflection of the collective predilections of the people. You have bad leaders because you are bad people and only maintain systems that appeal to the lowest common denominator and ensure they get into positions of power.
Religion has always and will always be a major problem to us. It is religion that makes the black man go to vigil and scream his heart out instead of working and using his head. It is what makes MFM guys kill their enemies every year with no result to show for it financially and materially yet still remain adamant and stick to the same futile strategies. The version of religion we practice encourages men to steal so they can come give testimony in churches. It encourages wanton looting by civil servants so they can get front row and positions of deacons in church.
The energy we have expended in praying to God, who has already blessed us with everything we need, could have been best applied into creative pursuits. Religion encourages indolence and the emphasis on miracles stymies but technological and business growth.
Let me give u an example. In other less religious countries, when a business man is failing at his business, he begins to reconsider his strategy. He thinks up innovative ways and failing that, he closes the business and seek better opportunities suited to him. In Africa and other religion-induced low IQ countries, the man baulks at the first sign of trouble and runs to church. His pastors begins to tell him there is something after him and enemies are at the gates. Suddenly the country, nay the world, has lost an opportunity to see a new innovation or a new idea. The man himself has lost an opportunity to grow and know himself better. The list is endless....
Religion is a problem. It hinders men from using their abilities most times. |

WHAT TYPE OF CRACK DID YOU SMOKE, GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT BEFORE YELLING OR BETTER KEEP QUIET! XXLDICK: The phrase "Chukwu Okike Abiama" became overly pronounced especially by the IPOB group of recent. Many people including Igbos have no idea of its meaning. I asked my kinsmen but they had no idea too definitely because we aren't from Arochukwu.
Contrary to recent believe, Chukwu Abiama is a pagan God and not what many of us believe it is. Chukwu Abiama was the name given to the central God of the Arochukwu people.
Chukwu Abiama which means the God that reveals truth was very instrumental during slave trade because the shrine which housed the God was more like a supreme court in Arochukwu, anybody whom was found guilty was either dedicated to the gods (Osu) or sold to the whites as a slave.
Igbos that claim to be Jews claimed Chukwu Abiama means God of Abraham, that Abiama is a distorted pronunciation of the word Abraham
It's funny to find many Christians now using the phrase Chukwu Okike Abiama, if only they knew which God they are calling.
The claim that Chukwu Abiama means God of Abraham is just another attempt by some low self-esteem Igbos to rewrite the Igbo history and solidify their irrational claim of Jewish ancestry which I see as an insult to the great Igbo tribe because the Igbo tribe predates Adam. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Who Answers Wrong Prayer? - Imuwahen Gloria A. by ABOVEDELAW: 12:54pm On Jun 23, 2019 |
STOP POSTING THINGS THAT ARE ABOVE YOUR KNOWLEDGE! Joyfulguy: Wrong prayers are those prayers that are prayed wrongly. The question therefore is how do we ascertain wrong prayers? However, we understand that all the prayer that Christians pray is channeled to God in the name of Jesus. But truly speaking not all the prayers that are prayed in Jesus’ name is accepted by God. In fact some prayers tingles God's ‘ear’, because they are not according to what prayers should be. Those prayers that are not in line with what prayer should be are the wrong prayers. Sometimes, these wrong prayers do receive answers and then many usually think that God answered them. The reason is that those wrong prayers are prayed in ‘Jesus name’. The fact is that not all prayers that are prayed in Jesus name are right. The name of Jesus is the authority that is given to every believer in Christ to pray. But when a believer prays wrong prayers the name of Jesus cannot authorize such prayers. See the verse below. "If any one turns away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer is an abomination."
Proverbs 28:9
This is simply because; the name of Jesus has its own limits in operation. The only thing that limits the potency of the name of Jesus is wrong prayers. Take for instance, if a believer prays that someone should die and he seals his prayer with the name of Jesus. This kind of prayer is wrong prayer because the name of Jesus cannot kill. The name Jesus means savior and as a result there’s no way savior will kill. What a savior does is to save.
Somehow, unknowingly people who pray wrong prayers do not know that they have made themselves vessels to the enemy. And funny enough, they think and are satisfied that they are vessels unto God. This is why it is important that believers are taught how to pray because if they know they will pray rightly. Now, let’s see more of some wrong prayers and the misnomers attached them. When armed robbers pray and go for their operation. When they succeed, they believe that God answered their prayer. When the fraudsters pray for a successful execution of their plans and it works out fine for them, they believe that it is God who answered them. When the prostitute prays for more customers and more customers troop into her apartment for her "job", she is also convinced that God answered her prayer. Ignorantly, many continue in this way, thinking that God is in charge of what they are doing. It is not the hand of God, but the hand of the devil that is at work in all these ignoble situations. "In which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience" Ephesians 2:2.
What transpires is that the man who prays these wrong prayers has his given authority for the devil to function with. The devil, who is the prince of the power of the air, picks up such prayers and answers them. When you pray that an evil thing should happen to someone and it happens, you are no longer a vessel unto God. This is because God prepares His vessels for good works as stated in Ephesians 2:10, and not for destruction. Even Jesus asked us to pray for our physical enemies according to Matthew 5:44. Some may ask, "Why would God allow such people to live?" Well, it is because He is a merciful God; as He really says; "For I have no pleasure in the death of any one, says the Lord God; so turn, and live" Ezekiel 18:32.
