I got my final decision today and was denied basis the below

Thank you for your interest in visiting Canada. After careful review of your temporary resident visa application and supporting documentation, I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR). I am refusing your application on the following grounds:

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.

This is a brief summary of my application.

I applied 10th May 2019- paper route, received biometrics confirmation email on 29th May 2019 & final decision 12th June 2019.

I have 9 years working experience- I currently work in an Oil & Gas multinational company with a good pay (working there for 5 years) and i am also an event planner on the side (Registered my business name). I wrote a strong worded letter assisted by Africholiday giving full details of my occupation, reason for travel and itinerary to undergo during my 10 days stay in canada. Travel history (Ghana, Abu dhabi, Dubai &USA-my American Visa is valid till may 2020 ). All my family members (Mother & siblings) are married and live in nigeria (updated their info on my application form)so i dont understand why they say i have no family ties in nigeria & Canada (I dont even know anyone in Canada)

Documents submitted are as follows
* Application form
* Bank statement (6months )- Both Personal & My Business account (Over 4m -combined)
* CAC document
* Letter of introduction from my company
* 6 months stamped and signed payslip
* Office ID Card
* Detailed cover letter for my reason to travel
* Copies of my visas and past travel history
* Hotel reservation
* Flight reservation
* Tour reservation & details

I am so frustrated with this, please help as i will like to re-apply(Probably online this time). what do i do next? i dont want to make any mistakes. How do i respond to them or know what the mean by family ties in nigeria & canada.

I am single (though engaged) . could that be why?

Canada hardly gives visa to those who apply with Hotel Reservations. An invitation letter from someone based there is your best bet. Even with 10m in your bank account, as long as you don't have an invitation letter, you will get exact same result

I'm I missing something? Is it not the NJC, through the FJSC, that normally recommend Justices to the President for appointment? Why is the President writing to the Ag CJN instead of NJC? I'm kinda confused here

when pdp was in power all religions of the country was accommodated in all positions. Voting power were not considered, until the divide and rule group comes in ,we started hearing that are people that knows politics and others don't know. If an igbo man is billed to contest election in any of the political parties can fulani man vote him ?

But the South East was voting "massively" for PDP in those years, so it was ok for PDP to "carry them along" in sharing positions. Their 2015 & 2019 voting pattern is what put them in one chance so. Igbos don't know how to play politics, they can only make noise and insult people on social media!

No everyone have the unique ability to understand the concept of mathematics and some students will do whatever it takes to say goodbye to mathematics. The challenge of most candidates includes mathematics and if given a choice, many will throw or kick mathematics away completely.

This is why i dont regard sowore and his media team. Canada is trying to stop nigerians crossing into the country illegally. Express entry is a legal means of going to canada nigerians and indians are the major recipients. Sowore shud learn how to report.

Obviously reading and understanding is a problem for you. The Canadians are not bothered with Express Entry, it is those who get US visas and cross into Canada to seek Asylum they are bothered about!

If that was the case then why have there been a high influx of Nigerians on expired and unexpired temporary US visas flooding into Canada illegally through the US-Canadian border seeking for asylum?

If those Nigerians who are granted US visas are really with high paying jobs and quite successful in Nigeria then they should not be overstaying their presence in the US or crossing illegally into Canada to seek fake asylum.

Go with the printed and filled form ds3053 and a photocopy of your (ur husband) international passport, data page n back of passport. Also go with original for citing.


The details are the info required in the form e.g name of child and date of birth etc

The only problem I see here is that your visa was not used for what it was gotten for,so you have two options you might want to explore.
1. This is the ideal option, your wife should do her homework and apply for a new medical visas and come clean.
2.Send the change of intent letter,buy 2wks ticket for yourself and 5months for your wife and kids,and make sure that their (your wife and kids) ticket is a flexible one i.e. that you can change dates for a small fee,don't go and buy those promo tickets where they ask for an arm & a leg when you want to change dates. This route is not advisable cause your wife might have issues renewing her visa.

Why do you have to be so confused? If you've followed this thread, you'll realise that the advice from even the visa officers on similar scenarios is for your wife to get another visa, for the purpose childbirth, to avoid unnecessary issues at the POE. She should ensure that she does it through an interview, so that she has an opportunity to disclose that intent to them snd provide all relevant information and go with all the necessary paperwork. Oncr this is done, you can purchase your tickets as intended, for the varying durations for you and the family. I wonder, though, how she plans to cope with 2 kids plus one on the way for that duration of time.

Why must you be rude to say someone is confused? If you can't be polite in addressing people, then ignore people who are "confused". You can reply people without insults!

congrats and wish you safe delivery. did you reapply for a new visa for childbirth or you sent a change of intent letter?

She said she got the visa in 2016. Used it for the intended purpose(Honeymoon). Travelling sept 28 for birthing in 2017 was a bonus on Same Visa. If she obtained a new visa for birthing, I guess she would have stated it.

Install a good vpn, preferably the paid type. Register for trial period and use the trial period to do all the enquiry you need to do on the website and other American hospital sites that block Nigerian IP.

I got my Visa August 1st ..B1/B2 Tourist Visa, On my Ds 160 Form i filled intended date of travel as 10th Nov ..but now i want to Travel Oct 6TH....

Would this be a problem at the POE ?

Also can i travel with 2 luggages full of clothes and foodstuff? (on my form i filled in 7 days of staying in the United States) ...

What type of Foodstuff isn't a problem?

She was actually nice cause some VOs don't even tell you where you went wrong, they just refuse you. And I already have all my documents, budget sheet, Dr's letter etc thanks to this group, but she dint ask to see any document. Please has anyone use Dr Akere in Chicago what do you think about him and what do you suggest I do

I think the VO was nice. She telling you congrats meant she was in the mood to give you the visa. But the doctor you planned to use messed up things for you. Simply get a gynecologist, exchange correspondence and reapply. Afterall the VO said you should research well. Research does not take eternity. By the time you are going back, tell them you have done your research properly.
