Family › Re: Take The Pressure Off The Kids: Why Kids Need To Play by achi4u(m): 11:20am On Jul 19, 2014
honeric01: Alot of parents do this not because they want the kids to be very smart in book related matters, rather they need a place they can keep the kids while they chase their selfish desires about (Money, fame, wealth, power and fun).

They keep the kids in school so they can have time for themselves without minding the child's development, they want the school to train the kids for them in all ways, delegating their parental responsibilities to the school teachers without knowing the background of these teachers.

Selfish world, selfish parents!
Brother you'v nailed this thread.
90% of parents are guilty of this and the effects is what we are getting today in our society.
I always allows my kids to also have their time while guarding them in their academic work too.
Lets give our children their time.

But who else can develop our land if not u and me?
But igboman can still travel out of his state no matter how beautiful and developed his state is...it is in us.

Again, it is only in nigeria that a mechanical engineer will tell you that he/she don't know what is PISTON and RINGS grin
Not to talk of repairing an engine ...but call an illiterate chinese or indian who hardly hear "come" he /she will tear the tractor engine and repair it without blinking an eyes, lol
Still education will brings out the best in you and still positioned you to water the un forseen future storm.
Go with the both.
Education › Re: Difference In Mentality Of Vocational Students & Academic Students by achi4u(m): 3:24am On Jan 08, 2014
It is always better to combine both(vocation and academics)if you have the opportunities.Imagine me who have never go to any higher institution engaging SOME of those so called graduate in their on field of studies.
It is not as if I hated education or that I don't want to go to school rather i'm not opportune to further my education to the length.
My only saving grace is that I READ any book that my hand can lay on...and this is where most today's students are lacking ;I mean, how can u know what you don't read?
their next answer will even shock you -sorting?
Today whatever a graduate do I myself will equally do it even better and bigger despite that I don't I have paper certificate.
Yes, I can't go for job hurting because I can't stay for so long doing office work.lol

In summary, education and vocational skills should /must be included in our universities.
Do you know how many grads I have introduced to this forum?

@bro cjrane thanks for ur well thought out message to NdiIgbo. Our problems are too numerous but the worst of it all is hatred, enviousness, tribalism and the chief among them is NEPOTISM.
Igbos are divided among state line,if u are not from my state then nothing for you and when it come to state the're still division upon division and don't mistake it as online thing...it happens in real life.

Our land mass are too small to be divided in such manner ...that we could be able to stand the nigerian state for almost 3good years during the biafran civil war is because of the little Unity that exist then;God forbid could such thing happen to us again because we will kill ourselves before the real war reaches alaigbo.

My people unite for better tomorrow.
Politics › Re: Rivers Group Scolds Amaechi Over His Comment That Gej Only Developed Biafrans by achi4u(m): 3:51pm On Jan 03, 2014
wingman: Boy it is hard to believe you are educated. Amaechi simply said " Are we Biafrans ?" Meaning are we not Nigerians why neglect us.
Off course every sensible being knows there is no state of Biafra existing at the moment.
How do you in your warped mind associate his statement with disowning Igbos ?
Your low self esteem is so pathetic. You have to take a swipe at Igbos each day just to feel good. You are hooked like a drug addict and this habit may eventually kill you .
Why do you need to abuse the Igbos so as to feel fulfilled and alive ? Do you feel that inferior to them ? Why dont you develop yourself into a successful man, then you dont have to get your fix by abusing those you feel are your superiors.
Let he who get ears hear, this post is an 'end of discussion'grin

ketoprofen: u are sure idodo peeps don't av light?
My brother it is not only electricity, many many many things are not in shape over there and tomorrow a person from there may like to join his "REAL" Igbo brothers to taint Ebonyi image. Thus, i'm not in anyway denigrating or bashing my good people of Amechi Idodo or NKerefi them but I use their side as a case study cum example.
Maybe they were going thruogh what we went through in the hand our big brother state Enugu.
A forgotten territory. lol

Jlow2: ebonyi is the worst state in nigeria,no economic activities,no developments d worst is dat der pple re backwards in thinkin and very hostile esp d ezza pple, havin a lot of solid minerals in abundance lyk lead, zinc, limestone etc did not change anytin,a lot of investors hav visitd d state but at d end of d day d villagers will fustrate all d efforts being made 2 move d state fward,by threatn investors n faces they dnt knw in dis remote areas,d lack of political will hav made niger-cem an eyesore everytin has been vandalised, even wit d abundance of all types of stone der roads constructn look so inferior, lets pray der next governor comes frm d southern zone lyk afikpo.
I decided to quote you when I see where you mentioned Ezzas as hustle people.
Now,can you in one sentences tell me why Ezzas are hustle people?
Did you know that it is Ezza Ezekuna that gives Ebonyi state the voice they have today? who are you to talk when Ezzaman is talking ...look at this coward! Oh! because we refused to be cheated like Izzi people who dash their land to none indigene at a low price?
Are you for real? how the Gods allow you to govern a state you are bashing in the cyberspace? A state you are regretting to be part of...who dash monkey banana?

I don't think you're from Ebonyi let alone from Afikpo but if it happens you are an Ebonyian and from the southern part ...kindly reply me this text so we can put things in the right perspective or fly to hell.
Politics › Re: Is Ebonyi No Longer Part Of Nigeria? by achi4u(m): 4:22am On Jan 03, 2014
You only answer Ebonyi and be proud of her when it suit you ...and next minutes you denied the finger that feed. Again what are ur conditions before you were caved to Ebonyi state from Imo and Abia, is Afikpo and its enviro more develop then than now.
Ogbonna Onu was the formal gov. of Abia state before, what did he achieved ...how was Iburu and Okposi then?...now go to that side and see modern development, Elechi government tarred their road to even afor Nkerefi in Enugu state.
Anyway, my happiness is that majority of Southerns were very happy, which in no distant time they will rule the state ...I won't want to spoil my day in Ndibe beach where i'm having fun with my family.

umuAfikpo ndi isi ha zuru oke jokwanu.
Politics › Re: Is Ebonyi No Longer Part Of Nigeria? by achi4u(m): 4:05am On Jan 03, 2014
To my southern Ebonyians who keeps distancing themselves to the rest of the state should not only be ashamed of themselves but should park their loads and face that state you think that is better for you so that our little monthly peanut from Abuja will be evenly distributed amongst us.
Those who rejected not to be caved into Ebonyi state are still regretting it till this days because their villages have never seen electricity not to talk of good road and other good things government can offer.I don't want to mention their names here but if you are coming to Ebonyi state via Enugu road you will witness what i'm talking about.
idodo comes to mind.

kokoA: I think you have a problem with comprehension. I can't believe a normal adult would dull to this extent.
Why won't I have a comprehension problem to understand when a girl says her husband is an Unoka in "things fall apart "
The issue of not being aggressive in business is based on individual not the entire state. Tell me all the people in ur village is doing well in their businesses and I will show u an efulufu there...an ori nri aguta oku for that matter.

sethken: People are still offering their children as house helps in Nigeria. It brings to mind the grim images of slavery that happened before our generation. Where a person is seen as a house help/a quasi-slave. If a person is a place in their life where they know that if they bear children they won't be able to provide for such children, such a person is better off not having children. The idea of offering one's child to serve as a house help for another is gut wrenching.
Ok.let me still put this issue of house help to order ...from 1999 or before then when Dr Same Egwu the formal gov introduced free and compulsory child basic education the issue of house help died a natural death. If u doubt me,tell us hw many Ebonyi girls doing house help in ur area because d last time I checked they are the ones given other girls from other se state headache in school competition.

As for boy boy,we know where it started and where it is still happening.
