Mynd_44: Attention seeking thread.Well, my village old men no know wetin democracy dey about. So trying to claim constitution right is irrelevant. And if you dont believe me its alright. |
The last time i came 4years ago to seek this same advice, every nairalander said i should go ahead and ask her out. I did and that was one of the most annoying days of my life. We lost the friendship and even while she wanted to still come close, it didnt just work. So i will advice you think real good, if you dont wanna lose your friendship with hime, draw a line. |
Fourcade: where is the source? The source is an A4 paper filled with grammatical blunders from some old men. It is inside a brown envelope sitting calmly in my bed side drawer. Make I scan am post for here? Nooooh!!! I won't do that. I don't want you all to start laughing at those old men who spelt; Marry as mari Girl as geh Marriage as marange You must as you moshst Enough of the hints joh! Find me wife is what I asked for, not some investigative session. |
Idowuogbo: I dont believe u acid! It's all for show rite?Joke keh? Isn't until when you hear in 3months time that "Village girl shoots husband with her father's hunting gun" before you will believe me? This na serious issue oh! I know say una no like me for nairaland, so it will even make your guys happier if dem force me to maRry village girl. |
Okay! It is very acceptable if you mock me or call me all sort of names but this is my story: I just received a letter through a popular transporting company from my village. In the content of the letter, the elders are trying to disown me and banish me if I don't return with a woman I want to marry in the next 2months. They have even threatened to marry me to a village vigilante's daughter if the 2months elapse and I am yet to bring a wife. But God forbid, I will rather remain a 'baby papa' than settle for one local girl who will eventually kill me with her troubles after she gets expose. Are you a good cook? Can you pound yam? (With pestle and morter NOT poundo yam). Can you cook Edikianko, banga, afang, efo riro, Egusi and stew very well? Are you intelligent and frugal in spending? If you like earn pass me, that is your cup of tea but be rest assure I won't ask you for a dime. If you qualify, please send your 'Application' before 5 days from now. Note : Only short listed candidate will be contacted. Help me now before I am forced to marry a village girl. |
Sirniyeh: Hello madam acidtalk,I will give you a very good Graphic Deisgn for your magazine layout and also introduce you to very reliable and truthworthy printer (who runs his own printing press as well). |
Kehnyshavin: Dude,iCalled mtn customer care 2day and to quote 'em-"friday isn't a weekend, cos u go 2wrk,d txts and free cdt is meant for sat and sundays"COMPREHENDÈSo obvious your masters (MTN) sent you here to come and clean their a55es. Go back and tell them it will remain dirty for life. Very stingy and deceitful set of people. |
ezstino: thanks bro for this invaluable lessons so far. i want to run a bulk sms website. please i will like hear your advice on this especially on the best way to get the market fot this kind of product. again, is there any other business you think that might go hand in hand with the bulk sms stuff. thank you in advanceBulk sms seems to be a very lucrative business as people are in continuos high need for marketing tools. Get your customers first I.e, church, political parties/candidates, heavy consumable goods manufacturers and the rest. They are most like to be your good customers. You can include web hosting along side the bulk sms business. Will drop some more insights later. |
Wislet: beautiful topic. Both of us lecture will be in a quite and serene place devoid of the preying eyes of all these amebo people. Well let's just say this is part of the serious side of acidtalk people don't know. Also maybe my 2cents of trying to help people in my own little way. |
Aringon: You that is washing down the customer care fellows are you good, calm, matured and can work under undue pressure? Are you better than them if given the same position? The way you spoke with them was polite or something no matter how bad the connection? All the customer care fellows are excellent and is dependent on factors, read comments made by members here, some said MTN or Glo or Airtel etc is the best and some said otherwise.Pardon? Do you mind coming again please. |
nchewi: My dear, it's easier said! Not everybody has access to the kind of information dat u have and not all is that knowledgeable/smart to spot opportunities. Yet, we all have our purpose. You are correct but come on, what one needs is the zeal to succeed. See this thread which is currently giving entrepreneurs FREE consulting advice on how to get started - https://www.nairaland.com/987784/a-z-entrepreneur-all-need-know |
Ijogz K: If you are honest it would pay you... I believe that you probably might be lying, cuz if actually you load the amount you claim you load weekly, The moment u dial "180" even if u cut the call after 2seconds, they would call you back, Cuz you definitely gonna be a "Platinum" member.. MTN av special positions for all their users, starting fromI have been told this before. I would have dropped my number to verify but it won't be necessary. I load mtn more than I load all others conbined together. I have MTN, Glo, Starcomms, Etisalat, Airtel, even Intercellular wey people no dey use again, I get am. I have no reason to lie. |
hillary22: MTN has the best customer service.Which MTN? The one in South Africa or the one in Ghana? Damn obvious you are likely to be a staff of MTN or a spouse to a staff. MTN never returns nadah! It is my most recharge line but I want to change that norm. Got the number for N26,500. The very year gsm was introduced in Nigeria, even when I travel out I use it to roam. Since I bought it till now MTN has NEVER given a single N50 free airtime. No week I don't recharge up to N10,000 or slightly less. That Network is a disaster. Glo and Etisalat arre the most generous. But still talking on their customer care attitude, I stand by it that MTN isn't the best at all.. |
oluseg2: In my opinion, Glo has the worst customer care service in Nigeria. My reason is not far fetched; You think Glo is bad? Try dialing MTB, you won't even be able to get through. Maybe they turned off the customer care access lane out lines only them sabi. And if you are so damn lucky to get through, na some rude set of human beings go follow you talk. |
MTN staff are some et of rude fellow too. From the security, cleaner down to the custer care representative. |
For Me I use almost all Telecoms network (Gsm and CDMA). Best is : Globacom Worst is: Airtel Went to Airtel within the week to lay a comoplain, unknowingly to the guy I understood the language he used to yab me. Na him I begin rake. He felt so embarrased and ashamed. He started wanting to form friendly. But it was too late as this dude wasn't smiling. Also, Airtel spends less on training their customer care staff, they talk and act untrained. |
^^^ Nice one. |
Wislet: YUPWhat business are you into? And for how long? |
yamakuza: i'm not saying an hotel is the best location. i'm just saying its an option. Please don't get me wrong. I didn't dispute it wasn't good option, was only trying to point out the disadvantage of having one within a hotel. |
pendo89: Normal is okVery funny indeed. But you won't consider a voice like Barry White to be roaring would you? |
@Ruudie and @DailyNew, Thanks so much for the honesty and word facts. Most people on this forum tend to paint a story/life they are not worth fitting into thereby just satisfying the "day dreaming ego". You both spoke well. |
Mynd_44: Sniffing gum huh?Same category with you that inhales petrol. |
@GentlyLoud, Thanks for this very insightful, honest and open contribution of yours. I believe it will go a very long way in opening the perspection of entrepreneurship people have. |
yamakuza: true that, esp if its going to be located within the premises, and not an adjoining shop.Don't also forget businesses like that within a Hotel are not really likely to move that fast. Except of course the hotel is located within a business ditrict like Victoria Island in Lagos. Most Customers will use their laptops, tablets or phones to surf the net. |
tellwisdom: Most nigerian guys, after eating APKU, their voice changes; Not even partly the aforementioned, up there.!! Research is going on sha on what name to give those voice.Akpukish or bariapku? |
Billyonaire: I will buy it for 10m and turn it to a billionaire naira enterprise within 5 yrs.Trust your business sense. |
ijebabe:How many times have i told you to stop inhaling gum and chewing ganja at the same time. Go try drink milk make e calm down your head. |
Goldieluks: if una kidnap am,make una no release am yet. i go pay una double.tAke water joh! no bother paying,m na free. That your boyfriend sexkillz get big problem oh! na jungle him suppose dey reside |
yamakuza: hotels could also be another location to consider, with the benefit of free/steady gen power.Thats if he/she reaches an agreement with the hotel owner. Most Hotels always have their inhouse Business centre/internet cafe. |
mannet: Well now I see that u truly don't want to change and I see also that u're not sincere with ur life, how can ur online personality be different from the real u; out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh/ hand writes,or express ursef, also by their fruits we shall no them. With the way u talk seriously am very much convinced now that u have a problem. You are so correct. It has been medically proven that he has a problem. Even seun have spent alot on getting him one of the best psychiatrist in Nigeria, all to no avail. He is being deceived by the fake praises those girls shower on him after those his silly comments. |
kunletiwoo: Amen! and you too.correct guy. |
